Relative to your comments about home/family protection from those without an invitation.. I enjoyed the hand-lettered sign nailed to a tree beside the long driveway of a distant relative outside of Washington, D.C. which said simply, "NO WARNING SHOTS".

And you are absolutely correct that guns and all other tools do nothing by themselves. They are good or evil depending solely upon who is using them and how they are being used. Well-spoken, well-said, and absolutely correct.
Thanks for sharing your opinion about keeping on-hand what is, or may likely be, useful in the future. Like I remind my wife, "That's not junk! Those are dreams!"
Greatly appreciate your exampled distinction between "things" and assaulters. I understand that these important distinctions do not come from the drinking horn, but do come from deep- seated common sense. I wish more people could understand this or would acknowledge that there is a difference... a big, real difference. I expect they find it easier to blame "things" than to grapple with the real problem of assaulters. And some foolishly (want to) believe that "safe zones" create safety for the general public. Cultures throughout history have created "gods" to explain (and thus remove the fear of) what they do not understand. So people try to legislate against "things" to avoid the fear of what they do not understand (assaulters).
I subscribed to your channel for the build videos, which are fantastic. But the main reason I subscribe to RUclips channels is because they allow me to share other people’s thoughts, interests, cultures, feelings, and opinions in other parts of the world. So I enjoy hearing your answers and opinions. Thanks for sharing. The only problem I had was that after hearing that background music for an hour, I wanted to run screaming from my house and jump off a very high hill. Fortunately I talked myself out of it and had a beer instead😋

Thanks PAG I live in FL USA and they just past two gun laws that are real bad, people under 21 years old can't buy a long gun, and we now have a three day weighting period on all gun sales. For example, the new Canik 9mm pistols come with two 20-round magazines (here in the US). Would you be able to own such a pistol/magazine combination in Austria? When I used to softly run my fingers over my daughters faces as they went to sleep, they called it "Softing". They would say "Soft me Daddy, soft me".I'm with you on the terminology Assault Rifle. Also calling all guns a weapon. The left has been so good at drilling those words into everyone's heads, that our game commission uses it when describing what we can use to take game. I've written our game commission several times asking about how tough our turkeys are that we need to use a weapon to take them.

Be careful, there is always a chance your AR15 (and all of mines) can become FULLY SEMIAUTOMATICALLY lol. It's also weird considering I've owned ARs for many years now and none of them have assaulted anyone, except for some steel targets.
