Omg great content! That UPS delivery clip gave the comedic relief I needed wowww 😂
Awesome! I’m glad! 😂
Super funny 😄
I laughed so hard 😅😅😅😅 and then he cut straight to being glad it wasn't damaged, talk about great editing skills 😅😅😅
you're pretty good explaining how to apply the paper, and as an added bonus you show us how to shop online and add things to an amazon cart. So thorough!
Thank you I appreciate it! I’ll try to keep doing things like that!
I see you have the same UPS driver as I do. Everything they can break, they do!
I know! It’s crazy! Haha
Love that delivery guy! 🤣
Gotta love them! 😂
"Dry erase" erasers work great for smoothing bubbles if you are worried about scraping thru the paper accidentally.
Oh yeah I didn’t think about that! Good idea!
It looks great !! I’m going to try it ! Thanks
I have this same wallpaper and was afraid I wouldn't be able to do it by myself, so thank you I feel confident that I can do it now!
That’s awesome! I’m so glad! I’m sure you’ll nail it 😉
I like it also, or something similar. I am also considering a rustic brick pattern.
That wallpaper is fantastic!
Thanks for the simple tips! Gonna do an accent wall on our RV.
Your way of explanation is so simple, not complicated, easy to understand. Diffently i will learn by the easiest way.
Thank you I appreciate it! Glad it helped!
Well done! This video will definitely help me through this process as well as your responses to the comments! Thanks a mil!🥰
You’re welcome 😊
Amazing work! It looks great! I used exactly the same wallpaper. Thank you!
Awesome! Yeah it’s awesome stuff! Glad it help! And thank you for watching!
Love it !!!
This is a great idea, I cannot wait to try this in my laundry room.
Yeah it really changes the room! Give it a try and good luck! Let me know if you have any questions!
Very nice attempted to do it was a disaster think will try regular wallpaper maybe not LOL :) Great Job !!!
You definately mail this project. Great stuff
Thank you!
Excellent tutorial! looks like we have the same UPS driver 😆
Thanks for the help pal
Thanks for the tip. So much better than previous videos I've watched. I am getting a sample of this stuff come through soon as I liked the colour of it better than the actually tile tpyes but this one comes all in one so I was abit concerned. Do you know if it removes without damage to surface underneath as I live in rented accommodation? Many thanks for the excellent informative tutorial and the pro tip. Making the mistake so we don't have to although it does advise on the product to take a bit of the adhesive off at a time. It's the bubbles I worry about but they do sell a felt applicator seperately
Nice job but many of us encounter problems. As you roll it out you may find either the alignment is veering off as you struggle to avoid bubbles or self-sticking.
As you roll it out I find it necessary to stop every couple feet to cut off the excess backing as it begins to weigh on the roll.
Patterns: weathered wood looks good but old brick is also good and doesn’t require the tricky horizontal method.
I did an updated video! You may find some of those tricks helpful! You can watch that here:

awesome. you convinced me I can do rolled paper instead of cut sheets.
Nice job buddy ❤️
Thanks!
very nice bro
Great thanks 😊
Lmfaooo 😂😂😂 The UPS guy though. I feel his pain lol I hated delivering packages too!!! Lmaoo That was great!!!
Looks nice👍👍👍👍👍👌👏
Thank you! I appreciate it! 😊
Good job 👍🏻
Thank you! That means a lot!
Not the window breaking sound effect 🤣🤣
Amazon delivery is awesome 🤣
Installing a different wood pattern I found off Amazon. Looks like same style brand you had put up. I just re sheet rocked my kitchen wall, hopefully it sticks to sheet rock? Shouldn’t be too textured I would imagine
Nice work looks like real wood have just subscribed to your channel 👍 keep up the good work
Wow thanks I appreciate it!
@@BlakeHQ your so welcome
Used the same exact paper and used it in my kitchen.
That’s awesome! I’m glad you liked it!
Great video! I love the simplicity and clarity.
Do you think this could be used in a bathroom? I am wondering if it can handle the shower moisture.
Thank you!
I think if you find a good quality one you should be fine to use it in a bathroom!
