Wondering why it needs to be cooked. Whenever I have bought the store brands I've just added some warm mother's milk. Can I don this with the old fashion oat "dust"' as well?
Read the ingredient difference. This DIY is less processed, the oat “dust” is highly processed and usually contains other weird ingredients. I know this won’t help you but in case others see this comment!

Hi Catherine, I love all your baby food recipes. Can I mix rice milk / almond milk in baby cereal for my 7 month old baby? My baby is not used to formula. Also I don’t want to put breast milk in the cereal.

+Shahid Naveed As long as your baby has had success with eating butter or cow's milk, then it should be fine to add here! Always check with your pediatrician and watch for allergic reactions when introducing new foods!

hi!! my baby hates oatmeal cereal. what can i do to make it flavourful? should i add salt or something sweet? i have tried apple with oats..he just tries to throw up. :(
Try adding another fruit puree that you know he already loves! And remember, it can take 10 times of them trying something before they start to like it!

Not true. Store bought Baby cereal is cooked then dehydrated then crushed to a fine powder. You can then throw it into something that doesnt need to be cooked. This method she shows has to be cooked.

No spices for babies. Thats not recomended.
At a certain age (months) it is fine to use spices just try not to all the time and no excessive sugars.
Thats not what the World Health Organization recommends.
