The point to retain is that it makes it easier to abstain from porn. If you quit porn but keep masturbating, you're more likely to have cravings for porn afterwards. That's just based on peoples experience, it might be different from person to person
For me it did nothing. I did it for 3 months, but then I stopped because I didn't see any difference in energy, motivation, or confidence. But I already have good energy most of the time so I guess that's why. Maybe for someone that has low energy it could help. But for me, didn't change a thing.

As a man who has been in the medical field for over 25 years, I don’t think the lady knows what she is talking about. First of all, she is not a man so she doesn’t know what it feels like mentally and physically to do no fap as a man. Second of all, The man on the panel actually has a better understanding of the benefits of no fap, which are mental and spiritual benefits that ultimately lead to physical benefits. So, although it may not raise testosterone levels initially, cutting out porn and fapping is overall a good thing for the sole reason that the time you would be spending fapping can be replaced by physical exercise and sleep which have been scientifically proven to increase testosterone levels.
But cutting out porn is a different thing. You shouldn't combine both together as essentially required, one does not require the other. Avoiding porn is important for mental health etc and it avoids an addictive response which is of course healthy. That doesn't mean that you need to 'no fap', just don't spend all your time doing it, just be moderate as you would with anything else 😂

As someone who tried no fap for over 3 months, they are both right. These people who create videos on how you'll get all of these women's attention and you'll get "superpowers" need to stop. It might not have measurable bio markers associated with the quality of life that can come from retaining but there is certainly a spiritual aspect of keeping ur nut and I believe that’s where the boosts to quality of life are felt. Yup I remember going through a period of "No Fap" and when I relapsed I went in so hard that I was handling business multiple times a day. It was really bad. White knuckling it is definitely not the way. Gradually lower the amount of times to the point where you can stop and it won't be that much or any issue.

If you’re a religious man, nofap is the way to go. I’ve been doing nofap for almost 2 years and I can testify that I have been healthy. I will also admit that nocturnal emissions do come by more frequently. The most frequent rate of nocturnal emissions for me was once a week. Nofap does not allow us to become superheroes and rizzlers. Instead, it gives us the physiology and “freshness” that resembles a child. It brings us back to square one.

I tried no fap for over 3 months and have stopped. I still work out nearly every day. Masturbation helps relax the pelvic floor after ejaculation, which I unfortunately need as otherwise it starts to hurt and other not so fun symptoms appear. It just needs to be done without porn and only in moderation, in my experience. Everyone is different though. What works for me won't work for the next person.
what I joke. When I was doing 2 trainings a day my testosteron was so high I had to masturbate min once a day. I was still very productive in all areas. When my life become sedentary is when I noticed my libido dropping but out of habit still chocked the chicken. After I had no energy to do anything during the day. I think today, most people have atleast more than a few addictions. People today are hooked on alcohol, caffeine (me), tobacco, food, games, XXX content, masturbation, social media, news, etc. I have had my fair share of addictions, some of which I still deal with. While I don't think there is anything wrong with masturbation or watching XXX content on occasion, I do think that when you see yourself retreating from life to indulge, thats when you have a problem. With content being more and more prevalent today than ever before, there's no secret as to why so many men are addicted to it. So if fertility in semen rises after 5 days retention, since semen retention is an ancient discipline, one could argue that ladies can "sniff out" from a far a man who's content within themselves while either practicing or not "no fap" - it will then depend on the lady who's noticing - is she into fidelity, celibacy etc or not. I hate the argument "there's nothing to prove it in the literature". So there's nothing to prove it in the literature, therefor it must be wrong? There seems to be an overlap with self improvement in general. As a man who has been in the medical field for over 25 years, I don’t think the lady knows what she is talking about. First of all, she is not a man so she doesn’t know what it feels like mentally and physically to do no fap as a man.
Second of all, The man on the panel actually has a better understanding of the benefits of no fap, which are mental and spiritual benefits that ultimately lead to physical benefits. So, although it may not raise testosterone levels initially, cutting out porn and fapping is overall a good thing for the sole reason that the time you would be spending fapping can be replaced by physical exercise and sleep which have been scientifically proven to increase testosterone levels.

As someone who tried no fap for over 3 months, they are both right. These people who create videos on how you'll get all of these women's attention and you'll get "superpowers" need to stop. It's not true, at least not in my case. The only positive things were a little more energy I could use for working out and a little more confidence that I was doing something most men don't do. Every spiritual/mystical sect has practices around releasing energy in this way. It might not have measurable bio markers associated with the quality of life that can come from retaining but there is certainly a spiritual aspect of keeping ur nut and I believe that’s where the boosts to quality of life are felt. If you’re a religious man, nofap is the way to go. I’ve been doing nofap for almost 2 years and I can testify that I have been healthy. I will also admit that nocturnal emissions do come by more frequently. The most frequent rate of nocturnal emissions for me was once a week. Nofap does not allow us to become superheroes and rizzlers. Instead, it gives us the physiology and “freshness” that resembles a child. It brings us back to square one.

