It is stated several times that Aizen's rietsu is the peak for a shinigami. Urahara's intellect is more formidable, but Aizen is more powerful. That's why Urahara needed Ichigo. He played all of his pieces perfectly.
BIG BLACK DICK TRACY THE MONEY INSPECTOR He formulated a strategy to seal him after Aizen became basically unstoppable. He also was listed as a war potential specifically for his intelligence, and Aizen was listed for his massive amount of reiatsu. More specific Urahara was a threat because of "his ability to out maneuver his opponents by perpetually adapting his battle strategy." That basically a way of saying he has a very particular type of intelligence. He's highly analytical and adaptive, moreso than Aizen. That's why in the end he was the one who actually defeated Aizen and Aizen cursed him. Not a point of my argument, but if you even look at the swords they have, they say a lot about the characteristics of the shinigami. While Aizen's sword helps him manipulate through perception Urahara's helps him by literally changing things in his proximity to fit his situation. His shikai just changes itself to fit his situation. It's a statement of how much control his intellect gives him.
Urahara got lucky Aizen got weakened and careless. He got killed by a Sternritter . Urahara hasn't done anything that lives up to his hype. What perpetual adaptations?Lol
You did realise, that everyone in Nuevo Mumdo was deemed to be essential to Soul Society, as their most Powerful, Outside the Captain Commander, was in -Nuevo Mumdo, for Good Reason, because the whole arc was unnecessary
They are both geniuses, but I see the difference is that Urahara knows his limitations and is willing to work around it, while Aizen wants to remove all of his limitations. In that manner you can say that Aizan is the man who wants to become God and Urahara is the man who wants to control God (Ichigo). You can say that Aizen's greatest flaw is his ego, his arrogance that no one is his equal. In all of Soul Society Aizen felt that only Urahara was ever close to being his equal. But Urahara sees the whole picture he knew what Aizen was up to but he also knew he didn't have to fight Aizen alone. With time and careful planning Urahara was able to create a super group based around Ichigo to infiltrate Soul Society. In some ways you can say that the entire series was a chess match between Aizen and Urahara. You explained it accurately that a fight between the two of them would be action- reaction and would go on for 10+ issues. You also have to give Urahara credit, he had enough foresight to bring Mayuri into his squad to head the research and development. Aizen was too focused on his own goals that he failed to see Gin Ichimaru had plans to betray him all along. There are alot of difference but in terms of intelligence I would give it to Urahara because he is more trustworthy and he acknowledges the importance of team work, while Aizen treats everyone like his pawns, Aizen's followers fear him, while Urahara have allies who respect him. I have to stop here, because this can end up being an 10 page essay easily.
vantha doun honestly Aizen is more intelligent. urahara shows his ingenuity in more varied ways because he has a limit to his physical skills. so he must always have "another plan". not all of his plans succeed. nor can he predict every scenario. aizen on the other hand doesn't have a necessity to create multiple plans. his attributes in all other properties makes obsessive planning unnecessary. aizen also is much better at planning for the long game. afterall, he is immortal. so he will outlive his sentencing. also, aizen is the guy who learns from his mistakes.
Solid arguments. But Aizen was fully aware of Gin's intention for betrayal the whole time, but keeps him around anyway to produce the necessary amount of "fear" of being betrayed anytime for his ultimate transformation. Your conclusion about Aizen is still sounds though as to how he uses everybody to achieve his goals.
vantha doun Exactly how I would put it. Urahara knows that some things must be as they are, while Aizen wanted revolution against God, not realising that Urahara already controlled God. Aizen did have immense trust issues, Urahara did not and that is why as u said Urahara wins
J G yes he did. Shortly after Aizen subjugated the hogyoku he fought urahara. Aizen said that in all of the soul society only urahara's intellect surpassed his own.
This is not my final form askin's power was the most random abilities ever seen and pretty hard to comprehend let alone beat. Anybody else woulda flat out been slaughtered and urahara was still combatting him.
Team Rinne But that's the thing though... askin ran away and backed down from fighting mayuri even if we now know askins powers had nothing to do with light. askins powers weren't as random and extreme as perninda. pretty sure askin vs mayuri would have been an awesome fight. and askin would have lost that one.
There's no Superior Aizen and Urahara counters each other to an Infinite loop. It's always as Aizen *planned* , but Urahara is always ready for every *what if* scenario.
I love how Ichigo, the protagonist and hero of Bleach was nothing more than a tool used and moved around like a chess piece by Aizen and Urahara both. Aizen wants Ichigo to become a whetstone from which he can achieve perfection and godhood, while Urahara wants to use Ichigo to either weaken Aizen so his Kido could take effect, or stright up defeat Aizen if possible. And in the end, just as it seems Aizen won, Urahara comes in and clinches the win with his Kido. So I disagree that their ending was disappointing. Aizen seemed to be one step ahead of Urahara throughout the series, only to finally suffer a checkmate in the end. I think it was very fitting and poetic.
Ruki Rin-chan he gave Rukia a Gigai that would suppress her spiritual pressure and powers eventually dulling her down into a normal human, thus hiding the hogyoku forever.
But Urahara knew that Soul Society would find Rukia regardless, even if her powers dwindled down to a low level soul reaper's, because she was constantly with Ichigo and also because, since Ichigo's own powers awakened through Rukia's spiritual pressure acting as a catalyst, it would make sense that they could track Rukia by looking for Ichigo In other words, Urahara knew that Rukia was going to be found out and would be taken away. It is likely that Urahara knew that Ichigo was going to meet Aizen. He was also friends with Isshin so he also probably did know quite a bit about the Final Getsuga Tensho and he set all of this up so that, in the end, Ichigo would have to lose his spiritual power in order for Urahara to finally seal off Aizen. I doubt that it's that easy for Urahara to have created as many kido techniques as he did within the relatively short period of time that he had to fight Aizen and so, he probably had this planned for quite a while.
It makes sense, it really does. I consider it a possibility but I really doubt that he wanted the hogyoku to be hidden forever, given that his very nature would not allow that to happen. He really did it to pave a way to finally defeat Aizen and this just goes by the fact that he was aware of these other external factors you know, like Ichigo being a hybrid of Quincy, Shinigami and Hollow making him the perfect opponent for Aizen and someone who would be able to obtain the Final Getsuga Tensho (probably a reason why Isshin himself would not have attained it when he tried to get it, because it requires a perfect mix of all three beings, something which Ichigo was). Urahara also knew the inner workings of the Soul Society and knew what kind of decisions they would make with regards to certain crimes, given that he was in the 2nd division and was probably required to know alot of these things. In reality, his sending Ichigo to the Soul Society was, as tekking said, to clear up his name and reveal to everyone that Aizen was the bad guy, since he knew that Aizen would never ever let the opportunity slip by if he could get his hands on the hogyoku and he knew that Aizen would reveal his true intentions to the Soul Society, just as Urahara planned :)
I feel like the entire series went almost exactly as aizen planned. Aizen knew about yhwach long before he woke up, and had to come up with a way to defeat an almighty being that he himself couldn't match. So he came up with the idea of Ichigo. He created White and got isshin sent to the world of the living as part of his plot to create a human hollow quincey hybrid. Throughout the series he then set up opponents of gradually increasing strength for ichigo to overcome, just like he claimed in fake karakura town, ultimately culminating in god aizen himself. That's where his plan hit it's first snag. What he wanted was for ichigo to gain the powers he eventually has at the end of the series: true zanpakuto and bankai, complete mastery of both hollow and quincey powers allowing him to beat aizen, and then beat yhwach when he turns up. But that didn't happen. Instead, Ichigo attains a form never seen before in any other shinigami; final getsuga tenshou. Ichigo overcomes aizen, but he does it the wrong way and looses his powers. That's where kisuke comes in. Kisuke has kinda been playing the other side of this story the whole time. In every single arc, kisuke has always been on the same side as ichigo, but right up until fake karakura town never fought on his behalf. If kisuke just wanted aizen dead, he could have joined ichigo in attacking soul society and killed him before he gained a complete hogyoku. Instead, he sends in ichigo alone with just some weak plebs and yoruichi to guide him, as a training method of forcing ichigo to get stronger. Same deal in hueco mundo, kisuke *could* help by killing all the espada, but instead he makes ichigo do it alone to get him ready for the future. Weather kisuke was training ichigo for yhwach like aizen was, or if he was training him to fight aizen I'm not sure, but once aizen is sealed in muken, kisuke continues aizens plan by giving ichigo his powers back, then chucking him into a situation that leads to him attaining his true zanpakuto. By the end of the series, yhwach is dead, the soul king is dead, and everything aizen aspired to achieve has happened. Aizen is the one and only person in the whole series who is completely happy with the outcome of bleach. And for the entire series, aizen has lined up ichigos enemies in ascending order of strength to constantly push him, while kisuke has worked from the other side to constantly give ichigo a push in the right direction, but never do the job for him or actually help him out. I wouldn't even be surprised of the seal that stopped aizen was part of aizen and kisuke's plan, in case ichigo failed to reach god level and defeat aizen properly, kisuke would activate the seal "stopping" aizen and saving a now defenseless ichigo. Been rewatching the series from the start recently, and working with this theory so many of aizens and kisukes actions that seem completely nonsensical suddenly fit neatly into a much larger plan. Or I'm talking out of my ass and crediting kubo with much better writing skills than he possesses. Either or.
