I could watch the letters over and over, brings me back to the good ole days of board slides, waxed curbs, running from the police for skating the parking lots with "no skateboarding" signs. rest in peace Grosso !!!!
This is great. I got half a foot and landed it. Felt pretty good. Fell the next time....Just kind of layed there....took forever for me to get up. Good laugh for the younger kids.

I don't. Know what it is,but from the moment these here letters came out i was hooked,maybe its an era thing,but i think its grosso's attitude,the dude is a tru o.g.a 80's vert viking,and i remember being a dumb teen who almost shaved my brows after the powell movie,...almost.but when these things come out ev week im watchin,tappin the screen saying to myself damn these thing's r 2 short,hoping for a long one!but i think its because Jeff was a screw up just like so many of us were,and was able to straighten his shit out,and he brought an extra 40 lbs around his wast!and he still jams!hope the letters don't stop!they hold weight in my book!!

of all the tricks ever invented i still love gettin air the most, possibly a tie with the invert which i would do everywhere, curbs ramps anything LOVE that trick and Bobby Valdez lived right next door to my best friend in junior high when i was a kid, I was so obsessed with that trick and still am.
Always a highlight of the day when you post one of these, next to actually skating ;) Grosso's commentary was the best thing about the last bowl contest, just as an aside :D

I saw him at a demo with Rob Roskopp in central California back then. Just big temporary ramps in a parking lot. He did this huge air from one ramp to another one set up near it, locals talked about it for years

I am 60 years old now but in my teens into my early 30s I skated a lot. I had frontside airs wired over coping but my backside airs not that great. I could pull them off every now and then.
Glad he mentioned lincoln, that dude was 2 foot plus above anyone in that time period.
Another ep that feels like it could have been twice as long. Lot of other vert rippers that could have been mentioned (McGill, Staab, Nolder, Groholski, so many others).
I was at the Crest when T Mag went well over 10 feet out.....feel the steel....
