Today, I’m going to peel back the layers that go into this universal struggle and introduce philosophies and techniques that have withstood the test of time. These powerful practices will help you overcome procrastination so you can get more done.
No matter how productive you are, there are times when obstacles will disrupt your progress. This can cause poor performance and stagnation, which leads to self-blame and regret. My math 😅 very week
Hi Coach, Wabi Sabi for me this week .
Thank you for sharing sir 🙏🌈
Wabi Sabi (Soul Healing)
@@duonghoangminh7634 Easy, chant God's name and stay away from people who pulls out the worst version of you. And don't forget to give me biriyani treat 😊 if you ever come to India ❤️.
1) Kaizen (small improvements everyday)
2) Shinrin yoku (connecting with nature)
3) Ikigai (reason for being)
4) Wabi sabi (celebrating imperfections)
5) Shoshin (embracing the beginners' mindset)
6)Hara hachi bu (eat till you're 80% full)
7) Ganbaru (doing your best; patience;unwavering perseverance)
1) I try but often fail
2) I want to but it's not really possible outside of a zoo
3) too many and too little
4) parts of me get it, but most of me wants everything and everyone to be perfect somehow 🤔
5) I'm always at a beginners mode because I've been missing some screws for a long time and constantly confused about most things 😓
6) THIS! chit can't really be done. I got a an angry mob of feminist land whalers living inside that want me to feed them constantly and I somehow justify it because I'm not physically looking out of shape 😒
7) I usually always try my best and most times I end up doing the worst somehow, and my mind's usually all over the place... There's so much work and too little time, not enough energy, and plenty of focus issues and I'm craving some mashed potatoes with gravy and a rack of juicy ribs, some corn bread loaded with butter, some fried chicken, fried catfish, and hot bowl of pho, and the best quality steaks because these munchies are REAL! And I'm too lit to feel like ordering anything or do anything 😓
Thank you! ❤️
Thank you!
@@mizum3458, you have a lot to work on, but we all do. At least you are honest about where you are falling short. Good luck in your journey. You can do it.
Thank you ❤
In my country, France, we would never use the word "productivity" to talk about someone life. It's purely and only used for work, particularly industrial places ( but not only). In your free time, you certainly don't need to be productive. Just enjoy life and people.
❤
"Little by little. A little becomes a lot!"
I am a huge believer of Kaizen so definitely one of my favorite techniques and the easiest one to do.
Nice to see you here, Mike/Matty!
oh hey Mike and Matty ..hw r u guys??
I am great! How are you doing? 😀@@beyourbest553
Happy to be here! 🫡@@sumitrtamrakar
Totally agree! 👍🏻
I've been watching a lot of stuff about the Japanese, I never knew they were such honourable, respectful and maintained by exceptional discipline
Yes, but they kill whales
Yes but killing any life form could be seen as a terrible thing, so long as humans don't disrupt the balance of nature. I imagine they probably have disrupted the cycle of whale life though :( @@77NickDale
When you have either committed or recently recommitted to the great work of change this video hits differently! Thank You for such a timely offering!
This makes me miss living in Japan so much. You will hear people say "gambatte!" all the time. Thank you for these reminders. I need to remember to incorporate them back into my life.
Thank you for this gem of a video. Great content as always Jim.💪💯

In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart. I'm really much impressed with your personality here. And your comments are so interesting..
This is great content! Thank you, Jim!
The explaining about of words passion, mission, profession and vocation are the better definitions that I've ever read and they reproduce the truth. Greetings from Brazil, Jim.
Thank you Jim for introducing our wisdom! I had no idea that even "Harahachibu" can be one of the technique to overcome the Laziness. Those 7 techniques are all familiar to us and it’s our lifestyle!
Unfortunately I don’t know much about Japanese culture, but as much as I know it, I find it one of the most interesting cultures in the world which has lots of good things to offer and interestingly is still alive and being practiced even by many young Japanese! 🤗🪷
Beautiful info. Thank you! 🎉
So enjoy your podcasts Jim! You are AMAZING!
This week and fourth l will focus on Kaizen and ganbaru❤❤
Thanks JimKwik all the way from Tanzania

