@@paulburton210 you would be correct, no company has perfected the human element for pushes and pulls, that would be a neat trick. BUT - unlike your traditional putters that torque, this one feels like it's guiding itself while the face is staying square to your path/arc. You WILL start your putts on line more often, and by doing that you'll actually improve your putting. Fact... Why all the !!! BTW? Can't a putter company bring something to golf that is truly a difference maker for us mortals?

I went in to golf Galaxy to buy the Mezz Max because my current putter is a mallet but after practicing with both the DF3 was more stable, sounded better and came with the pistol grip I wanted. I also loved the gimme hole.
Rocking the OG DF 2.1 it's pretty magic
I got it last week it's fantastic
I'm using a 2018 Tommy Armour impact # 3 mallet putter that I picked up used for $50 a few years ago. It beat all the top brands in the 2018 and 2019 My Golf Spy putter testing.
I got the original from new and been loving it for a few years now

I have a LAB Mezz XL broomstick and I tend to drop at least one 20-30 footer per round.
I picked up my new LAB Mezz.1 2 weeks ago, with my old putter I averaged 31.21 putts per round over the last 12 months. My first competitive round with the Mezz I had 29 putts..
Really love the Mezz! Will probably switch from my Scotty that’s 10 years old now. I think it’s time!
Love the DF2.1 and only got rid of it due to traveling. Trying to keep it safe while the baggage handlers toss your clubs around is difficult. Ended up with the Mezz Max and haven’t looked back. I putted better with the 2.1 but once I’ve gone though a year and half with the Mezz Max I didn’t want to change back but the DF3 could change my mind.
A brilliant demonstration of the lie angle balance concept… I wish more manufacturers adopted lie angle balance….. because I think toe hang putters are flawed.

Most difficult putter brand to find/demo in mainland Europe. Love the vid, thank you for showing the new DF3.
Correct, especially in NL. I took a risk last year to do a remote fitting (tip: if you live in an old apartment, try and project a crossline laser on the wall behind you, the guys at LAB loved it) which LAB picked up very quickly and I found out there was a outlet version with the same specs. Still not cheap by any means and not in my favorite color but I could live with that. If you are good at reading a line but rubbish at getting the ball rolling on it like me with a regular putter, I'd say LAB is a no brainer. I have not looked back since, the Mezz1 works great for me... almost have eradicated 3-putts from my card, and dropping the occasional long one nowadays. And surely less swearing not squaring the face up, which I did so much in the past.
Yep, i have the original version and it putts so well, but i stopped using it because of exactly what you said. Just got a new pxg but …….

I have the Mezz Max and now the DF 2.1. I love them both but the 2.1 even more than the Max.
I couldn't give a damn about the looks, it's the results that count.
I game the lab blade, it’s incredible. The hardest part is learning to never manipulate your stroke.
The lab putters work, as long as you let it work.
If you don't manipulate your strok!e that works on any putter 🤣
You need to try a Honu putter
I wanted a Mezz Max badly got fitted and all but it wasn't as good as the one in this video.
I have had mu LAB for 2 years and I love it... but yeah it gets many comments!!! But it works 😇
I have never seen one in person and if I did it probably wouldn’t be left handed!
I’ve had a DF putter for a year now. I now regularly putt 29 times per round, down from 34. It maybe ugly, but boy it’s a great bit of kit.

What specific grip was on the DF3 you were using. Which size press grip was it?

People spend more on a driver every couple of years . Can’t wait to put a mezz 1 in the bag.
The big question is how does it compare to the DF2.1 for stability and forgiveness? It’s fine looking better but it has to produce the same performance as the 2.1.

I’ve been fitted a number of times for 68 degrees (lie) with conventional putters.

