they tried to get my sister for jury duty and she does not want too so they took her off and they system is broken trying to force people to do jury duty.they need a new system that includes a website with a link to sign up for jury duty on they own free will.

I had jury duty today for the first-time. 300 people in the jury pool room in fall river Massachusetts, waited 3 hours for the judge to come out and say no cases. Wasted 3 hours of my day. I had jury duty, but got sent home within 4 hours of waiting.
Did you receive anymore notices via. Mail from the court since then? Were no penalties involved since they sent you home earlier than expected too??

I'm watching this because I am exactly like you. lol A planner, and I always visit the palace I need to be, so I know where to go instead of looking clueless lol
13:13 most places will let you answer questions privately before the judge and attorneys at the bench.
You might have people with medical conditions that sitting that long would be painful for them or people that have digestive disorders that would require more regular bathroom breaks or people with diabetes that would require more regular breaks for snacks and to check there blood sugar levels. I would think these people would be able too be excused because of medical issues

I have been called at least 5 times. Usually the case was settled out of court…but I was never chosen.

Question, so i have an upcoming jury duty on december 1st (That I'm currently working to be excused from for my mental disability/autism) and was wondering if for some reason that if I get dismissed or discharged early from the court as a juror for not following directions or answering questions correctly, will I then get penalized or nothing will happen? 🤔

Hello. Did you have to show government issued identification at the security check-in even before you proceeded to the assembly room to wait? Did you see any parents with children in the assembly room waiting? Were any parents allowed to bring their children into the court room during the jury duty selection process?