Thank you so much for this…I really appreciate hearing this today….I’m two weeks into a six week minor (toes on both feet) surgery! I woke up feeling lazy and sluggish…it’s also below zero today. I am trying to maintain some sense of routine and exercise. I can do my balance board👏 and modified PT exercises. I will be listening to this several times today! Thanks Jim

I have so much gratitude for you and your work because I was beginning to think I’m having a cognitive and energetic decline because of age? But that’s not it because I know ppl much older than I am who are still sharp and full of Life 🧐
I couldn’t figure it out 🤔 but you helped me realize I need to recalibrate by getting back into nature and reconnecting 💡
Thx a million 🎉😊❤
Thank you for your videos and podcasts Jim. Your speech is clear and slow enough which makes it easier to follow and to understand. 😊 I have now hope to improve my brain. ❤

Sometimes I felt I have no freedom if I always focus in work. I felt bored and stressed that's why I can't avoid using social media because it helps me to forget stress and boring for while but sometimes I am addicted to it.

I want to express my gratitude to Jim Quick for sharing valuable insights and experiences from Japanese culture and philosophy. These methods not only help overcome laziness but also bring positive changes in life and personal development. Let's apply these teachings to achieve success and happiness in our daily lives. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and I look forward to hearing more valuable content in the future.
Love all of these but my favorite favorite has to be Shinrin Yoku. Must go forst bathing again where the trees hug you back 🤗

Excellent topics. Arigatoo gozaimashita.
Thanks from India.... I have been following this kaizen method
Thank you dear Jim, it was (and is) very helpful. 🙏🏻💐
For me: all of them are good but most of all KAIZEN. 👌🏻
This is awesome. There any more resources on these Japanese philosophies? Would love to learn more about this
Thank you!

You are amazing😊please add a vedio towards consistency
This is just what I was looking for ✨😆
this is amazing brother thanks for sharing catch up soon my man
Thanks🕊
Thank you for your help 💖🌟💖🌟💖🌟💖🌟💖🌟💖🌟💖🌟💖🌟💖🌟💖
thank you
Thanks ❤
I heard of Kaizen before but I like your explanation. Improving 1% everyday will allow you to improve 365% in a year if you add it all up.
Really good.
This account is chef's kiss!!!!!!
The kaizen way is 🙌🏻
I have deleted Instagram for 4 months until the exam is completed.
After tonight's youtube procrastination i am also deleting youtube premium.
Thank you Jim, you are my 2034 guru ❤
Im thinking about deleting most of my unnecessary social medias too but the other half of me is trying to convince me that they could be helpful, how is it going for you ? Is it really helping you out
I ENJOY THIS VIDEO.
I'd like you to add "there's good in leftovers," although it's not a means of overcoming laziness. I know we don't have a good image of leftovers, but the Japanese appreciate leftovers, and sometimes it actually leads to good results.
is there background music? love it
That will help eliminate laziness. Cosmos greetings to all and I think to all all the blessings of life.
epic video Jimmy
New sub! 🎉❤
Hi Jim. I remember a while back you did a video on this mist inhaler machine. What is the name of it?
Thank you for sharing an all what you've been doing and helping others in life 🙋🏽♀️♥️🕯️✍️💡🇵🇦🌎💯👣👣👣💥💣💣💣👌👌🔔👋👋👍👍
amazing👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great
My biggest problem is to maintain consistency. How do I achieve it.
Kaizan
Daily.
By being consistent 😂😂😂
Pleasure seeking in its myriad forms is probably wrecking your consistency. Shut off the pleasure. If you're not doing what you think you should do, do nothing instead of falling into pleasure seeking. Boredom is your friend. In boredom, achievement will rise.
Use a habit tracker
Done ✔️
Wabi sabi. My new mantra. ❤
Please make a beginners video for adhd how to learn things and excel in academics 😢😢
Beautiful
.
Thanks Kwik
His voice tickles my brain like asmr
i love Japanese people. They r full of wisdom🙏