I can use any putter in the shop and putt everything, get me on a green and I can't putt to save my life 😢😢

I'm livid that after 27 holes that my Bettinardi BB 28 Black Out has lost its finish
£600! And apparently according to Scottsdale and Bettinardi it's wear and tear and is outside the 28 day guarantee period
Reduces my confidence in paying as much as a driver or half a set of irons on a putter.
I would love to try this putter but the customer service between Scottsdale and Bettinardi absolutely suck over this.
I guess I'll just keep missing 4 footers with one of my other 6 putters. 😂

I think there's something called style and function that is at work with this putter
It's a wonderfully engineered functional piece of equipment that by design itself becomes beautiful

They don't look half as cool as the 80' & 90's cars but they are beautiful in their design and function
On club Champion on RUclips They interview the owner ,really nice man ….this is a game changer ,NOT like pxg who think they have revolutionised golf ….lab putters have took time to win over golfers ,, but I think this firm will over take all the other brands ….will get mine sat 👍
How about something off beat. Some DTC Irons, Maltby, Takoma, or maybe something a bit more known Sub70? I'm interested in the comparisons from the more name brands? I expect they're pretty good overall, just want a review that isn't being paid for.

Doesn’t the SIK putter have toe hang and the DF is face balanced so naturally the sik would open
The DF is not Face balanced, it is lie angle balanced. A face balanced putter in the revealer would do the same as the SIK
I think that LAB putters r now considered a big brand!
New one looks fantastic but the size of the original doesn't put me off.
The only thing that would concern about the size of the original and this one is if it got snagged because of it's size and shape in the grass if you were putting off the fringes or false fronts
Playing a lot of links golf having to use a putter off the green is common.
"This is so much better looking"....it's literally the same putter, but smaller lol. I actually really like lab putters and may be either getting this or a mezz.

Why does lab golf compare all types of putter other than a copy of their putter in the machine. I’ve seen a toe hang, a face balanced, but not a centre shafted face balanced, which I’m assuming clearly offers a direct correlation. Purposing choosing not to do so, only suggests intent.
If the putter is not balanced to the lie angle, it will twist when you move it, centershafted my twist less, but it will twist.

I prefer my Spider putter, that lab putter looks like something I would be embarrassed to show to my fellow golfers😊

It looks like the top part of an Egyptian ankh - the symbol of life. Referring to the iron that you demoed yesterday, and thought was ugly, this is probably the ugliest putter that I have ever seen. However, if it does the job, it's beautiful.

Nobody is going to be putting holding that contraption so why does that matter at all. When your gripping your putter with your "hands" because thats how we all putt the putter head is not going to be moving. I understand the Lie, angle, balance thing but that display doesn't help me at all to choose a putter.
You obviously don't understand Lie, Angle, Balance... I didn't either. The tiny amount of torque we feel when the putter is gripped and moving absolutely affects how we react. It can't be much, but when force is applied to a putting stroke the weight of the head feels different based on it's balance profile while it's trying to torque in motion. Our hands counter that feeling, maybe it's only a pound of force in the putter head, maybe less, maybe more? That small amount of weight (torque) in motion causes us to react. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. The better you are at controlling that variable, i.e. PROS, the better putter you probably are. LAB putters remove that variable and it's noticeable when the putter head is in motion.

Revealer is so dumb….the second you grip the putter and apply even 1% of force you’re affecting face angle 🤦🏻♂️🤡
@jaychu3850 What you're not taking into account is that with traditional face balanced and toe hang putters we are required to manipulate and control the rotation (torque) of the face when it moves (albeit not much). I promise you that 1% you think doesn't matter actually does. We ALL react to that feeling when the putter swings back and in transition, LAB simply removes that variable and that's what the revealer is showing.
Great video. I placed an order today. Blind buy 🫣 been playing Scotty and odyssey blades last couple of years. Last couple of weeks I’ve been having trouble with the putter. To many 3 putt and lack of confidence. Big changes coming up. 😂

For me, the LAB mallots are just too ugly, period. Too far from the traditions of golf. They remind me of star trek space ships. Offset grips are unnecessary; most putters just put a bit of offset in the hosel. The fact they work ... means I wish USGA would just ban these. Pretty soon they will put AI chips in golf clubs, with cameras, sensors, etc. Will 3-4 less putts really add that much to the enjoyment of a game? Also, means golfers can buy improved performance and ones without $$ cannot. Ugh.

Believing the clubs makes a difference in your game is so stupid. First have a sub 5 Handicap then talk about clubs.
See that’s why I put a heavier weight in the toe of my Scottie Cameron. It evens out the weight from the heel.
Wish content makers would stop saying the DF2.1 is ugly. It’s not its clean and confidence inspiring especially when compared to Taylormade spiders and plumbers necks etc. the DF3 does look nice too.
