So much great information in this. Might have been one of the best interviews I’ve seen with a pro. You asked some really great questions and Scott provided some great insight. Dude is a pro
Loved the fact to that he asked you questions as well. Good information you gave as well. Hopefully one of these days I'll be able to get fitted an find the clubs and shafts that work right for me. 🤙
I actually got fitted first. One of the issues I was having was that I was not able to get a good swing because my irons were way too small for me. So by getting fit for a new set of Irons I was actually able to start working on my swing without hurting myself.
im a terrible golfer. went and hit these at the golf galaxy a few weeks ago. was getting around 105 avg clubhead speed and was consistency slicing lol. Best feeling, best sounding, longest distance, and least slicing was the AI smoke. I didnt get to hit the sim2 max which i wanted to try. I know its old but ive always liked the look of that head
Great video ! Scott’s Comments about Belief are Great to hear 👍Really struck a chord with me ! The Casual back and forth banter is Awesome 👏Thx keep’em coming 🤙
I love it, and I know no one will ever do this but I feel like a randomized scientific version of something like this could be so much cooler. If we want to "use the data" it would be nice to try to account for a lot of biases (fatigue, brand preference changing swing etc)
I haven't seen any videos on RUclips supporting the idea that the longer shaft creates more distance. Even choking down doesn't always reduce the distance.
A longer shaft on a driver can potentially increase clubhead speed, which may result in more distance. However, it also requires more control to maintain accuracy. So, it depends on your swing mechanics and consistency.
Just found your channel and I’m very impressed with your in depth reviews with irons and drivers. I plan on getting some new clubs this winter and I these videos are so helpful. Keep it up brother
Really wish there was a guy as knowledgeable as you locally, that I could get a fitting with. And I’m in Augusta, GA even…you would think Golf Meca….its not. Best we have is a Dicks or Edwin Watts with college kids working there
I visited the Edwin Watts when I was down there a couple weeks ago. The Wilson rep was in there doing fittings. You could ask them when each manufacturer will be there and they can fit you. Only downside is not being able to hit all the brands but you will get an as good or better fitting than I could give you.
Thank you, great interview! Some editing feedback though, the shake graphic during the hits makes it difficult to watch, especially when you fast play 4 hits and only do the last one. Just one editors opinion. Thanks again!
Brain rot has you. He’s asking is a pro with a consistent shot can feel a difference in the technologies with not only data but all 5 senses as well. That’s why they’re all the same degree same shaft. Not guessing which drink is which because he’s blindfolded.
would be interested in some less known drivers brands. I am a huge fan of bridgestone, usually low spin drivers. had a honma last year and back to a stone this year.
I feel like this would be a great video if he didn't know what drivers he was hitting and was only told the data at the end. That way there would be no bias
Heal up quick Brandon. We need that driver bracket back so Cobra can go for the threepeat. I know you called it a tie last year but a win is a win…even if it was close.
We must've forgotten to remove the old link. We're in the process of building it on a new platform.. you can sign up at newninegolfclub.com Nice work. Got some natural club head speed hey.
@@NewNineGolf went from 220 drive that maybe one out of five id hit only had access to woman's clubs then friend gave me ping eye 2s (orange ) the purchased a Taylor m3 440 and m6 hybrid now were here :D 350 Ill try and make it out to the range and get some recoding's for review if this is still on the table
It was interesting seeing the results from the Wilson Carbon. I recently watched a scratch coach checking out the Carbon and the Titanium, and he found he got more distance with the Titanium. So it would have been interesting to see him hit the Titanium in this test
I can't believe you left out PXG in this test. In my opinion, Gen 5 and forward are very compettiive in performance, sound, feel, and aesthetics. I currently play with a 9° 0311 Gen 5 head, but I will not hesitate to upgrade to a Gen 6 or Black Ops head once the price drops a bit.
I did a fitting with the Gen 6. ruclips.net/video/zYzB2JUcE4s/видео.html They've moved a more direct to consumer strategy so most of shops don't have their fit carts. Might do a direct to consumer driver comparison down the road here.
Cleveland and Srixon are under the same umbrella, Dunlap sports. So it seems the focus is ,at the tour level anyway, Srixon for woods and irons and Cleveland for wedges. I'm sure they make great drivers as they use the same rebound frame but I think they're made for golfers needing higher launch and spin.
I could watch this type of club comparison everyday. Scott Secord’s swing freakin rips!
So much great information in this. Might have been one of the best interviews I’ve seen with a pro. You asked some really great questions and Scott provided some great insight. Dude is a pro
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Ya Scott is great. I could watch his swing all day too. Haha.

