I receive hate for sharing my testimony. My testimony is one of faith. No matter what we are facing God will give us strength to over come. Even though every month I struggle to pay rent and I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I keep faith. I’m ashamed and discouraged. These past three years have been hard on me. Since suffering a heart attack two years ago and my on going battle with lupus. As a single mom I’m overwhelmed. My sons are autistic and have problems with social communication and interactions but they are thriving now that I’m homeschooling them. Due to me homeschooling them my hours to work are limited like my finances. I’m constantly in fear of homelessness. But I STILL TRUST IN YOU LORD. Faith over fear! ❤
Why do you comment this same fear of homelessness on so many Christian videos. It either makes it seem like a spam channel or you very much need to seek God for faith if you are struggling so often with this fear. Read the story of the shulamite woman in second kings. Pay attention to how she speaks regarding her situation. God bless.

One Sunday morning in 2001 at Brownsville Assembly Of God, I was in the front row off to the right. I'll never forget it. John was at the pulpit speaking, and he pointed at me as I felt my spine bend in my lower back, and he says God's healing there. Then he started pointing at different people all over the church saying and there, there, there, there. He was pointing at people in the balcony and everything. God was showing him every healing that was taking place, one after the other, all in a matter of seconds. It's one of my favorite memories to this day.

I want to follow Him, be obedient to Him but I find that difficult if I’m not hearing Him! I have the secret place. I arise early in the morning and go out to pray as Jesus did. Yes, Lord I have been searching for a solar job for over two years, taking part in interactive webinars, attending conferences, networking and reading article on LinkedIn. It is baffling to me that to date I have not landed a job in the specialty of agrivoltaics solar energy, but I am trusting by Faith in the Lord's Timing. Please pray that next week as I attend the Solar Farm Summit 4 day of conference , expo, bus tour of a research site, that I will be bold and courageous with confidence as I talk to solar experts which are divine connections the Lord has prepared in advance to cross my path. Lord give me the words to say and discernment on which seminars to attend and which expo booths to visit. Help me to rest well at night so that I have mental clarity and focus next week. blessings to the prayer warriors.

I might be hearing God but I’m constantly second guessing myself and feeling unworthy of His presence. Sometimes I’m on my knees sobbing, begging Him to make Himself so obvious to me because I feel so distracted. I have 4 sons so I’m sure you understand but they are all under the age of 6. My husband works all week and it’s just me. I feel so blessed but I just struggle to know if it’s God or not. I’m so desperate to be with Him. I pray all day, through everything, without ceasing. I’m in the word every morning for an hour, always. I feel like a lot of my prayers are answered but when I hear people say they spoke in tongues or they actually experienced God, I feel so so so so badly that I want that. I just don’t understand how…or if that’s happened. I feel like I would know 😢
I have the same issues. One minute thinking it is God speaking and the next doubting it/wondering if it is my own thoughts or Satan disguised as an angel of light. When in doubt I just keep reading the Word and believing. A lot of times I get words or songs in my spirit in the middle of the night (Still not 100% sure if it is God every time). Will be praying for you ❤

Love to my brothers and sisters, and a word of caution here when it comes to 'properly showing reverence to God.' So far, only Jesus shows God true and total reverence. It's not something we can muster on our own, and setting that up as a requirement to enter the (omni)presence of the Father is setting ourselves up for disappointment or delusion. What's worse, this concept could suggest that God's loving interaction with us depends on us approaching Him rightly--on us putting on the right performance, the right face, the right mood--as if his awesomeness in any way depends on mankind acknowledging it, never mind paying Him "due respect." What is the respect due to Perfection? More than this brain can wrap around, I'll say that! THANKFULLY....Jesus has shown us the Father, only Jesus, and He continues to do so even now. Indeed, only Jesus shows proper "respect" to the Father and he does it ON OUR BEHALF! Even as we're crucifying Him. Holy moly, right? And the good news continues to pour in... Every single person has open access to the Father through His Son. Our doing it right (e.g., paying reverence) has absolutely no bearing on His Being and Presence. However, once we've accepted our free salvation in Christ, and as we begin to understand a little bit about who He is and how He sees us (i.e., pure love), we are moved to participate as disciples, little Christs in imitation. This is not what saves us--that's done--but I've found that acts of discipleship help me walk and talk with Jesus and thus progressively help me see the Father more clearly. The more I call out, the more Jesus seems to answer. He's always there, but answering His call seems to be a positive feedback loop. And I won't deny that if I fall into a spell of poor discipleship, I begin feeling more distant from Him. I would like to posit to you that that "distance" is one of my own sin-muddled perception and not the reality. Cheers and Joy and Love to ALL, even the irreverent, through Jesus Christ!
the fact you FEEL bad without holy spirit is a good sign, youre just playing in the world and the world gives you nothing in the long term.......stop your sin, ask him to help you, REPENT, and slide back into his awesome blossom presence, like balsam for our souls
We are in this together, I have as well. First things first, PRAY. Secondly, read the word. That is by far the best way to get back on track. Take notes, if that's your thing. If you're feeling empty because you are having trouble hearing Him, read the bible out loud. Hear him speak to you by reading His word out loud. It's that simple. I'm praying for you ✝️.

