9:15 I understand this. I will never take a photo of someone without their permission. If I did my parents would probably take my phone away lol. They’ve raised me to be a kind, loyal girl, not a creep
Totally agree with the comment of asking groups for help if you're alone and a stranger is creeping on you! I was going to a late night panel with friends long ago (waiting in a long line) and a random girl came up to me, hooked her arm through mine and started talking to us as if we were all close friends. I was super confused before I realized she was trying to escape someone! She asked if she could sit with us at the panel, I agreed and it was a great panel! I never got to say goodbye, but random girl if you're out there; I hope you were able to escape whoever was harrassing you after that panel!! We've all been there; innocently talking to someone when the conversation turns sour or weird, but you're still in a line or un-escapable area :(
I always ask if i can take a picture but sometimes i ask to NOT look at camera and to CONTINUE what they was doing because i want to take picture of how people have fun at con

I have been attending cons consistently since about 2018. And attended my first con back in 2015. And I understand all of these rules. But I remember my early days in cosplaying, and I didn't know these rules as I didn't realize that watching videos or had friends to tell me about what were general rules, suggestions or anything about how to survive a con. Here I have, years later with over 10 cons under my belt as well as over 30 cosplays under my belt. And have been wanting to share my take on what are general rules for cons
Thank you! This was so helpful cuz I’m gonna be going to Anime Boston next week, and this is helping me prepare so much! And I just can’t wait, thank you so much for the tips
Other reasons cash is better than are sometime vendors remove taxes with cash payments, and it prevents sneaky vendors from charging in foreign currency. I'm in Canada, sometime vendors sell something, they charge the exact amount in cash, but will collect in US dollar instead of Canadian dollar by credit card or debit card, so you get overcharged.

9:15 I understand this. I will never take a photo of someone without their permission. If I did my parents would probably take my phone away lol. They’ve raised me to be a kind, loyal girl, not a creep
your entire RUclips channelled is just a cosplay conventions on daily youtube life so we are always at a convention.

Bold of them not to simply sit on the fluffy plush legs behind her butt