Do you prep the walls at all?😊
I am a new subscriber I have slight texture on my wall would I serio be able to use peel n stick? For a playroom
you make this look so easy but I can't put it straight like you do. Had to purchase 4 more rolls because I screwed up a few times. Do you use a level also? How do you get it so straight? You're really good!
Well thank you I appreciate it! No I don’t use a level, I just pull a couple of feet off of the roll and line it up with the row above it. I also rely heavily on the ability to “unstick” it and then try again. If you mess up, I just pull it off slightly and try to make sure it as straight as possible. It is also really important to get it straight from the beginning of the row! Hopefully this is making sense! I’m sorry you had to buy more rolls :( I also have another video on my channel that might help? You could check that one out as well! That video is for vertical installation but it still has some great tips. Hope that helps! Keep it up and great job for tackling it yourself!
Wow
looks great! : )
Thank you so much! I appreciate your comment! :)
@@BlakeHQ you're welcome! : ) have you been working on any thing new?
Yes! I have a new video coming out on Saturday!
@@BlakeHQ NICE! : )
How do you keep it sticking to the wall
Mine has got parts coming back off. Is it too hot in my room?
Great 👍🏽
Thank you!!
Wow!
Thank you!
I don't get how you did it so quick and got it level. I would think that would be the hardest part.
Ups delivery was hysterical
Lol thanks!
I like how the UPS guy threw the box 😂
Hope you sent that video to Amazon as that wallpaper would have been free😊
If you use heat blow dryer it seall it to wall better
How about connecting corners?
Make it look so easy to do.
With a little practice I’m sure it will come easy for you as well!
nice
Thank you! 😊
Hey I have popcorn texture walls in my apartment but I really want to do a wallpaper like this. Do you have any suggestions for substitutes since it looks like this may not work on textured walls? Thanks!
I replied on the other video you commented on!
try using a textured wallpaper instead of smooth
@@BlakeHQ can you let us know here?
It looks like contact paper or the same stuff used for lining cabinets.
Yeah It’s pretty close to that!
Very odd to go on youtube to find out how to put up peal and stick wallpaper and you are putting up the same paper I bought. I'm doing mine as a wains cotting.
Haha awesome! I hope the video helped you out! I also have recently made another video explaining a little bit more on how it sticks to walls and also a few more techniques. So if you need more info go check it out! I’m sure it will look great and good luck!
For the seams, did you just slightly overlap or butt it up? Looks nice. Thanks
It depends on your pattern mostly but for the pattern I used, yes I overlapped it about a 1/4”!
Don't try to line it up...you will end up committing suicide
If you overlapped did you go back over it with a sharp knife and cut off the small overlap section?
No! I wouldn’t! It’s not necessary and you would risk cutting your wall!
how do you deal with panels coming off the wall weeks later? I have tried cleaning the wall but doesnt help
Great question! Let me just say a few things and you can let me know if you have tried them or not.
1. Are you making sure all of the bubbles are out when applying it?
2. When you are cleaning the wall are you using a degreaser chemical (if you are applying it in say a kitchen, there could be oil and grease that is making it not stick to the wall)?
3. What kind of wallpaper are you using? Did you get it off Amazon and are other people having the same issue? If so you may want to get a different brand of wallpaper and try that.
4. Have you watched my other video on installing wallpaper? I have a couple new techniques on how to apply it.
5. Do you have a lot of texture on your walls? This may also be an issue depending on how textured your wall is.
Hope that maybe gives you a couple of ideas. If not let me know and I will see if I can come up with something else!
@@BlakeHQ I mean I think so. I’ll check
The ups driver. Omg. 😭😭😭
Lol! 😂
You actually have what it takes to hang wallpaper.
So for this peel and stick wallpaper, we don't have to apply any water before applying them to the wall sir?
To answer your question... No, I didn’t use water to apply any of my wall paper but it wouldn’t hurt to wash the wall if it’s dirty. My walls are new so I didn’t feel like I needed to clean them. Just make sure that if you do wash them, you let the wall dry before applying the wallpaper. Hope that helps!
