How to pack for a convention!

Packing for conventions is an art. Which can be mastered by anyone...with a little guidance and tips of course! :D
Here are some tips when it comes to packing for conventions!!

I went to a pool party the other weekend and one of the other girls that went had completely forgotten her bathing suit. She brought everything else she could possibly need: a towel, hairties, a hairbrush, etc, but she didn't bring a suit. She thought she had it in her bag, but she actually never put it in the bag in the first place. So, moral of this story is that you should double check your bag to make sure that you actually have the things you need! On a different note, another great thing to have in a cosplay repair kit is superglue and safety pins! This has saved me and my Attack on Titan cosplay more times than I can count.

I'm constantly forgetting to bring a small bag or something to my conventions. I mean, I live 15 minutes away from a massive con area so no hotel packing yet, but I swear every time I go I realize I forgot a backpack to carry all of my stuff (like the con map, things I've bought, etc.) in! I'm kinda slow XP

I brought some duct tape to Katsucon 2017 and my friend was like "you don't need that." And then her costume ripped.

You never know! My gun holster ended up in the trash bc it was broke and there was no saving it, and I wish I would have had some duct tape lol

Im one of those weird persons who is packed and ready to go almost a month ahead of time (excluding essentials) maybe 6 months if I'm not getting a new cosplay together. A trick I learned as well is if you have a box or boxes that are just big enough to place your cosplay or cosplays nicely folded in a bag or the bags they we're shipped in it keeps them extra organized and clean. Same with accessories or shoes.

So, I am going to be cosplaying as Sasha Blouse from Attack on Titan. I am making the maneuver gear myself out of paint, firm cardboard, duck tape, thin and thick rope and string, and such. Same with the blades. Best place to preserve?

in all honesty, I do the opposite of the first tip. instead of packing s couple days before or the day before, I usually pack about a month or more ahead of time xD its a kinda bad habit. I also tend to double check it at least twice.... with a checklist...

9 at 10 times I pack the day before, and for me it does work,
but if you know its stresses you, dont do it indeed.
I know I will always forget something, dont care about that anymore as much,
as long as i forget ''small importance'' things rathen then really neccesary stuff, like medicine one time.