Yay I just got an AI smoke! Nice to see it performed well with the pro. Yes I know I know he already plays with Callaway.
I actually love the screen shake. Don't stop doing it!
Thanks! 👊
Yah I just bought the callaway td before watching this video haha stoked
Haha sick. Enjoy your new club. 🚀

Put the guy in a 6 degree head that was a game changer for me as I was a 3000 spin guy. Now at 6 I can keep it around 2100-2400
Need a Scott what’s in the bag!
Good idea. Maybe we do a WITB comparison video. 🤔
@@NewNineGolfthat would be awesome

This was one of the best New Nine videos to date! So much good information!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. 🍻
Love the twist!Would love to someone hit these same clubs with a 100-105mph swing speed!!!
Get well soon brother 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Thanks man. Appreciate it. 🤕 I'll try to bring a variety of guests in future videos.
So good, really enjoyed this. Great job guys.
Thank you! 🙏
Fitted for the Cobra Darkspeed LS absolute 💣 .Hope you guys inAlberta get spring soon .Golf season has certainly arrived on Vancouver island👊🍻
Thats awesome. Good to hear. Soon for us in Alberta! haha. 🍻
Got mine this week. Played with it yesterday for the first time and it’s an absolute rocket
Loved the content. I’m just not loving the visual effect when he hits the ball, I would’ve loved to see the swing purely

How are you going to title a video questioning if he can tell the difference between all of them if you tell him what they are
Thanks. Just clicked and leaving. You saved me 10 min lol

Reading comprehension seems to be escaping you my friend
Shut up Karen it’s a sick video literally goes through the newest drivers with a pro
Should’ve include the pxg black ops
Really enjoyed this Brandon! Looking forward to the summer
Thanks Scotty! Can't wait!
The monitor setup must be off. Hard to believe he is launching everything so consistently off line left. He has such a consistent swing.
I just got srixon zx5 ls and love it!
Great driver. Enjoy. 🚀
could you do the a taylor made qi iron review
Really enjoyable, really informative 👏
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. 🍻
Really cool to see this from a pro's perspective. Well done.
Thanks Brendan. 🍻
What is the wrist band he has on?
would be interested in some less known drivers brands. I am a huge fan of bridgestone, usually low spin drivers. had a honma last year and back to a stone this year.
Tougher to get our hands on but I'll try to reach out to Bridgestone. We do have a Krank driver video coming soon so that should be fun.
@NewNineGolf Nice. my buddy has the Krank. agreed bridgestone is hard to find. get most my stuff from Japan. have the Tour B XD 3 driver.
The Callaway Paradym AI Smoke TD is also far-and-away the best driver for me …. and I am far from a pro golfer!
Good video. No driver bracket video this year ?????
Thank you. Ya Im just healing up but wanted to get you guys a video in the mean time.
Where were the Mizuno driver's?
I feel like this would be a great video if he didn't know what drivers he was hitting and was only told the data at the end. That way there would be no bias
please stop editing camera shake on EVERY swing. Cool once or twice but its annoying after that. Thank you
No need for 10 shots with a pro.
Why do you keep saying "Right?" in the middle and end of every sentence?
Cuz it's king. Right? 😂
Good point! Didn't notice that - will work on it
Kai'li... "Kylie" 🫡

Thanks Steve. Haha ya the Cobra Darkspeeds are definitely up there from what I've seen so far.
Ironically, I think a slightly longer shaft would work in his benefit.
Holy sh!t...340! Must be windy in there! Scott is so good!
link for the new nine golf community dosnt work any ideas, also i can hit over 350 on range new golfer been out 18 times in my life

Should have put the 10k ping in .. its legit the lst but way more forgiving
Interesting. Ya I still have to try that. Didn't think it'd be lower spinning.

Do cleveland drivers ever get played on tour? I like the xl (yet to use the xl2) but have never seen them anywhere, other than my bag..

I don't recall you saying what ball you used. I think trying at least 3 or 4 balls with various attributes could be beneficial.
Pro V1.
what about the Black OPS PXG?
Were all the drivers swingweight the same?
They were all the stock fittings heads but were all pretty close to D4. We didn't make any adjustments ie, lead tape, hot melt or adjustable weights.
No Mizuno?
We have a hard time getting a hold of Mizuno drivers in our area for some reason. Will def try to get one for the driver bracket.
@@NewNineGolf yeah all good mate. Just wondering since they seem to be rarely included in driver comparisons! Love the content though
Thank you. Ya they're great drivers. Definitely underrated.
Would love to see this type of fitting with a cheaper ball, there is no way a 18hcp will use prov1 on the course
He is warmed up and so his club head speed is faster.