@@BlakeHQ thank you sir, you really nailed it with you quick respond and answer! Subscribed!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the future videos as well!
Its better to start from the bottom, eventually it will peel off if you start from the top, water, dust can go in there.
Wait was that Amazon or were u playing😂
Lol😂
Your UPS delivery must be closely related to my DPD delivery person🚚!
The real test of course would be to show us your finished product with a flashlight shining on it while your room is otherwise in the dark. Then we could see if you got rid of all the bubbles.
Fair?
Fair! I still think I would past that test! That method worked very well!
If you need a flashlight to find the flaws you don’t need to worry about them.
@@stephenpowstinger733 sir, I wish that were the case! Let me say it again….if you hang wallpaper for a living as I do….customers pay you and call you back by noon the next day….sometimes 50+ miles away to….COME BACK and run a bubble out of the wallpaper; therefore, use a flashlight to rule out the presence of bubbles otherwise unable to be seen at dusk…because at dawn, YOU WILL SEE THEM!! ruclips.net/user/spencercolgan
@@spencercolgan You are absolutely correct. And I applaud you for doing so many videos on self stick...I did only one on the subject -----ruclips.net/video/_katEE1fG-A-/видео.html-- basically because I was tired of explaining to my customers why I don't install them due to the massive quality problems with most of these self sticks. I just tell them to go my YT video to save my breath.
Yes, self sticks are UNBACKED vinyl like contact paper not wallpaper. Backing with paper, nonwoven, or cotton fabric makes wallcovering dimensionally stable--plain vinyl sheeting like self sticks have is NOT stable. Yes, people complain that they come loose from the wall as early as a month later--dig deeper and read the 1 star reviews of these offerings. Yes, most instructions say your walls must be smooth and by that they warn against "orange peel" texture left by paint rollers which pretty much everyone in the world has on their walls painted with latex paint/roller combo.
I check all my work with a CREE flashlight before leaving. If you finish a job in the late afternoon and the sun is on the other side of the house just wait until the customer enters the room next morning when the sun is streaming through the window and bubbles and seams show all over the place! There would be a stop order on that check they gave you the day before until you could come back and somehow fix it--- Good luck fixing this SS crap too. As i say, it isn't really wallpaper (which often can be fixed with some simple techniques.)
And sorry, Nailed It , that material you hung had a pattern repeat which you didn't pay attention to. Just look at how the pronounced darker wood knots are out of whack. The top sheet is offset matched with the next one down the wall but then the 3rd one down is hung as a straight across match to the 2nd sheet. Because of that, the background color which is supposed to flow into the next sheet looks chopped off. If a pro did that their phone would be melting down from a pissed off customer and they likely would have to rip it down, redo it or refund the money for the job. Cheers Jim Parodi.
@@doctorairflow coming from the fact that you are the Babe Ruth of wallpaper hanging, I take this compliment very very graciously and with much appreciation Mr. Parodi. Thank you for.it.
How would we know how much to buy on amazon?
You’ll need to measure the width and height of your wall and then times them together to get your total square footage! Then look up on Amazon how much your roll with cover in square footage! Check out this video for a little more detail!
ruclips.net/video/1WX3Gjmkmjw/видео.html
Let me know if that’s answers your question and if not I’ll try to explain a different way!
@@BlakeHQ thanks for the response! Ill subscribe for that response, as your reward
Thanks! Glad it helped!
Agree but you should make sure you have enough if you have to waste sections to align a pattern.
nice but i did mine all the way down to the baseboard
that UPS footage is yours? lol
Yes lol
Your laundry room is bigger than my apartment.
Holly Shit!! That UPS guy sucks!!
What's up with wallpaper made to look like wood or stone? That's all you can find in the stores now. No imagination.
The wall paper you have so nicely installed is of panel board, or just old fashion board, you put it on wrong dirrection!!
That’s so messed up how he threw yo ish like that smh.
Bottom line is self stick wallpaper SUCKS……
People sure know how to go off their way to make Amazon looks bad. Just look at the size of the box does it look like a 18 inches roll can fit into that box. Shame on you starting your video with a so call amazon worker. You are so lucky Amazon didn't sue you.
