    For a mounting options, we put a couple of Arca-Swiss mounts on the top of some heavy mic stands, works great.

    I can't find the Tokina Lens you mentioned for your drum Cam, are using an adaptor for Micro 4/3? Thanks this really Helped!

      We are adapting the canon version. This one looks good www.ebay.com/itm/Tokina-AT-X-PRO-11-16mm-f-2-8-DX-AF-Lens-For-Canon-/274960746820?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
      Then just use a simple adapter like this one. amzn.to/39D1NVW

    Have you experimented with using slider in vertical setup?

      I have looked at using a slypod for that. These can do an incline but not vertical.

    How long do the batteries last?

    • @RylandRussell
      @RylandRussell  3 года назад

      I’d say the npf you get with it will run it for about 2-3 hours 🤷🏼‍♂️. Ours are powered via dc. You could get bigger Sony npf batteries though.

    What kind of tripod do you use for your sliders? We have the ROV sliders and they tend to rock from side to side as the camera approaches the end and makes it heavier than the other side.

      I never support with only one tripod in the middle. I have used mic stands with 1/2 adapters. Manfrottos, libec etc. but usually we either sit on a flat surface or use the stands I linked to in the description. 👍🏻

    How loud are the motors on the sliders?

    • @RylandRussell
      @RylandRussell  3 года назад

      The motors are pretty quiet. It's not silent, but I've never had a member of the congregation complain or even mention it. Unless you are in a completely silent room you'll be fine. The ambient noise of our movers fans, the audio systems etc, I've never worried about it.
