    3 or 4 or 5 axis recording
    The attachment of the RONIN-S / RS 2 stabilizer or Zhiyun on the electric cursor YC Onion opens the door with amazing 3-, 4- or 5-axis camera movements, which are controlled by a YC Onion app (note: the package does not include the RONIN-S / RS 2 stabilizer or ZZhiyon. hiyun stabilizer.
    Additional RONIN-S / RS 2 module needed, if you want the cursor to work with the RONIN-S / RS 2 stabilizer)
    Generation 3.0 Super Motor
    The new engine breaks the limits of payload. The slider supports up to 20 kg/44.09 lb in horizontal position and 14 kg/30.8 lb at 45 ° angle and 6 kg/13.22 lb in vertical position. Matching this load capacity, the all-carbon fiber rails with a thickness of 2.2 mm and the stainless steel are machined to micron accuracy for smooth slides. (Note: the engine is not recommended for use during an interview)
    Manual and automatic options
    The silent detachable slide motor allows you to perform the manual and electrical switch in seconds. In addition, you can use the motor via reliable wireless bluetooth or by pressing the motor button.
    Free your creative potential
    With an extremely slow speed, the recording can be accelerated without the trigger. Each key image function and variable segment speed can be set to program complex movements for time intervals, visual effects or other complex images.

    God bless you for this video, I have been shooting RUclips videos for a while as a hobby, because I am officer at night. The only gear I update is my Camera (I am a Panasonic shooter currently using the GH6 and GH5) and never update other gears. I am still using a slider from 2016, didn't jump on gimbal wave because I thought I would never need it since I shot most products on a table. You made me see the Light!!!!!!!!! I ordered everything I could make out from this video. I wished you had Amazon affiliate links so I could use them for you. The stand is not sold in the USA but I found a variation of it. I am going for the new HOT DOG SE Motorized Slider because it's new, if it does not hold up my gear then I'd have to go for your exact model. I will let you know when everything is delivered and setup. Thank you again brother.

    What manufacturer rolling light stand with the pole attachments , that go up and down did you purchase ? I like your set up for holding the slider inverted?
    I’ve called both Adorama and B&H & they are having a hard time suggesting the right stand with adjustable pole camera mounts arms .

    Hi -- love this video, thank you! I've been struggling how to rig the slider so that it is inverted (upside down). I can see in your video there is an arm attached to the vertical pole. Can you share what arm that is? And do you simply attach the arm to a ball head and then the ball head to the bottom plate of the slider?

    • @suli-man
      @suli-man  6 дней назад

      Hello, i used slider arm support but you can use any rod or monopod just attache ball head to both end or you can also attached the rod via ballhead and super clamp to connected to the pol and the sencond end connect to slider via ballhead to make the angle adjustment

I'm wondering why you switched to this slider after ifootage?

    A question: I have just ordered 80cms. My intention is product shot mainly. I have ronin rs3 pro. My question is about the size you recommend. I have 80cms but I am having doubts if 100cms or 120cms would be more versatile and recommended. What are your recommendations about the proper size of slider?

    • @suli-man
      @suli-man  Год назад

      The longer the slider the more option you will have spacialy if you are using it with Gimbal but keep in mind if you want to mount the slider the way I did on a single stand then the smaller he slider will be more easy to mount and properly balance the slider, If you want to mount your slider on tripod or 2 light stand then go for longer one.
      Mounting 100cm or 120cm on a single arm need proper rigging as i did in my video because when the gimbal and camera sliding its shifting the weight and making it unstable on single stand unless you support the slider from two end by supporting arm. but smaller slider will be much easy.

    As you know the very little booklet the slider comes with has very little information on the actual connection sequence: example push this button 3 times , wait 2 minutes then repeat , blah blah blah .
    There must be a very proven order of things I’m not understanding to properly connect my iOS phone to connect to the Bun motor.

    just bought a hotdog v3 and bun to use with my Crane 3 Lab, and i'm a little disappointed to be honest. The gimbal and slider do NOT sync up, so you program in your waypoints and by the time the slider gets to even the first waypoint, the subject/object is not in the part of the frame that you want it to be. I'm not saying it's completely useless, but it's not good. You can't use it to shoot products expecting professional results. If you want to dolly across to a subject and the pan as you go by, that's not happening. You just dont know when it's going to start the pan. So, you have to do it by hand. If you're going to do it by hand then you're better off buying a cheaper motorised slider. I suppose it would be alright doing landscapes and stuff, but as for in studio. I wouldn't buy one. Also as a side note. I didn't receive a spare belt and thread adapter with mine. The slider comes with a 3/8 thread on it so you can't mount a dslr directly onto it, or even a gimbal, you need a 1/4. Many of the video's you see state that the adapter comes with the slider along with a spare band for the motor, it doesn't. So to buy an adapter you can get a cheap one off amazon for $12/$10, but, once it's tight the camera might not point in the correct direction. To buy an adjustable adapter you're talking an extra £35/$40 for the very cheapest and about £100/$120 for a good one. Just be aware of this. Can I recommend it? Not without a firmware update fixing the sync issue. But my guess it isn't going to be fixed. When the slider came out 2 years ago this issue was highlighted. A firmware update was mentioned as a solution, but it's never happened. If it's not been fixed by now, they aint fixing it. Basically, this is good as a toy or a hobby.
    The other problem I've found is that if you create a waypoint and then move the slider and create a second, it doesnt slowly move to the second point. It will hit the first point and stay on it until until it moves to the second point, and then jump to that. It would be better if it slowly went form point to poin. That way you can "track" a subject. There needs to be 2 video modes, a point select, and a drag mode. What you actually can do is create a first point and then use the joystick on the gimbal to track the object, as the app records what you do with the gimbal between setting a and b. The problem with that is this, if ive already completed the move by hand, what do i need the app for?
    The app really is limited in this regards. Be aware of the limitations before you buy one.
