I absolutely agree with you. The Lenovo ThinkCentre is a solid tank of a machine. Even their micro pcs are very well built and solid performers. Like you said, just by upgrading the ram and hard drive to an SSD will greatly improve the overall performance. Most people are so obsessed with the "Latest" and "Greatest" technology, but fall short of realizing that their realistic (Basic and everyday) needs are easily met by utilizing machines such as the one you featured. In the end, the most important factor is the financial benefits of saving SO much money over the "New" tech out there. Great video and very informative! I hope your video reaches more viewers so they can see the benefits of using computers that are solid and dependable regardless of the age. I hope to see more on your channel! Greetings from sunny Southern California!

I'm going to buy this machine to upgrade my ThinkCenter M84. In this video you mention at 8:30 a link too another video focussing on adding a second SSD to the M93p. What is that link? I also searched your channel for that video but couldn't find it. Thanks, this video confirmed to me that upgrading to one of the newer models like the 720 is not needed for my requirements.

I really like this range of Lenovo desktops. I have several customers that are very happy with their M90/91/93p systems in 2024. If you're looking for a solid machine that will do daily office- or home tasks, these are fine machines. They come with very decent power supplies with more headroom than the M700/900 series that came after this range.
The case supports up to a Nvidia1650 video card, I usually put a 1050ti 4GB low profile in there. That allows for watching 2K movies and 1080p gaming on a 32" screen.
They all run on 16GB ram, M93p systems 32GB. Always use as much memory as possible in as many memory slots as possible. So if you go for 8GB, use four 2GB sticks rather than two 4GB ones.
A SATA SSD is a nobrainer, even for simple storage. A 2TB drive can be had for about EUR 100,00, two 1TB SSDs are even cheaper. An NVME drive in a pcie card runs even faster, unfortunately the machine won't boot from that drive.
If you like using older audio cards like Soundblaster, or Startech this is a great machine as well. There is a PCI 2.3 slot on the motherboard that can be used for CD quality sound output and recording.

    I like your working style.
What is no longer needed flies off the table.
    That's very funny.

Your M93P almost looks new. I have a M93P personal PC and have sold many of them. M93P is a solid PC.