I tried no fap for over 3 months and have stopped. I still work out nearly every day. Masturbation helps relax the pelvic floor after ejaculation, which I unfortunately need as otherwise it starts to hurt and other not so fun symptoms appear. It just needs to be done without porn and only in moderation, in my experience. Everyone is different though. What works for me won't work for the next person.

what I joke. When I was doing 2 trainings a day my testosteron was so high I had to masturbate min once a day. I was still very productive in all areas. When my life become sedentary is when I noticed my libido dropping but out of habit still chocked the chicken. After I had no energy to do anything during the day. I get easily distracted most of the time. 4 young kids running around the house will do that. I have my suspicions about Test lvls through the roof but haven't had my bloodwork done during that time. I'll check it out this year. With regards to the gym, more energy and heavier weights. I go from 65lb DB Inclines to 75-80lbs DB inclines for example. Same for pulls and legs. 100% have less patience though. That's a downside and gotta be careful about that one, especially with the little ones.

I think today, most people have atleast more than a few addictions. People today are hooked on alcohol, caffeine (me), tobacco, food, games, XXX content, masturbation, social media, news, etc. I have had my fair share of addictions, some of which I still deal with. While I don't think there is anything wrong with masturbation or watching XXX content on occasion, I do think that when you see yourself retreating from life to indulge, thats when you have a problem. With content being more and more prevalent today than ever before, there's no secret as to why so many men are addicted to it. IMO when you find yourself unsatisfied with your own relationships because they dont resemble what you see on screen, then you have a real problem. Just like how women today are hooked on social media and validation. For me, real power comes from controlling those addictions.

Yes what you say is true but her main point was doing it for too long can lead to mutations in your sperm and cause dna damage , it doesn't matter how many people are abstaining from masturbation you're not gonna feel or notice changes to your dna and genetic structure , you could be doing something that effects your offspring and not even yourself , this is scientific fact aswell , you are also an animal , you need some form of sexual release whether it be by yourself or with a woman , you can also be addicted to sex , I don't see anyone talking about abstaining from sex , it seems to be mostly people who can't get a girlfriend and they're addicted to porn so they stop masturbating and that's great , but if 99% of them had a girlfriend they wouldn't be abstaining from sex with them, yes sex with another person and masturbation are vastly different but they are also similar in alot of ways , the fundamental point is that you shouldnt abstain from ejaculations for too long because mutations can happen in your sperm , so whether you masturbate or have sex it doesn't matter , just don't be an addict to either of them , the fundamental issue here isn't that people are wanking it's addiction 😂
So if fertility in semen rises after 5 days retention, since semen retention is an ancient discipline, one could argue that ladies can "sniff out" from a far a man who's content within themselves while either practicing or not "no fap" - it will then depend on the lady who's noticing - is she into fidelity, celibacy etc or not. I.e a different lady will notice in a differing way, a different aspect of a semen retaining man's behaviour. It's all very subjective, but the biological "glow" benefits a man gets when he retains for longer periods are undeniable.

The human condition has many issues. We want to feel good. If you are craving a cheesburger the craving goes away once you have it. I'm going to bet the farm that you will have at least one more chessburger craving in your lifetime. You eat to only get hungry again. You sleep only to get tired again. I hate the argument "there's nothing to prove it in the literature". So there's nothing to prove it in the literature, therefor it must be wrong?

There seems to be an overlap with self improvement in general. If someone goes from doing nothing, to setting goals, working out, eating better and just overall moving in a more positive direction its hard to say how much of an impact nofap actually had by itself. When you look at the whole picture nofap may be negligible. That's why we have controlled trials.

These people are talking casually about rules god set up for us as humans to obey. If you have to jump through 30 scientific hoops to get to the conclusion that watching porn is a sin, and masturbation of self gratification then so be it. To all the men that don't think no fap isn't real. Go 1 week retention. The main two benefits you feel is increased energy and a slightly deeper voice. After one week take note of what ive said. Now release atleast 2, better off 3 times in a day. I guarantee you'll notice a difference in your tone of voice and you'll feel like crap. Once you try this out and see it works. You can imagine what other benefits you'll get. Some of the other benefits you'll get is less social anxiety, stronger joints(cracking knees for example is reduced) better recovery, more focus, stronger nails and hair. These are some of the things ive noticed.
