I ordered my 93, pre-production special order, been road racing it for over 30 years now, I have a 625 HP 383 LT1, the car still looks like new or better, for whatever that's worth, they are one hell of a machine, it will run with anything produced today.
@@explodifier6021 It's not very good, the car is built for road racing, has 3.25 ring and pinion, and like in this video the car just wants to spin in the lower gears, it is the worst set up possible for drag racing.
What transmission does that car have? I read the motor trend article on one and it said it came with a built 4l60e. But I see this one is a stick. Curious what they used. Badass car!!!
@@catfissh An LS6 can't be bored/stroked out to an 427 because it's max 3.91" bore. You would have to re-sleeve the block. These GMMG 427/454 cars used the C5R aluminum block.
@@24theMoney I've run with them a number of times, now my car is a nicely modified road course car, but not even in the same time zone, they're very quick, but no road racing macine.

This cant be the only video of this visit. Is there more or extended?
The only thing I don’t like is that steering wheel it’s so ugly!
My dream car.

This car is a T56 manual. Auto was a rare option. 3 Prototypes
1 Pilot / Drag Car
1 Prototype Convertible
30 Numbered cars
What spoiler and hood is that?
What a car, I wasn't even aware of this car, does it live at Berger Chevy, I race on a couple road courses not far from there.
The car is in the original owners collection.
Yes please!🎉
Does that come with a LS7? Looks awesome
These are C5R 427
@@gmmgregistry so is it’s pretty much a ls6 bored out to a 427? Cuz that’s pretty much all GM had to offer at the time right?
@@catfissh The Phase 3 and up cars like this are C5R’s.
Very nice ride

Cool cars, but a Tesla would keep up. What a world.
Close to the same power just distributed more efficiently what the difference between traction control then and traction control now
I road race a 93 Z28, Tesla's don't even come close, the Camaro is in a different league.
@@user-Dr.Track pack Tesla Plaid has done Nurburgring in 7:25. Not sure any 4th gen f-body would come close to that.
