  • Recorded for the Alice Cooper album ‘Detroit Stories’, Steve revisits his own solo from the 1970 Mitch Ryder and Detroit version. Steve’s arrangement of this Lou Reed song with Mitch Ryder, caught the attention of Lou who later hired both Bob Ezrin and Steve for his 1973 album ‘Berlin’.

Great playing and great licks but, what really sets you apart is your awesome vibrato! Love it. Cheers, Andy.

Steve (N.1) fammi riascoltare la magia della tua chitarra nel brano "Heroin" con Dick Wagner e Lou Reed

Oh....I thought that was Jim Mcarty on that solo, well I'm not surprised since Steve also did a great job on the lead to Aerosmith's version of train kept a rollin on the get your wings album. And dick wagner did the ending leads on that song.

Steve, you are one of the GREATS - especially with your right hand picking in coordination with your left hand note stacking on your solos.

Steve, did you play the second solo in "walk this way" with out using the B string? Phil X thinks so, he said that on a tutorial video on a 56 strat hard tail.

I keep finding famous people from the ancient past (hehe) having YT channels. This is my chance, and I will take it: The Deacon is one of my favourites, despite you having to write a lot and fast. It does not feel cheap at all, and has a mood all of its own. Thank you for making it. If you want to reissue it ever, a good label is Music on CD (generic name, I know), Wishbone Ash already worked with them. But you must send them high res scans of the album art, or they will do an average replication that will look like slightly smudged and blurry step down from the original pressing. But the sound will be 100% identical.

We tap all that we have, in memory, and the fingers recognize the touch ... the feel. The depth that our whole being manifests ... our fingers and the strings become one, and we extend the soul's vibration to meet the energy and frequencies that propagate their waves through space and time. Memory is all that matters. ;)