woah :o we are on the same opinion. I've watched a video about this theory and it caught me. I totally agree with this theory and it makes Aizen less than a high level intelligenced badass villain who just want to be the ruler of the world. It makes him like a hero who had to go to the wrong way to save the world....what he can rule lately xd
This has little to do with Kubo's writing skills and more to do with the time constraints constantly put on him to rush the series. As things stand while things like Aizen giving Ichigo small challenges at a time to get stronger and stronger is more than likely based in fact, the motives that most fan theories have are more than likely false, and sadly Kubo is the kind of writer that would have someone propose and ask about a fan theory that would work perfectly, but only be willing to say "Ah that would be really cool" Ect.
Man I get your point , but why didn't aizen do it himself instead of relying on ichigo , as we all know aizen was deemed special by yhwach due to his immense amount of reiatsu , which probably all we could know is Infinte and he has kyoka suigetsu as well , he could ve easily trained and defeat yhawch himself
urahara planted the hogyoku in an attempt to hide it forever. her gigai drained her spiritual enerygy which would have made her a normal human. as a normal human, aizen would not have been able to find her.
"I remember what Urahara said. 'I made no miscalculations. That was my greatest miscalculation of all.' And just like he predicted, the worst-case scenario came to pass. Man, we sure owe a lot to them. To Urahara, and also to Aizen, an' all. Let's go." - Hirako Shinji this comentary is best summary Aizen - Urahara situation
Mayuri is one of the weakest captains in my opinion I think the weakest maybe expect soi fon lol like for Christ sake his bankai was destroyed in one shot by Ishida
Aizen is more focused and straightforward than Urahara, and Urahara is is more far reaching in his plans. I mean just compare their plans. Aizen's plan we to create super-soldiers and take the thrown of ultimate power. Urahara's plan was to bait Aizen into attacking Ichigo's friend so that Ichigo and Aizen would be in conflict and Ichigo would either take Aizen out or weaken him to the point Urahara could finish him. As for Mayuri, he just likes playing with his experiments. At his heart Mayuri is just a bratty kid. The difference between Aizen's and Mayori's god complexes is that Aizen wanted to be the ruler god in charge of everything, while Mayori wanted to be the god who created life.
or in general, just creating anything. out of the 3 of them, mayuri has created like the most items and devices, as well as providing the technological advancement in SS. I think its more like mayuri doesnt have as much grand ideas/plans as much as the other 2 and is just fine making whatever he feels like making.
Honestly I think urahara had planned from the beginning to have Ichigo defeat Aizen. He sent the hogyoku back to the soul society to 1. Draw out Aizen and give him a power up (someone to fight Ichigo) 2. He put the hogyoku inside Rukia because he knew Ichigo would go after her, get strong by fighting the captains, and be forced to fight Aizen. Why else do you think urahara also conveniently create a method to remove the hogyoku from Rukia's soul without harming her. Like why else would he create a method to remove it and make it easy for Aizen to get a hold of. I think Ichigo peaked urahara's interest because remember how urahara was researching the boundaries of hollows and soul reapers. Guess who is a mix of both? Ichigo. I think his plan was to pit Aizen against Ichigo to test the limits of zanpakto and hollows while at the same time getting his revenge against Aizen by sealing him and testing Aizen's power with the hogyoku. He most likely came up with this plan shortly after ichigo's powers were awakened and he saw his potential. Even after all those events when orihime gets kidnapped urahara conveniently has a gargonta ready to go in no time to travel to the hollow world and also makes preparations to let or captain level soul reapers pass through. Even with his intelligence don't you think he had that crap too well prepared beforehand to just be made up on the spot to help them out... Just seems like bleach was based on half of urahara's manipulation of events and people. That's my theory anyway.
You forgot to mention His Quincy powers and the person he considers Zangetsu is not Zangetsu but that guy is a younger version Yhwach who is his quincy powers.
@@thediaz07 yes , azien but aizen made his first,, That said aizen stole kiskues and had to use kiskues device to extract it...I actually don't think aizen is a better scientist then kiskue or mayuri (notice mayuri is threatened by kiskue but not aizen, science isn't the only area of inteligence though) . His excceding intelligence is in manipulation of people..hence his zanpakto's power uses it..... also Just think kiskue was involved in ichigo's creation..he helped seal white hollow in misaki and basically told isshin to 'watch her. He must of known that the white hollow was aziens doing...He knew+helped in the god like ichigo's conception and knew what he'd be. He helped train him and yourchi helped his bankai cause she follows kiskue..... .. he jus let azien let azien go foward...He needed large power to weaken azien for sealing... .... At the end of the new novel. yourchi thought kiskue might kill hisagi. Hisagi working as a ''reporter'' found out some serious secrets of kiskues but kiskue let him keep them in case he ever turns evil. People will know why and his secrets etc
Aizen already admitted Urahara’s intellect is beyond his by a large margin His spirit energy/reiatsu is also probably on par with his as a soul reaper or at least almost close to it Urahara is able high level kidos aizen uses like the dragons I think it was stated had aizen and Urahara joined forces nothing the soul society has could stop them
wasnt the official canon explanation for why he planted the hogyoku in rukia the fact that her gigai actually repelled reiatsu and gradually assimilated her into a human who couldnt be found by soul society so the hogyoku would never be found ever again
yes sir so idk if what tekking is saying is correct but he had a good point if kisuke did want aizen to get caught I don't think he should've let him get the hogyoku
Izmael Hernandez While it's not mentioned in the story, I think that Yamamoto is always cool with Urahara. Central 46 was the one that's not cool with Urahara. I believe that Yamamoto said "Well, I know that he's innocent but trying to save him is out of my power. At least he's alive though, so I'll just ignore it"
+Raver1601 speaking of the central 46, I really don't know why Yamamoto would even take orders from them, his spiritual pressure would be more than enough to crush them like bugs. They are just a bunch of weak stupid old geezers, that's why the Gotei 13 shouldn't take orders from them (in my opinion).