This teaching has helped me. The analogy you shared is eye opening. I do not hear God speak to me; been praying about it, and it's frustrating at times. I'm told that I hear God but I don't recognize His voice ..... 😢
That’s what I’m always told too. I sometimes wonder if what some hear is even him. Or maybe God doesn’t say what they think. I always find myself in end times conversations and studies. Perhaps that’s just what he’s choosing to speak to me. All I see in the written Word is that we shouldn’t worry so much about personal worldly things. But is this him? I don’t know. Seems like everyone else hears personal things. So I’ve begun to personalize what I hear. Maybe eternal life is what he’s speaking more often than not.
I hate this topic because the devil has tricked me into believing I was hearing the voice of God many many years ago. Now my heart longs to know God's voice and presence but I have so much fear that it isn't Him. It is truly tormenting. 😭😭😭 I need to know it is Him and am desperate for victory in this area God please help

I have heard His voice before in life but backslid into drug use a few times in my life. I have been off of everything since November of last year and have been doing everything I know, (reading, praying, fasting, praying a lot in tongues.) But that close relationship and trust in knowing it is God speaking sadly alludes me still. It makes me feel unwanted and damaged because of my past sins.
I've been wondering if I would find someone else to help me with biblical truth like Timothy Keller did (so that I can grow AND teach). I "randomly" found you in VRA. I wouldn't have known who you are, except that a few weeks ago my wife decided to purchase "Bait of Satan" and I was like 'hey I heard of that book a long time ago...but I never read it. So I got it on audible myself. Then when deciding to end my VRA membership I said "well let me look thru here to make sure there isn't something I really need. The I saw your name on the VRA training and I said, "is that the same guy?" It was. So I came here and...God did what he does. Thank you for your service and obedience.
I don’t think God is going to go ahead and tell you it’s okay to marry someone just because that’s what you want Him to say. I don’t think He would steer anyone in the wrong direction because He loves us and wants the best for us. That’s His very nature. Now if someone chooses to disobey and marry someone regardless of what God says then that’s their free will and they will have to live with the consequences of that decision. But God will never tell anyone to do anything that’s not in their best interest. He loves us too much.

However, once we've accepted our free salvation in Christ, and as we begin to understand a little bit about who He is and how He sees us (i.e., pure love), we are moved to participate as disciples, little Christs in imitation. This is not what saves us--that's done--but I've found that acts of discipleship help me walk and talk with Jesus and thus progressively help me see the Father more clearly. The more I call out, the more Jesus seems to answer. He's always there, but answering His call seems to be a positive feedback loop. And I won't deny that if I fall into a spell of poor discipleship, I begin feeling more distant from Him. I would like to posit to you that that "distance" is one of my own sin-muddled perception and not the reality. Cheers and Joy and Love to ALL, even the irreverent, through Jesus Christ!

We are in this together, I have as well. First things first, PRAY. Secondly, read the word. That is by far the best way to get back on track. Take notes, if that's your thing. If you're feeling empty because you are having trouble hearing Him, read the bible out loud. Hear him speak to you by reading His word out loud. It's that simple. I'm praying for you ✝️.

This teaching has helped me. The analogy you shared is eye opening. I do not hear God speak to me; been praying about it, and it's frustrating at times. I'm told that I hear God but I don't recognize His voice ..... 😢
That’s what I’m always told too. I sometimes wonder if what some hear is even him. Or maybe God doesn’t say what they think. I always find myself in end times conversations and studies. Perhaps that’s just what he’s choosing to speak to me. All I see in the written Word is that we shouldn’t worry so much about personal worldly things. But is this him? I don’t know. Seems like everyone else hears personal things. So I’ve begun to personalize what I hear. Maybe eternal life is what he’s speaking more often than not.

I hate this topic because the devil has tricked me into believing I was hearing the voice of God many many years ago. Now my heart longs to know God's voice and presence but I have so much fear that it isn't Him. It is truly tormenting. 😭😭😭 I need to know it is Him and am desperate for victory in this area God please help

@@turnttraprecords5214 I have repented of absolutely every known sin and ask God to reveal any thing in my heart still. I have heard His voice before in life but backslid into drug use a few times in my life. I have been off of everything since November of last year and have been doing everything I know, (reading, praying, fasting, praying a lot in tongues.) But that close relationship and trust in knowing it is God speaking sadly alludes me still. It makes me feel unwanted and damaged because of my past sins.
Develop a habit of reading his word daily,he speaks in the still small voice of His word

I've been wondering if I would find someone else to help me with biblical truth like Timothy Keller did (so that I can grow AND teach). I "randomly" found you in VRA. I wouldn't have known who you are, except that a few weeks ago my wife decided to purchase "Bait of Satan" and I was like 'hey I heard of that book a long time ago...but I never read it. So I got it on audible myself. Then when deciding to end my VRA membership I said "well let me look thru here to make sure there isn't something I really need. The I saw your name on the VRA training and I said, "is that the same guy?" It was. So I came here and...God did what he does. Thank you for your service and obedience.
I don’t think God is going to go ahead and tell you it’s okay to marry someone just because that’s what you want Him to say. I don’t think He would steer anyone in the wrong direction because He loves us and wants the best for us. That’s His very nature. Now if someone chooses to disobey and marry someone regardless of what God says then that’s their free will and they will have to live with the consequences of that decision. But God will never tell anyone to do anything that’s not in their best interest. He loves us too much.
