But I do have to say, what happened to Fiona's toe is kind of what happened to me on a school thing before. I tripped and scraped my toe and a knee fairly well. For the knee we had nothing at the moment and our medical kit was on the bus that was away so we had to use a pad too XD

I bought the survey corps uniform plus the 3DMG (only the belts and stuff) and it took two hours for me and my mom to put together -.-. I used it for halloween and we could dress up as our character to school too so yeah, you'll see an anime character in school! Luckily there were some students who recognised where I cosplayed as. My first anime convention was KawaiiKon 2015 and it was fun! It was the first one over I went to bc i just got into anime last year (i used to be a hardcore kpopper and went to korean festivals XD) Anyway the first day of the con was during school, so afterschool I went with my friend and I obly wore an AOT shirt and the uniforn that had the wings of freedom on it ans went around like that. It was fun so I want to cosplay as atleast three characters during the next one upcoming november! My lineup: Fem!Kaneki Ken from Tokyo Ghoul, Gumi-Matryoshka, and depending on Sasha Blouse from AOT again but maybe an OC from that anime or just go amd where some fandom shirt i have XD.

Same! I'm twelve and a cosplayer and like dark animes like Death Note and Tokyo Ghoul, so I generally get laughed at for being so young, and pointed at. It really helps that I look like I'm anywhere between 14-17 years old, so it helps. Are you tall, average, or small for your age? Because that will help.
I brought all of these things to my first convention and I felt a little over prepared because this was just a small local convention and I only went half the day on Friday and Saturday. But I was glad because I did have to use my repair kit after the straps on my SnK cosplay broke in two different places and I did have to take some advil a couple times. long story short: even if you think you won't need it, bring all of this stuff because I can say you probable will need it. If not for yourself other people may be having problems and if they came unprepared you know you did ;)
I suggest a pillow because you will get tired in line or later. I got really tried at anime expo in the line for the fashion show and I had to use my bag as a pillow.
O.O I had absolutely no problems with my cosplay for my first convention. It went quite smoothly. For my third convention though, one of my horns for my Gamzee cosplay broke off right before a photoshoot (I had hotglue but not enough time) so i ended up putting a pail on my head instead.
I was in a line for a panel at A-kon and I didn't bring my bag as it was late and I didn't think I would need it. I was cosplaying Karkat and I was with a Rin cosplayer and a Gamzee cosplayer. Now we were sitting in line and I was drinking Ramune when I spilt it a bit and it washed my snazzaroo off half my face. I didn't have my bag. Luckily the Gamzee brought snazzaroo and sealer with them and for shits and giggles the Rin put mascara on me. BRING A BAG
Made myself a flamingo staff for my Queen of Hearts cos so I can store all the make-up and repair stuff and food/little water bottle in the body and a strap bag around my thigh under the dress for business cards, pen, ID and quick money. lol

Your first time at a Con can be a little scary but trust me, you'll love it so much and get addicted to them like the rest of us C; (and also be broke 24/7 XD)

hello, I normally cosplay Spain from hetalia and i modeled it after like the tan little uniform he has at times....like the chibi of him you can find on Google...anyway, I use long socks and tape to keep the socks up nice and high, but it eventually slips down.....any tips to keep them up like Bobby bins?
One easy way to keep long socks up is to make elastic garters. They look like extra large hair ties. You can make these by purchasing some 1/4 inch (or similar size) elastic. In the U.S.A., you can find it at craft or fabric stores (or even Wal-Mart). If your sock is kind of translucent or a little bit sheer, try to find an elastic in a similar color as your sock so that the elastic isn't noticeable. Once you have your elastic, take a piece of it and stretch it around your calf or thigh about an inch lower than where the top of your sock needs to hit. Make sure the elastic is a little bit tight, but not cutting off your circulation! It should not hurt at all! Then tie the elastic in a circle. Do the same thing for your other leg. Now you have two big rings of elastic. Once you get it how you like it, use some fabric glue or something like that to secure your knots so that they don't accidentally come undone. Here's how I've worn them: put on your sock like normal, then slide the elastic garter up over your sock almost to the top of your sock. Now fold down an inch of the sock to cover up the garter and you're all set! I hope this helps.

My first con was with my parents because I was 11.. Now that I'm 15 I love going because I'm not with my parents. It was embarrassing going with my mom and dad and I almost didn't even go because my sister was having medical problems
shoua nan chang If you're planning to go for just 1 day, you can buy your tickets at the doors the day of the convention but if you want a weekends pass, you have to buy them online. The convention should have a website ^^
I know im late just promise to pay for the wigs and stuff and say if I do chores for like a week maybe u could get me this wig or horns or stuff? thats how I did it XD my first cosplay was monokuma (Fem version)