Hash Ob And the fact that they're just fucking cunts that pretends they're actually doing anything to enforce the law makes me fucking sick of 'em, just like the Ministry of Magic from Harry Potter
I was always of the belief that Aizen was on a similar tier intellectually to Urahara, but Aizen was more powerful. Urahara's methods were always several steps ahead of him though. While Aizen is making back-up plans and contingencies, Urahara would have multiple back-ups and contingencies for those. If that makes much sense. Urahara is one of the most terrifying opponents to go up against in Bleach. Not because he's incredibly overpowering in his reiatsu (though he is by no means on the weaker end of captains), but because you can never know what he is really thinking. He has such a knack for hiding his motives and actions, that he could have already set in place a plan to defeat you, and you'd have absolutely no idea, no matter how powerful or intelligent you are. The example I'd reference is in the fight against Aizen, where he implanted the sealing spell to contain him in another hadou that he fired at Aizen. He had a pretty good idea that he'd become too powerful to defeat with the hogyouku at his disposal, so he implanted the sealing spell in advance. Urahara's forward thinking skills and tactical mind are, in my opinion, the most advanced in all of Bleach. He's sort of comparable to Batman in a way. Given the right amount of prep time, I don't think there is an enemy he can't defeat. I have to give credit to Aizen's misdirection and tactics as well. He's definitely no slouch! Pitted against anybody other than Kisuke Urahara, you'd be damned if you thought I wasn't betting on him to win. Kyouka Suigetsu is one of, if not, the most broken Zanpakuto in the entire series. Having the ability to control every one of your opponent's senses flawlessly - it's essentially an instant-win scenario if he places you under that power. The main flaw in Aizen is his gross sense of superiority, and his sheer arrogance blinding him from making the best possible decisions. He believes that even if you were to miraculously break through one of his schemes, his overwhelming power would be enough to easily handle any response you could muster. He'll try to break the spirit of his opponent first, and if that doesn't work, he'll use force. If for some reason he can't beat his opponent through force, he falls apart. Due to his god-complex he literally can't fathom the idea of someone standing against him on equal footing, and he stops thinking rationally. This is exactly what happened in is fight against Ichigo. As soon as he realized that Ichigo was actually a match for him, he just started throwing out more powerful attacks in the hope that one would stop him. Urahara doesn't have these problems, therefore he's able to keep a level-head and think his way out of tough situations. In the end, Aizen may be stronger, and smart in his own right; but against Urahara, his hubris will lead to his downfall. Even if he does wind up beating him, Urahara might not be the one to deal the finishing blow, but he'll set up the events that will lead to his defeat.
The question should be mayuri and aizen who is superior. mayuri had a chair that did more to aizen than anyone else in bleach. plus mayuri was willing to bet his science against aizen. Not sure why everyone always leaves out mayuri from this discussion.
kronosleblu888 mayuri has an almost I'm gonna surpass you one day deal while aizen and urahara have a constant chest battle their situation is rival like.
b0mbsquad041 yet Urahara was no where to be seen when aizen and mayuri faced off just before everyone was heading to the royal palace. just because mayuri isn't constantly up for confrontation and battle doesn't mean he is not to be considered here. let us not forget that until Kubo actually confirms it, urahara died. at the end of the day, urahara didn't do much in this war and neither did he do anything in the previous wars. mayuri was the mvp this war took out the most Quincy and also has killed the most residents of rukongai. mayuris accomplishments out shine anyone else in the last arc.
kronosleblu888 Well said. Mayuri really shined in the last arc. To me he grew quite a lot and if not for him the Soul Society may have lost the war quite early on. Oh and Mayuri's modified bankai ability is one of the best in Bleach. Still, Aizen was clearly in another class by the end of Bleach. But it didn't seem like he could break out of Mayuri's special seals without outside assistance.
polygon I know he mentions it in the video. but that's like saying we shouldn't include Zaraki in a ichigo vs Yama showdown coz Zaraki is too unstable and bloodthirsty. in terms of the scope of intelligence and planning mayuri still stands with urahara and aizen. I do agree though mayuri is more about creating stuff that destroying it. in fact his whole m.o. is based on going into the battlefield to collect data and not to kill. though if you do injure him he switches to killing. I do hope tekking makes a video addressing mayuri, his chair and how he did a lot during this final arc that cements him in the top tier of characters in bleach.
I think if you were to talk about Mayuri's intelligence ranking being lower than Aizen/Urahara, Mayuri says it himself. His curiosity doesn't expand into 'end goals' and by end goals I mean like reshaping the world or conquering it. His creed as a scientist wouldn't allow it. If he could do that he'd be manipulating the natural world into something he'd already understand and that'd just be plain boring to him. Even with the whole "creating life thing" doesn't he mention that he wanted to do it simply as a contradiction to being a god of death? Even if he didn't I'd imagine that would be his only peeking interest in the whole ordeal and not to be a literal god. He did it because of the impossibility.
I think 2spooky had a fact list that said Urahara was originally supposed to be the main bad guy and that he was supposed to have really killed Aizen in the Soul Society Arc. If you think about that then him placing the Hyokou(?) in Rukia makes a lot of sense because he would be standing where Aizen stood when he took it out of her. Why would he need to retrieve it this way? Admittedly I don't know.
I suspect that Kubo did not completely drop that plot-line until much later into the series. Kisuke throughout Arrancar-saga and even the fullbring arc remained shady, like he had other motives. This is why I think before Juha Bach came along that either he was originally going to be the final villain.
jacob spoonamore Its possible I like to think that the reason he saw Kirinji's hot springs was because maybe the Soul King listed him as a candidate for the position of Royal Guard.
Cylus Stephen no they wasn't... they were like the Sannin fighting Rikudō Madara with Limbo: Border Jail. They can kick anyone's ass... even Yamamoto but they suck against god level opponents and most of it was plot too, so...
Team Rinne Plot had a part to play- Kubo messed up badly. But the only good zero squad member was the leader Ichibel and to a lesser extent Oetsu. They all died off screen and by the Quincy elites who in turn were defeated by normal captains later down- so there isn't any excusing them. Ichibel though really was quite powerful and against the hax power that was The Almighty I understood why he lost- so he is the only saving grace of that squad.
I remembered there's a trowback where shinji talking stuff to uruhara like just be more patient to haori etc etc, then after the talk sinji walk casual then scratch something exposing aizen secretly watching them. Then shinji ask how long did you plan on watching him. I think aizen already know that uruhara have something especial. And if its true like want sinji says, that he already knew that someday aizen will betrayed them, then why he keep him on his side instead of lacking him in the maggots nest.
Hmm I really love your theory with Urahara being the final villain and basically setting the entire story into motion. As far as what I was expecting, I think Kubo got it close, I wanted something kind of like Light and L where the two keep outsmarting each other, but in the end, Urahara wins. There were definitely hints of that, but similar to where I thought he was going to go with Ichigo saving Orihime in that arc, it felt like we had the information there, Ichigo ends up with Orihime, Urahara wins out over Aizen, but not enough time was given to really flesh out any of these events to what it could have been. And had Kubo just taken the time to flesh out Orihime like he did Rukia or gave us just a little more insight into Urahara's psyche, there wouldn't be any issues here, but instead I feel like I'm looking at a draft of a novel rather than the real thing. There are ideas here that have potential to rival Naruto or One Piece at their best, but we're just given the bare bones and because of that how Bleach came together is kind of a mess. That's just my opinion though. I don't really consider myself a big Bleach fan, but I'll admit Kubo had some great ideas. I just wish they were executed better.
Indeed, his philosophical mind was second to none, not to mention he had some of the best quotes of any anime character ever. Mayuri is the runner up for me- he is very entertaining.
