- After 27 weeks of training and 3 previous days of races it is time for the final Dopey Challenge race- the WDW Marathon!
Spoiler alert: this is a long one but such a magical one! Join us and those who joined the Sisters and Fridays pace group as we run the most magical 26.2 miles!

Watching your video as our friend is about to fly out of Western Australia to run in the 2024 marathon. I only wanted to see where she was getting involved but once I started watching I couldn’t stop. Fantastic video really well put together: More than that, you girls are such an inspiration. Congratulations!! I cried no less than 10 times watching this🥹. I appreciate this recap beyond words 😭. I was so stressed about my knee & the balloon ladies, who were in front of me coming off the boardwalk & the bicycle man was circling me 😱 I had to run from there to the finish line faster than my old legs could carry me, so I really didn’t pay much attention to my surroundings. Getting to relive it through your video is such a blessing 🥹 THANK YOU!!!
Congratulations to you too! We had a similar experience to that in 2022 (Katie still will not rewatch that video). It is amazing what our body can do when we are pushed to that limit.
Sisters, you are such an inspiration to me!! I’m doing to Princess 5k next week, which will be my first ever running event, and have been working for 2 months toward it. Seeing you accomplish race after race has inspired me to keep running and go for the 10k or 10 miler next year! So happy I found your channel. Love to all of you 💜

I was lucky and my brother-in-law got our Guardians queue. I meant to remind him, but forgot. I told Amanda while we were running that I hoped he remembered, but if he didn't, that we'd have to try at 1:00. Luckily he remembered though. I liked it, but I don't know if I will ever ride it again because my motion sickness almost got me even with Dramamine. I don't know if riding about two hours after finishing a marathon on a pretty empty stomach made it worse though. lol

7 months later… and I’m FINALLY watching this INCREDIBLE recap! It truly truly was an absolute honor and JOY to run with you three! I seriously could NOT have finished without you girls!! It was the most fun I’ve EVER had running, and I’m so blessed that our paths crossed (literally!) All these months later, and I STILL cry thinking about how amazing this experience was! I SO hope to run with you sisters again some day! Congratulations!!!!!!!! 🎉❤❤❤

"Coming up is a dumpster," and I immediately went to "fire." Glad you ran into so many friends and finished strong. I started getting teary when I saw the first wheeled athlete. By the time I saw anyone I knew I was jumping up and down instead. Now the tears come. Congrats again!

You guys are amazing- can I ask for the marathon did you use a gym boss & what were your interval ratios? 30:30?
Yes! We love our gym bosses! For disney races we use 30/30 intervals, it's the best for the majority of our group and it's easy to adapt if you need an additional walk break. For non-disney races we vary our intervals mostly between 30/30, 45/30, and 60/30 depending on the race and our goals.
