What was you spindle length with out the tension ring? Is the 12.2 mm external bearing measurement including the outer dust ring? How are you findging them so far any issues? Birmingham Small Arms company.
Ha yeah you are right on the bsa! Thanks for the comment and the vid watch.. I will have to measure up, there is an exploeded view and loads of info in the tech specs bit of the hope web page. The crank/bb marry up well. Like I said in the vid hope don't recommend any tensioner or additional spacers on the 30mm spindle. I've put a fair few miles in to these with no issues.
You would need to have a measure up and check the hope and santa cruz Websites pal... Not sure if they ar bsa threaded but they are defo threaded not press fit.. Thanks for the view
Sram DUB cranks have a 28.6mm diameter instead of the 30mm that some cannondale cranks have m8 have you been having any wobbles from your cranks since your install?
No wobbles, this combo of crank and bb are working well. I have probably done 400mile on this set up. No play at all. I just checked the scram website and these cranks are listed as having a 30mm spindle. So this hope 30mm bb is correct. Hope do however do a 29mm spacer kit if you had the 28.6mm... I didn't need that as you saw in the video. Thanks for the view.
Sram dub is 28.99, using with a 30mm bb without the dub conversion kit you’d have to have the preload extra tight to eradicate any play but you will wear the bearings out in no time. Get lots of dub cranks with 30mm bb’s in the shop, all ruined.