Ichigo's outfit and weapons are cool but imo he is among the worst of Bleach characters- he has no goals whatsoever. Also, in the last arc he sucked- never saw much new power from him and his bankai broke over and over again.
I've always believed that at the start they both had the same goals, but Urahara stood down and reluctanty accepted the world the way it is for the sake of peace, while Aizen stood up and sought to change it when no-one else would. That's how I've aways seen the both of them, anyway.
Actually, Urahara IS superior, and it can be proved quite easily. - Out of the two: -Who has a confirmed bankai? - Urahara - Who have more feats in kido? - Urahara - Who have more feats as a scientist? - Urahara - Who was acknowledged by the other as superior in intellect? - Urahara - Who was able to fully understand hogyoku after all? - Urahara - And finally, who won their hundred year long rivalry? - Urahara. Visoreds are welcomed back in Soul Society, Aizen fails his mission to become god and is put in prison, and it's all because of Urahara who exposed Aizen and sealed him away. Well of course there are SOME things Aizen is superior at, like physical strength or most likely physical speed (although feat with portable gigai puts that into question) as well, but still it doesn't change the fact that overall Urahara stomps Aizen in nearly all aspects, and that final verdict is clear.
Urahara is clearly superior because he like Aizen sees and understands the world for what it is, but unlike Aizen is still content with it afterwards. Aizen saw the Soul King and was abhorred by it for no other reason than it didn't fit the image or the aesthetic he had in mind for the world so he decided to change that aspect of it. Urahara saw the Soul King (or at least found out about it) and thought 'Huh, you learn something new every day' and went on with his life because he understands that the status quo is not inherently a bad thing. Aizen wanted to be a revolutionary for the revolutions sake, not because he had actual ideas. Urahara had ideas and he knew he could realize them far easier and better in the controlled environment of the Soul Society.
I would love to see Urahara flicking off Aizen. interesting POV in this. I never truly focused on Uraharas reason for doing this. kind of a revenge story on his side. I bed if Urahara is dead , then Aizen will be at his grave and go "I won!" lol. that would be funny. I just feel like Aizen found a good match with Urahara, they were good enemies or rivals. I wish the story behind them was a little more in depth. I wish we knew what Aizen really thought of Urahara, like, did he admire his intelligence or did he just dispute him? Aizen seems like a greedy power person but there has to be more behind what he was thinking other than "I want to be god". Aizen must have kept a close eye on Urahara. Aizen should have found a way to find Urahara in the human world and keep a close eye on him there. Urahara found a really good hiding spot. I know Urahara didn't like Aizen but if they had teamed up at one point to fight, that would be so cool.
Kitty Furlan Kubo's original plan was special war potential vs yhwach but sj füçked him up.That grave scene reminds me of how light was shouting infront of L's grave
Aizen does say that Urahara is the only person who may be smarter than him. And he wants Urahara to validate his actions while he's being sealed, asking why Urahara hasn't tried to take over if he's as smart as Aizen. But that's about it, we never get a real resolution to any of the storylines in Bleach.
I think Urahara's revenge plan was to one up Aizen and leave him in a state where Aizen couldn't do jack diddly squat, and to leave Aizen feeling unsatisfied for all eternity. Urahara realized that Aizen is a man who thinks he holds all the cards, and the best way to beat him is to take away his cards, and to stop playing. Leaving Aizen's own massive ego torture to himself. Beating him in a glorious way.
urahara was clearly superior since he understood that even with the cycle of life that was there with the soul king, he did nothing to change it since he knew the world was builded around that system. Aizen ws just arrogant and tried to be soul king because he tought he could change something
Remember that rukia was going to executed by the flaming bird and maybe urahara thought that it would destroy the sogyoku. That bird was not so simple, it probably had some purifying properties that would have damaged the sogyoku.
You're wrong. Urahara KNEW that Aizen WOULD get the Hogyoku if Ruika was executed by the Sokyoku. So he sent Ichigo to stop the execution, because then he thought Aizen wouldn't be able to get the Hogyoku. Of course he was wrong, as Aizen created a technique he could use to remove it based on Urahara's research, even though Urahara himself cannot use the technique.
I think Urahara wanted Aizen to get the Hogyoku and cause some chaos for the Shinigami. If we assume he set this whole thing in motion to get revenge on Aizen for framing him, it would also make sense for him to want revenge on the Soul Society for jumping to punish him without hearing his side of the story. Plus, considering what assholes the leaders of the Soul Society are, they might not want to admit that they may have been wrong in sentencing him without the added impetus of needing his help against a much stronger opponent.
Miyuki2319 But he didn't though, since he said he was counting on Ichigo after he sent him to SS. He was counting on him to rescue Rukia because he didn't know Aizen could remove the Hogyoku from Rukia's soul. Even the so-called genius Urahara can't do that, but Aizen can. So what does that tell you? It tells me that Urahara's intelligence is severely overrated.
It's possible Urahara wanted to use the fire bird thing to destroy the hogyoku along with Rukia. Though sending Ichigo in after her kinda contradicts this idea.
How many people would've liked when Urahara came to see Aizen finished off to instead reveal himself as villain. *Note I'm not dissing Juha- I liked him as a villain*
Based on what Ichigo said to Urahara after his fight with Aizen: he had been a loner right from the beginning, be it intelligence or power. Aizen was also looking out for a worthy rival - only to defeat them and prove his superiority (based on during-the-fight dialogues with Ichigo) and not just companionship (like Stark and Lillynette). Urahara (and for that matter Isshin) knew a lot about Hogyoku and Final-level-of-shinigami (and how to achieve it) - but "there is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path". @Tekking: 1) In the turn-back-the-pendulum urahara-aizen fight, Aizen mentioned that he had been watching Urahara for some time then and had doubts about his knowledge on hollowification. Secondly, in one scene where Soi Fun (:P) came to call Urahara, his shack was like some totally run down lab - which kind of hinted that he was deep into "some" experiments (secret of sorts). Doesn't these point that Urahara was into Hogyoku much before those 10 years of his being squad captain? And frankly is it even possible to create Hogyoku within such a short span of time? 2) Also considering that Aizen was a game master, wouldn't he have known/heard about Urahara even before his becoming a captain? I mean, if you plan to overthrow soul society, wouldn't you be keeping tabs on the 4 great noble families (to begin with) and track their moves; coincidentally Urahara was closely associated with the head of one of the families.
As for a series, how much better could Bleach have been if it was the story of Urahara instead of Ichigo. Granted that Ichigo is easier to relate to for the target audience, but Urahara is just a vastly more interesting character and his story and capability would make a good story.
It was a kido within a kido that required extremely specific circumstances to activate that caused Aizen's ultimate downfall. It's that next-level planning that make Aizen acknowledge that the only one he ever saw on the (relatively) same level as himself, was Urahara.
Urahara was always my favourite character in Bleach. Like you, I was looking forward to more confrontation between Urahara and Aizen, since they have become such great rivals. I never thought that Urahara would become a villain (but he'd be a brilliant villain once you think about it), but I did think he would form his own faction to rival Seireitei. We'll never know now. Maybe Tite had plans to explore the rivalry more... I wonder if Tite will get a Battle Angel Alita opportunity, where he'll get another chance to revisit the series and end it in a more satisfying way (not with WSNJ obviously!)
