I'll be making this soon! Just want to add that your recipes, all of them, have made my life so easy. I thank you for that. I have praised your recipes so much that when my extended family comes to eat, they ask, "Is this one of Dimitra's?"
How sweet!! I've been so overwhelmed with work these days but, this made my heart happy!! Thank you for being here and I'm so glad that you're enjoying these recipes with the special people in your live.
I had the exact same experience with the instant pot…was first intimidated to start using, then burned the bottom, but now fully comfortable using it and love it.
Lentil soup is my favorite! Thank you for instructions on making it in an Instant Pot, other brand multi-cooker or pressure cooker. Stray observation/compliment: your hands are very graceful and elegant.
All that was wonderful just like I used to do in Greece except Fraser and Mai used to cook it with cheese to put potato in it and used to hose whole whole garlic clothes but it was delicious and yours looks delicious to
This soup is absolutely delicious! It's filling and wonderful. I didn't use an instant pot, though. Just my regular soup pot and I used red lentils because I don't really like the green or brown ones. Thanks for this recipe!
Hello my friend thank you for sharing your delicious lentil soup recipe looks absolutely yummy thank you for sharing with us enjoy your day enjoy your family and God bless🙏😋💕🌏
I’ve used both a six-quart and an eight-quart, though not for this recipe specifically. The eight-quart takes longer to come to pressure so food cooked in it is cooked longer while it’s coming to pressure and doing a natural release. This matters for some things and not others. For this recipe I think it will be okay to use a six-quart using eight-quart instructions. If anything you might taste test and think it could simmer a bit longer rather than think it was overcooked. I’ve had some difficulty with eggs, which are more precisely timed, but not with soups/stews which are a lot more flexible and forgiving.
One of my favourite soups - 'fukyies'. Friends laugh whenever I say lentils in greek. I also add red capsicum when I saute the vegies and any other vegies in my fridge. I too add vinegar and virgin olive oil before serving. 💙🤍🇬🇷🇦🇺
You know I used my spooky thing to do to translate my messages well I’ve never put cheese in it it’s afterwards they used to put cheese in and I don’t understand this speaking machine it’s going completely gaga these days but it all looks very very nice but she’s put a whole potato or a couple of whole potatoes in it and whole cloves of garlic but it was delicious

I commend you for persevering with the instant pot - I couldn't do it now
Wonderful recipe. However, I've learned that lentils never require soaking, so I never have - quite successfully.
I love this soup. Just right for the cooler weather right now. Thanks!!! ❤️
It's still warm here but we're eating soups anyway :) haha!! Enjoy it!
@@DimitrasDishes Today it was only 11 degree Celsius plus a lot of rain here. I will do it for supper tonight and am really looking forward to it. 🤗

Can you please do some Greek coffee recipes? Different Greek drinks or coffee :)
I think she already has on this channel or search her website.
It's in the description.
Will this work in my 6 quart instant pot? Looks delicious!

I usually put in the vinegar at the start so it does not taste too acidic

Can I cook a soup in crock pot.?
Would you also be able to do this in a slow cooker? I know it will take longer, but what else?

If you did not use water from Greece, it will not be a Greek soup.
lol...
