- I had an absolute blast running my second Dopey Challenge at runDisney’s Marathon Weekend 2023. 48.6 magical miles in the books including a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon! I've been so excited waiting for this!! I ended up being on property one day over race weekend and spent the entire time thinking about you. It was the evening between the half and full marathons so I sent you lots of prayers, love, and well wishes for a good night of sleep and good race recovery. Loved seeing all the awesome run gear and merch and everything looks adorable on you Jen......so happy for you, you are totally rocking life and wonderful motivation and incentive for others!! These races are just a dream for me, but at least I am a walker outdoors and on my treadmill indoors.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the vid! And btw - these races are totally attainable for walkers if you can maintain a 16:00/mile pace. Something to think about 😊

Thank you for sharing about club runDisney. It’s something I hope to get for next season 🤞 and you answered several of my outstanding questions. Also sizing …. One might be men’s and the other women’s ….. I noticed the same thing at springtime surprise and that was the discrepancy.
I’m glad you found it helpful! And that’s a good point on the sizing. But still…I wish Disney would make it clearer 🤷♀️

This is my first disney race that I didn't buy a replica medal pin bc I felt so horrible about my lack of training. I think we only bought a couple things at the expo bc things were sold out. I really wanted that white hoodie you got and the RunDisney Spirit Jersey made with tech fabric. I like the Goodrs too! Definitely prefer using those during runs vs my Maui Jims.
I lost my Inaugural Tinkerbell Half Marathon magnet going through a car wash so I don't put my magnets on the car anymore. I *do* put all my disney (passholder & DVC) magnets on my fridge with glue dots though! Also I take my tech fabric shirts back to the park for my "light layer" during park evenings.

Love the video! Love the background on Club Rundisney. How do we register for platinum Club RunDisney? I thought it wasn’t open to the public yet. I am definitely interested in registering for it when I do Dopey next year.
They open registration in the summer I believe, but I don’t think they’ve announced it just yet

The mug is really cute 🤩 It seems like a much calmer experience at the expo with the club runDisney access! I know it's expensive but do you think it was worth it?
So…I have many thoughts about this but to condense it down - yes, to me it’s been worth it even just having been able to use the benefits for one in person event so far. The early/easy access for bib & shirt pickup, less frantic shopping, corral upgrade - worth it. And I imagine I’ll double down on those feelings when I have the opportunity to register for the 2024 season events a week ahead and not have to stress about the spinning wheel of anxiety of the virtual queue on registration day. But all that being said - it’s seriously pricey and annoying that they took away some previously included benefits for DVC and AP’s and put them behind a very very tall paywall. I see both sides of the arguments for and against club runDisney and I honestly agree with them both.