Hi trekking, here are my thoughts: The rivalry b/w Urahara and Aizen is like 2 chess grandmasters going at each other. They lay the foundation and "build their pieces", tactics and opportunities and then they battle. As, for the conclusion of their rivalry, I agree with you. It sucks that they never had one last discussion with one another. Although to be fair, they both despise each other: Urahara despises Aizen for being ruthless, manipulative and sadistic; Aizen hates Urahara for being equally intellectual, yet seemingly conform to society and normalcy. Going back to Urahara and the Research and Development division - remember before Urahara has been developing things. Remember he developed a gadget/target dummy that allowed a soul reaper to accelerate his/her bankai training. Recall Yoruichi mentoring Ichigo during his bankai training mention this.
In my opinion they are more closer to equals. I believe the real question is which one has benefited more from the other or which one is the more supportive one.
this is the greatest video abt bleach I have ever watch in RUclips!!!! i start give this video thumbup when tekking ask us why urahara put a hogyoku inside rukia soul. from that moment I started to realize. this guy is amazing!!! because he he know one question that all bleach fan don't know.
Urahara was empathetic of Aizens motivations in the end! i think the look on Kisuke's face was disappointment and regret towards the only person he respects intelligently taking the wrong path
In regards to Urahara and Aizen: Raw power, Aizen. That really requires no explanation. Intelligence: Urahara. While Aizen did have everyone fooled for centuries I honestly think Urahara has a greater mental capacity. Aizen had his own Hyogouku as such a device was necessary to bridging the gap between Shinigami and Hollow, so he could be a being that sits about all, A level above the Soul King, or to be the Soul King himself. His end goal. While for Urahara the Hyougouku was just one of his great projects and most likely have been overshadowed by something else had he not discovered Aizen's activities, and his life was altered. Technique: Aizen, is a Machiavellian, and has hardly ever revealed just how powerful he is. In addition to his personality his sword fits him perfectly, Kyoukasuigetsu is duplicity made reality. Even if he did not fool everyone in his grand ritual I believe that Aizen still would have lied about the power of his sword, so in a straight fight Aizen would just need to release it once and the fight would be over. As the condition is that anyone who sees its release its under its spell. Unohana did notcie something was off with Aizen's corpse, but I think that has something to do with her power as the first Kenpachi(I assume that to be a Kenpachi, ones power must be on another level). Urahara is cautious and there seems to be a disconnect with he and Benihime. I think that he fears her power, so therefore is hesitant to use it to its full potential. So he would be more prone to rely on his intelligence. Now if Urahara was able to activate Bankai it may tip things in his favor, but I think Aizen would kill him before he could really do anything dangerous.
Urahara and Aizen are EXACTLY the same as L and Light. One is a mastermimd that looks over the shoulder to everyone. And the other is this kinda crazy genius a little bit of mad scientist. So it's the same that in Death Note. The arogant MF is the "Bad Guy" and the "Weird Genius" is the "Good Guy". But looking from Aizen's point of view, kinda the same as Bach, they want just to change things. And they are faced against the world that does not to want to change anything Edit: As I remember, on the anime episode 61, Aizen stops Ichigo's sound track and last hope hit (while Ichigo is on Bankai and he is not even released his shikai) with one finger. After that he proceeds to explain the different experiments he did with hollows (min 19:00) and says "Even I couldn't find the way to do it" (the fusion of shinigami and hollow) "But Urahara Kisuke did find a way". Then saying Urahara created the first Hogyoku. The thing he had when he stole Matsumoto's soul was only a prototype or was created AFTER Urahara's Hogyoku. And explaining the Hogyoku was hiden inside Rukia, the way that he says it, looks like he did hide the Hogyoku on Rukia's soul BEFORE she even went to the real world, so it was way before giving her the suppressive gigai
*its not even a question. Urahara is superior. this was stated when they fought.if it was not for that powerup* *aizen got from a external source he would of lost.aizen himself admitted it.*
Bit late to the comment party, but had an interesting thought (I haven't scrolled through the 1.4k comments, so who knows if this is original) 17:04 I think that Urahara deliberately tried less on the fight, not just to leave it in Ichigo's hands because plot armor/protagonist and that Ichigo still has more power. I think that Urahara let the fight go with not much of an effort, handing it over to Ichigo, because it would distract Aizen from the cross seal. When Aizen fights Ichigo in the real Karakura, Aizen has to not only figure out how to utilize his newfound power, he also has to recover from Gin's should-have-been-lethal betrayal, Ichigo's 2-year training, and Mugetsu. He is taking in so much information that he has, in his broken post-Mugetsu'd state, probably entirely forgotten about his fight with Urahara. If Urahara was directly involved in that fight, Aizen would be a lot more guarded, knowing something was up. Anyways, nice video, love looking at two of my favorite Bleach characters in this kind of explanation/comparison. Cheers! Hope some people find this amusing!
I 100% agree with you! I definitely agree that I too think Urahara almost certainly planned everything out from the beginning. All was and went according to his plan. I think that’s definitely true, it makes a lot of sense and is super badass lol. There are so many examples I could think of that further favor, & prove this theory to be true honestly, I could name at least ten off head real quick. I also think Yamamoto is likely the third most intelligent person of the entire Soul Society. You said about Mayuri, & I agree, he lets his emotions overcome him far to easily, & he seems to be more so only really “book smart” in all honesty. Yama, is highly intelligent & also plans ahead quite a lot, many steps ahead of others. I don’t think he’s on Urahara & Aizen level, but he’s definitely the next one after those two for sure. I think Urahara is definitely first, then Aizen, then Yamamoto. I for sure agree though that Urahara planned everything for almost exactly how it all turned out since the very beginning, or maybe before that even. Dudes a god simply with just his intellect alone lol. Not to mention his power is the real deal too lol. He could be, & certainly has the potential to be the most dangerous character in the entire series in my opinion.
Light Revaan idiot? Thats not the point, fucking dumbass. He sealed aizen, who else in the bleach world can do that? Its not just sealing, he planned it like he knew it would happen. You lack chromosomes.
Light Revaan urahara ultimately won. He has a latent trap. Aizen beat him in a 1v1 but he sealed him and got him jailed. Lost the fight but won the war.
I always felt that Urahara should of been the one to free Aizen not Shunsui. Imagine the one who captured Aizen had to free him, it would be poetic justice. Imagine that conversation after what transpired
here what i wanted to see: urahara died in the fight with askin. Yhwach throw ichigo from the palace, and he see urahara body. he retorn to the palace, furious, and after a long fight finaly beat yhwach. then, wail he can berly move, and yhwach lie on the ground, sudenly, he hear a voice saing: well, hwo though that he could actualy beat him. and then another voice say: well, he won against me, so I ecpect him to beat yhwach. and then ichigo look behind, and see urahara and aizan standing there. then aizen grab yhwach, suck his powers, and then ...he and urahara grind as they saying, at the same moment: exactly as planed
OK. I remember him saying that urahara was the only one who was able to catch his interest, and was able to match him in term of intellect, but not straight up 'you are smarter then me'. By the way, what is it have to do with the way I think if Kubo would go in, he would immediately get much more love from the fans, because he would do the same aizen thing again?
I always take a break from tekking but when I come back it's always to the bleach discussions and throwback stories on his blog channel lol classic tekking 😎
Sōsuke Aizen Aizen himself admitted that Urahara is smarter than him. However Aizen has monstrous reiatsu compared to Urahara. So they both have strengths over each other.
Super D Duper Wrong. Aizen would destroy him even pre-hogyoku. Aizen only mentioned that Urahara's intellect is greater than his, that's it. In bleach, great intellect is only a part of total power that consists of many various aspects. Taking in consideration Aizen's reiatsu and kyoka suigetsu that both are extraordinarily powerful abilities (without even his unrevealed bankai) Aizen annihilates Urahara... No competition here. Post Hogyoku Aizen one shots.
