@@trialbyfirepyrography321 By the way another great performance of them: "Joy to the world" at the Hosanna concert. It was the day before the TV Broadcast of the sing off finally. They already know they won but couldn't speak about it.
One of the songs I have been listening to for as long as I can remember. First the LP, later I always had it on one of my cassette tapes, then I got the CD and in recent years I usually have it on one of my playlists. Although many versions had been released in the meantime, it was usually the version by Ben E. King or Otis Redding. But from now on it is the version of Home Free that is on my playlist and no other.😊💖 Alternating the lead between Austin's powerful voice and Rob's silky soulful voice just sounds so beautiful and fantastic. Then the unparalleled vocal percussion, truly phenomenal. The great bass and beautiful harmony are the finishing touch.❤
I'm glad that Ben E. King's classic song has been brought back for new generations to appreciate. I know it's been covered by lots of other artists but Home Free's singing, harmonies & beatboxing are incomparable. Tim, Austin & friends have a live version of this as well: ruclips.net/video/oYqQqojqyZA/видео.htmlsi=0DBoMtILK1DThdkL. T hanks for playing this & your comments.
Love this great classic song from Ben E. King back in 1961. The Home Free guys did an awesome version as always. Love their arrangement on this cover. Great vocal leads by Austin & Rob. Tim's bass really stands out for me in this one. And Adam's tasteful vocal percussion is on point.
Not only does Adam Rupp keep the beat going for a full concert...but he also does a drum solo at each show. He does use a looper to assist with layering, but he creates all the sounds.
I loved their version too. Home Free is known for great harmonies. Left to right is Adam (beatboxer), Rob (glasses) tenor, Austin (redhead) high tenor, Chance (baritone), Tim (bass) with some gray hair. They are all excellent singers and they can all beatbox to a degree. Love them!!! Good one Huda! 😍😄
Home Free did a beautiful job on this song. Adam did a great job on beatboxing and I hear Tim's low bass voice. I agree what you said about HOME FREE WITH THIS SONG.
You need to check out the a cappella groups VoicePlay and The Bass Gang. Tim Foust from Home Free has done videos with both groups, which is how I discovered and fell in love with them. VoicePlay is very theatrical. The Bass Gang is unique, consisting of four bass singers performing from 3 different continents. One of their latest videos is their version of Skull and Bones, written by Adam Chance of Home Free for UbiSoft for their game of the same name. As to this video for Stand By Me, the guy in the middle, Austin Brown stepped away from the group about a week or so ago to work solo and make a home and family with his bride. You'll see her in the many videos he's done in the last several months under his own name. His replacement is a former member from the groups early days by the name of Adam Bastien. This caused a bit of a problem since the last remaining original member, the beatboxer is Adam Rupp and the formerly newest member is Adam Chance. Now they're called by their last names and Tim & Rob are still Tim & Rob
There is just nobody like Home Free. Nobody.
Great reaction! IMHO this is one of their Top 10 and brings new life to an old classic! #HomeFree never disappoints!
Oh you absolutely need to react to them singing their version of Boyz to Men's "End of the Road"
I second your recommendation. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't heard them sing it perfectly.
Agree. Or to "Thinking out loud/Let's get it on"

Adam Rupp is the beatboxer and you should remember his name because he's brilliant.
They are so amazing. I love their version of this song. It was a perfect choice for their voices and style.
So glad you did this one! One of my top #homefree favorites. That's Adam Rupp doing the beatboxing.

Beautiful! I remember the original, when my husband & I were young. Love it.

Excellent job, always live or video 50s threw 80s 😊
This is my favorite track on their As Seen on TV album. It's a celebration of their win on The Sing-Off ten years ago. Great reaction.
👍👍Awesome performance. Great reaction. 🖖❤
You had to love this!!!

#HomeFree did a great job ❤❤ thanks for the reaction ❤❤
This so very awesome. Ben E. King would be so proud. As always Home Free put their own twist on it. Love your reaction!

Adam Rupp is the beat boxer.