+Sōsuke Aizen Chapter 403 of Bleach. Aizen says it bro. Base Aizen would lose to Urahara. U can argue with Oda if you want. And of course Post Hygoku Aizen wins. Strongest character in the series overall. But we aren't talking about that. Base Aizen vs Urahara, Urahara wins because Aizen said his prowess would be too much for him.
There's the fact Urahara chose to hide in Karakura. Its as if he knew thats where the final showdown with Aizen would take place supporting the fact he was 1000 moves ahead.
urahara: so the bleach series has started.. I see...all according to my plan
aizen: so you think hahaha...
urahara: so you think that I only think so...fascinating xD
mohammed ali
Mayuri: What are you talking about guys?
aizen: no i knew so....;)
Simon-peter Williamson
Mayuri: I have a chair guys.
Just saying.
ichigo vs aizen
urahara wins
Bleach final villain logic;
Yhwach vs Aizen
Ichigo kills Yhwach twice.
Shunsui vs. Lille
Nanao wins
Gerard Valkyrie VS Byakuya, Hitsugaya & Kenpachi
Yhwach wins
ichigo vs that huge beast thing from nnoitra
kenpachi wins

It is stated several times that Aizen's rietsu is the peak for a shinigami. Urahara's intellect is more formidable, but Aizen is more powerful. That's why Urahara needed Ichigo. He played all of his pieces perfectly.
What has Urahara ever done to be called smarter than Aizen?
Got killed? Nel was on the outside waiting to save them. Kubo didn't mention him and Grimmjow because he was rushed to wrap up the series.
Samuel Dabrio Yamamoto>>>>Aizen
In broad terms, without Aizen and Kisuke, there would be no Bleach.
You did realise, that everyone in Nuevo Mumdo was deemed to be essential to Soul Society, as their most Powerful, Outside the Captain Commander, was in -Nuevo Mumdo, for Good Reason, because the whole arc was unnecessary
what is nuevo mundo?
The entire BLEACH series is just a chess match between Kisuke and Aizen with other shit going on between
@@mikecash2384 tfw it could've ended in a single fight if Urahara didn't hide the hogyoku, or if Aizen didn't feel like losing against Mugetsu
Aizen himself admitted that Urahara was the only one in the soul society that was more intelligent him
Late but he actually said “...that I failed to understand completely”
Comicbook Gaming which means something aizen failed to grasp aka something above him in this case uraharas intellect
@@theredpillneo2296 that's particular for a translation
Urahara is and will always be my favorite character
Harlan Valdes My Favourite character is and always will be Rukia Kuchiki
Curtis Heenan why though all she was good for was being a bad burglar and ichigo discovered her
Harlan Valdes i agree, but i like lot of genius character. L from death note. shikamaru from naruto. i love urahara japanese voice actor.

Neko even using urahara lol
vantha doun Exactly how I would put it. Urahara knows that some things must be as they are, while Aizen wanted revolution against God, not realising that Urahara already controlled God. Aizen did have immense trust issues, Urahara did not and that is why as u said Urahara wins
@vantha doun great comment. Agreed!
didn't aizen at one point say Urahara was smarter than him?
yes
J G yes he did. Shortly after Aizen subjugated the hogyoku he fought urahara. Aizen said that in all of the soul society only urahara's intellect surpassed his own.
nope, all he ever said was "Among all those in Soul Society, you are the only one whom I've failed to understand completely."
NGE Fan ik for a fact he said it in the anime but I don't remember the manga.
+NGE Fan he did say it actually.
Urahara wins. He's bleach's answer to batman. With enough prep he can beat anyone.
Sam Ades not really he got messed up by Askin who could of killed him
+Sam Ades expect in the last arc xD
This is not my final form askin's power was the most random abilities ever seen and pretty hard to comprehend let alone beat. Anybody else woulda flat out been slaughtered and urahara was still combatting him.
If KLisuke is Batman then Aizen is Luthor.
Team Rinne But that's the thing though...
askin ran away and backed down from fighting mayuri even if we now know askins powers had nothing to do with light.
askins powers weren't as random and extreme as perninda.
pretty sure askin vs mayuri would have been an awesome fight. and askin would have lost that one.
i see those two as two sides of a coin
It would've been a big mind fuck if they were actually brothers....let that sink in for a moment
GetsugaProductions Or what if Aizen had been created by Urahara?
GetsugaProductions omg that would be awesome
kinda idk
Kenneth Njapa I know
There's no Superior
Aizen and Urahara counters each other to an Infinite loop.
"Why did Urahara plant it in Rukia?
My mind is currently blown, I never sat down and thought about this.
Ruki Rin-chan he gave Rukia a Gigai that would suppress her spiritual pressure and powers eventually dulling her down into a normal human, thus hiding the hogyoku forever.
Then he could plant it in just another human?
But Urahara knew that Soul Society would find Rukia regardless, even if her powers dwindled down to a low level soul reaper's, because she was constantly with Ichigo and also because, since Ichigo's own powers awakened through Rukia's spiritual pressure acting as a catalyst, it would make sense that they could track Rukia by looking for Ichigo
In other words, Urahara knew that Rukia was going to be found out and would be taken away.
In reality, his sending Ichigo to the Soul Society was, as tekking said, to clear up his name and reveal to everyone that Aizen was the bad guy, since he knew that Aizen would never ever let the opportunity slip by if he could get his hands on the hogyoku and he knew that Aizen would reveal his true intentions to the Soul Society, just as Urahara planned :)

something Bleach amd Critical Role fans can agree on: CHAIRS ARE TERRIFYING
So Mayuri, in the very end
Aizen is what Urahara would have been if he was ambitious.
Urahara would have surpassed Aizen if he was ambitious.
Urahara got taken out by a Sternritter. Urahara ain't no Aizen
randumo24 I agree. What a scenario that'd be.
smarter sure. But ambition lack thereof resulted in him not being as powerful as he could have been
I see Aizen, as What Urahara has always feared becoming, and Legally, he did!!
Either or.
i like this
if Kubo was a better writer i could see urahara doing this
woah :o we are on the same opinion.
Man I get your point , but why didn't aizen do it himself instead of relying on ichigo , as we all know aizen was deemed special by yhwach due to his immense amount of reiatsu , which probably all we could know is Infinte and he has kyoka suigetsu as well , he could ve easily trained and defeat yhawch himself
urahara planted the hogyoku in an attempt to hide it forever. her gigai drained her spiritual enerygy which would have made her a normal human. as a normal human, aizen would not have been able to find her.
so we think
but he knew the soul reapers would find her
"I remember what Urahara said. 'I made no miscalculations. That was
my greatest miscalculation of all.' And just like he predicted, the
worst-case scenario came to pass. Man, we sure owe a lot to them. To
Urahara, and also to Aizen, an' all. Let's go." - Hirako Shinji this comentary is best summary Aizen - Urahara situation
Curse you tekking. I am stuck binging your old bleach vids now
I'm right here with you bro haha.
Haha. I'm right here with you bro.i even started rewatching bleach
lol same
3 the most powerful and intelligent people (from Soul Society):
1.Urahara
2.Aizen
3.Mayuri
Without them the whole Bleach would be pretty much lame :)
Mayuri is top 3 in intelligence but definitely not top 3 strongest
izabela Igbar Ichibē
urahara aizen shunsui
izabela Igbar byakuya???
Or in other Words Kisuke as usual goofing around was ahead of both of them
Honestly I think urahara had planned from the beginning to have Ichigo defeat Aizen.
Logon1027 that theory makes complete sense urahara knew ichigo would get strong enough to face aizen
Aizen's powers is complete hypnosis which manipulates perception and your senses while Uruhara's power is to manipulate reality... 🥰
You forgot to mention His Quincy powers and the person he considers Zangetsu is not Zangetsu but that guy is a younger version Yhwach who is his quincy powers.
No that theory is exactly right. Urahara is by far the most intelligent character w Aizen closely behind. Didn't Urahara create the frigging hyoguoku?
Aizen already admitted Urahara’s intellect is beyond his by a large margin
His spirit energy/reiatsu is also probably on par with his as a soul reaper or at least almost close to it Urahara is able high level kidos aizen uses like the dragons
I think it was stated had aizen and Urahara joined forces nothing the soul society has could stop them
wasnt the official canon explanation for why he planted the hogyoku in rukia the fact that her gigai actually repelled reiatsu and gradually assimilated her into a human who couldnt be found by soul society so the hogyoku would never be found ever again
Björn Thor Gudmundsson yes
yes sir so idk if what tekking is saying is correct but he had a good point if kisuke did want aizen to get caught I don't think he should've let him get the hogyoku
At what point did urahara and the soul society become cool again? Like at what point did yamamoto say "oh shit we got the wrong guy"
It was a joke. He was talking about off camera
Hash Ob the gotei 13 are meant to follow the orders of central 46 but most of the captains never followed the rules
Even if he does wind up beating him, Urahara might not be the one to deal the finishing blow, but he'll set up the events that will lead to his defeat.
urahara is the best character in bleach
Mayuri wins since he created chair sama
KanzenSaimin didn't he also create the reitsu limiting suit aizen was wearing?
Charlton Christian Ye and it worked
Kenneth Njapa aizen could have been lying. And he accomplished more
Chair sama forced Mayuri to create it a physical form.
then it was revealed: Urahara designed THE CHAIR
Frozen Leviathan Mayuri created the chair
The question should be mayuri and aizen who is superior.
mayuri had a chair that did more to aizen than anyone else in bleach.
plus mayuri was willing to bet his science against aizen.
Not sure why everyone always leaves out mayuri from this discussion.
kronosleblu888 mayuri has an almost I'm gonna surpass you one day deal while aizen and urahara have a constant chest battle their situation is rival like.
b0mbsquad041 yet Urahara was no where to be seen when aizen and mayuri faced off just before everyone was heading to the royal palace.
just because mayuri isn't constantly up for confrontation and battle doesn't mean he is not to be considered here.
let us not forget that until Kubo actually confirms it, urahara died.
at the end of the day, urahara didn't do much in this war and neither did he do anything in the previous wars.
mayuri was the mvp this war took out the most Quincy and also has killed the most residents of rukongai.
mayuris accomplishments out shine anyone else in the last arc.
kronosleblu888 tekking addresses this in the video. He says he's too unstable mentally and emotionally to think as intelligently as urahara and aizen
kronosleblu888 Well said.
Mayori is just a kid playing with his toys, and creating life is just his best trick in creating the best toy.
It ultimately doesn't matter, since my bankai created Kubo who eventually made bleach. Urahara has always been my bitch hehe
I'M GONNA PUT IT IN RUKIA - Tekking101 2016
This is why I think before Juha Bach came along that either he was originally going to be the final villain.
do you think that if urahara had never been banished would he have been promoted to the zero devision
jacob spoonamore of course
jacob spoonamore The Zero Squad was absolute crap....so he would have probably turned them down.
jacob spoonamore Its possible I like to think that the reason he saw Kirinji's hot springs was because maybe the Soul King listed him as a candidate for the position of Royal Guard.
Cylus Stephen no they wasn't... they were like the Sannin fighting Rikudō Madara with Limbo: Border Jail. They can kick anyone's ass... even Yamamoto but they suck against god level opponents and most of it was plot too, so...
Team Rinne
Plot had a part to play- Kubo messed up badly.
The voice you did to represent Yamamoto sounded like an elderly Eric Cartmen, and it made my day.
I think Tekking has figured out he gets more add revenue from Bleach videos- plus he probably enjoys making them more
Hmm I really love your theory with Urahara being the final villain and basically setting the entire story into motion.
Aizen is hands down the best character in Bleach!
Indeed, his philosophical mind was second to none, not to mention he had some of the best quotes of any anime character ever. Mayuri is the runner up for me- he is very entertaining.
Indeed very intriguing but there are other interesting characters as well
ThisIsBioHazard yessss
ThisIsBioHazard nope Dankai Ichigo, Full Hollow Ichigo, Final Getsuga Ichigo and Dual blade Shikai ichigo are the best, come at me
Ichigo's outfit and weapons are cool but imo he is among the worst of Bleach characters- he has no goals whatsoever. Also, in the last arc he sucked- never saw much new power from him and his bankai broke over and over again.
This is the video ( from 9:18 on) that officially got me hooked on Tekken101 2 years ago. I've been such a fan ever since!!!!
I've always believed that at the start they both had the same goals, but Urahara stood down and reluctanty accepted the world the way it is for the sake of peace, while Aizen stood up and sought to change it when no-one else would. That's how I've aways seen the both of them, anyway.
In aizens mind Urahara should been the one doing what he did make arrancars attack soul society etc
"A winner speaks of the world as it should be, not as it is."
-Aizen
At the end, when urahara talks to aizen after sealing up
I got the feeling that somehow urahara was conected to the soul king
but.... not
Actually, Urahara IS superior, and it can be proved quite easily.
- Out of the two:
-Who has a confirmed bankai? - Urahara
- Who have more feats in kido? - Urahara
- Who have more feats as a scientist? - Urahara
- Who was acknowledged by the other as superior in intellect? - Urahara
- Who was able to fully understand hogyoku after all? - Urahara
- And finally, who won their hundred year long rivalry?
Aizen and Urahara are lowkey like Kira and L
The only thing I think you are wrong is kido tbh but everything else I agree with you
Urahara is clearly superior because he like Aizen sees and understands the world for what it is, but unlike Aizen is still content with it afterwards.
Kenji San no one messed up Kubo but kubo
Aizen does say that Urahara is the only person who may be smarter than him. And he wants Urahara to validate his actions while he's being sealed, asking why Urahara hasn't tried to take over if he's as smart as Aizen. But that's about it, we never get a real resolution to any of the storylines in Bleach.
Kenneth Njapa aizen accomplished more & could have been lying
Great video, tekking I'm glad you still find interesting stuff to talk about even after bleach is over.
I've been a steady and very appreciative viewer for a few years and this is one of my favorite videos you've done. well done and thanks a lot tekking!
urahara was clearly superior since he understood that even with the cycle of life that was there with the soul king, he did nothing to change it since he knew the world was builded around that system.
Jacob Carasso Its mentioned by Aizen that a foreign object in the soul would only fall out, the soul evaporated. Aizen had that as plan A
"Hougyoku" you mean, Sokyoku is the name of the flaming bird.
Hey tekking101 could you make a video explaining your lore
yes! whats going on with smart tekking, rad tekking, etc?
Rodrigo Nunes Malaquias I think smart/dark Tekking got replaced with Tekman
yea i would love to see that
I'm more confused on what happen to the Bount arc review because that had the origins of Vampire Tekking
the Quincy duelist he already did that kinda i mean the thing with his shop i forgot
I think your theories and analysis are very likely spot on.
Aizen fooled not only the soul society but about 95% - 99% of the viewership too
It was his bankai after all to create illusions
If I hadn't known about aizen from the various you tube videos I watched, I would've been fooled by Aiken myself
Josh groban seemed like such a nice guy.
@@gerald216 "well if you believe then you are helping my plan"-Josh Groban
Thank you for the video! All of you friends are super awesome! Oh, moments in this video are sad.
It's possible Urahara wanted to use the fire bird thing to destroy the hogyoku along with Rukia. Though sending Ichigo in after her kinda contradicts this idea.
What if he wanted Ichigo to grow stronger by going after her but if he failed, she would've died thus succeeding anyways.
How many people would've liked when Urahara came to see Aizen finished off to instead reveal himself as villain. *Note I'm not dissing Juha- I liked him as a villain*
StormSurge I would have preferred Urahara as a villain over Juha.
Agreed, I think Kisuke should have been the final villain even though I do like Juha.
disagree. That would defeat not urahara's character, but his role as ichigo's mentor. Would break the story.
CEsar Well that's assuming he was Ichigo's mentor all along, and not just furthering his own goals.
Both of em are fucking beast
Based on what Ichigo said to Urahara after his fight with Aizen: he had been a loner right from the beginning, be it intelligence or power. Aizen was also looking out for a worthy rival - only to defeat them and prove his superiority (based on during-the-fight dialogues with Ichigo) and not just companionship (like Stark and Lillynette). Urahara (and for that matter Isshin) knew a lot about Hogyoku and Final-level-of-shinigami (and how to achieve it) - but "there is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path".
@Tekking:
1) In the turn-back-the-pendulum urahara-aizen fight, Aizen mentioned that he had been watching Urahara for some time then and had doubts about his knowledge on hollowification.
I am now rewatching Bleach and this made me look on that from another perspective. Tekking, your vids are top-notch! Thanks for all the work!
READ URAHARA X AIZEN FANFIC. I mean im not gay but my God that would be funny to hear u read
Liking that doesn't really make you gay, you're not the one kissing another guy XD
I will never watch it. but I just want to hear what it will be like if he does read it. I mean tekking reading all of this doesn't make him gay
Urahara is an engineer, Aizen is a scientist, and Mayuri is a biologist
Urahara of course after all Aizen did say so himself that Urahara is smarter than himself
It was a kido within a kido that required extremely specific circumstances to activate that caused Aizen's ultimate downfall. It's that next-level planning that make Aizen acknowledge that the only one he ever saw on the (relatively) same level as himself, was Urahara.
What would a Urahara and Aizen fan fiction be like? "Oh you thought I was going in your butt? interesting" lol oh god what have I done?!!
Jeff E omfg I'm dead
Frosty 16 "MiNd GaMe" that should be the name of the fan fiction with them.
I wonder if Tite will get a Battle Angel Alita opportunity, where he'll get another chance to revisit the series and end it in a more satisfying way (not with WSNJ obviously!)
hey tekking you should do a discussions on maryuri kurosuchi that's a idea for u if u are dry on videos
Hi trekking, here are my thoughts:
The rivalry b/w Urahara and Aizen is like 2 chess grandmasters going at each other.
I believe the real question is which one has benefited more from the other or which one is the more supportive one.
wyatt boyd Aizen benefited more from Urahara because he needed Urahara's Hogyoku to power up his own
Yes, but aizen is also quite a humble character. Simply trying to compliment some of equal level
I gotta say, your sense of humor had a great touch on this video man xD
Thanks for the revaluation in this video tekking blew my mind man.
Also I thought urahara created the hogyoku first?
Grey World Speaking of we never did figure out how it was created.
Grey World urahara did. but aizen figured out the true abilities first
You kill thousands of people and compress their soul energy into a diamond like object. Why do u think urahara wanted the maggots nest
They both created the hogyoku around the same time. Aizen found out it's true use first
this is the greatest video abt bleach I have ever watch in RUclips!!!! i start give this video thumbup when tekking ask us why urahara put a hogyoku inside rukia soul. from that moment I started to realize. this guy is amazing!!! because he he know one question that all bleach fan don't know.
I think Urahara surpassed Mayuri's Nemu with Ururu (and maybe Jinta).
diegui fdezt I don't think urahara made jinta and Ururu I think he was like hey kids want to come and work in my shop
Carlton Leeper I can totally imagine him being all awkward creeper about it to. Like, "I'll pay you with candy"
Urahara was empathetic of Aizens motivations in the end! i think the look on Kisuke's face was disappointment and regret towards the only person he respects intelligently taking the wrong path
That's the only time Aizen lost his cool through the entire series..he kept one emotion the whole time.
In regards to Urahara and Aizen:
Raw power, Aizen.
I wonder when did aizen learn about the soul King
When he went to his concert.
I would guess SK is a topic they teach in the Shinho Academy.
And they are faced against the world that does not to want to change anything
Edit: As I remember, on the anime episode 61, Aizen stops Ichigo's sound track and last hope hit (while Ichigo is on Bankai and he is not even released his shikai) with one finger.
Urahara is smarter.
Aizen is more powerful.
solved.
Azien's words in can't fear in your own world.
"Urahara does not let me talk to Ichigo".
Sorry Aizen I can't give Ichigo come back when your a little mmmm GOODER
*its not even a question. Urahara is superior. this was stated when they fought.if it was not for that powerup*
*aizen got from a external source he would of lost.aizen himself admitted it.*
I feel like it's been forever since I've watched a Tekking video, I hope you've been well
Didn't Aizen pick up the trash that Urahara threw away know as Hogyoku
Yea yea
just about to eat dinner get a notification tekking 101 posted new video fuck cancel all my plans haha
Izen's cube wasn't perfect. He needed Urahara's because it was complete.
honestly tekking, I love your vids. you are too good! you got me into bleach and many other mangas/animes.
It seemed pretty proper to me, Urahara never losing his composure and straying from his path with Aizen going full brat mode in the end.
Bit late to the comment party, but had an interesting thought (I haven't scrolled through the 1.4k comments, so who knows if this is original)

I think that Urahara deliberately tried less on the fight, not just to leave it in Ichigo's hands because plot armor/protagonist and that Ichigo still has more power.
Can we have a discussion about what would happend if the hogyoku was used by Ichigo? :o
Urahara cant fuck with Aizen lol. He had trouble with an Elite....Aizen is beyond all 4 Elites
James Fortner who sealed aizen? Alright then
Light Revaan idiot? Thats not the point, fucking dumbass. He sealed aizen, who else in the bleach world can do that? Its not just sealing, he planned it like he knew it would happen. You lack chromosomes.
Light Revaan urahara ultimately won. He has a latent trap. Aizen beat him in a 1v1 but he sealed him and got him jailed. Lost the fight but won the war.
Light Revaan you are actually pretty stupid.
Light Revaan the title of the video says superior. Lol read, obviously aizen is stronger. Do you have any common sense?
20:31 “and I wanna be king of the pirates” 😂🤣😂🤣
go back to doing versus videos tek
im alredy going to give you an idea
alucard from hellsing vs D from vamdire hunter d
joao sturza pre-schrodinger Alucard or post-schrodinger Alucard?
0816 M3RC pre,
plus schrodinger has preaty much no eats
Yamamoto vs Ichibe
kenpachi vs. shunsui
I always felt that Urahara should of been the one to free Aizen not Shunsui. Imagine the one who captured Aizen had to free him, it would be poetic justice. Imagine that conversation after what transpired
That would be crazy, another missed opportunity.
here what i wanted to see:
urahara died in the fight with askin.
Urahara is the better scientist. But Aizen's power and intellect combined beat everything Urahara has quite easily.
Sōsuke Aizen Aizen himself admitted that Urahara is smarter than him.
However Aizen has monstrous reiatsu compared to Urahara. So they both have strengths over each other.
Urahara would beat Pre-Hogyoku Aizen. Said so by Aizen himself.
+Sōsuke Aizen
Chapter 403 of Bleach.
+Sōsuke Aizen My bad. I said Oda, I meant Kubo.
There's the fact Urahara chose to hide in Karakura. Its as if he knew thats where the final showdown with Aizen would take place supporting the fact he was 1000 moves ahead.
