As others have said, "Grinded"? Also, I am 99.9% sure they don't store the peanut butter in jars like that, that would be highly inefficient. That looks like stock footage of peanut butter jars being filled for resale. I'm sure it is stored in giant tubs where it can be moved to the dispensers. Watch any other food "How it's made" shows that use actual footage, not clips they found on the internet, to see how they process large quantities.

@@daveklein2826 Prove that they don’t? Ok, try this on for size:
      1) inefficiency
      2) extra cost (which cuts into profit margin)
      3) waste (ever try to squeegee the last few grams of peanut butter from the bottom of jar?)
      4) increased storage space
      5) addition of a cleaning/sterilization process each time a jar is reused
      6) increased labor costs
The peanut butter that goes into the peanut butter cups never leaves the production line. After it’s mixed, it’s pumped through stainless steel tubing directly into the waiting cups. Let’s consider some facts here: They process over a million pounds of peanuts daily. Their machinery packages more than 800 units per minute. The idea that they have somebody (thousands of somebodies?) that are being paid by the hour to scoop peanut butter from jars at this pace is laughable.

Thanks for the video. I've always enjoyed Reese's. However, I've learned from experience that on a hot summer day they should be kept in a cooler or somewhere else where they won't melt, like the dash of a car. LOL 😊😊😊

Best candy in the world! Only problem is that you created the BIG CUP, and now I cannot be happy with any other RPBC except the BIG CUPs! (It is embarrassing to be seen purchasing those huge cups too! LOL) But kudos to whomever came up with that most exquisite idea!

Like other companies, they sold out to the big oil companies and started packaging their products in those square plastic jars, creating a bigger plastic footprint on our planet. They should have kept using the bags. It was so much less consumer waste.

Peanut butter cups that taste exactly like those can be easily made at home. I know because I used to make them and they were indistinguishable from the real thing.

3:40 Of course the peanut butter that is filled in jars will not be used for further production of the PB cups, it's sold as it is in the jars. Peanut butter for their further production is kept in more practical storage.

Putting peanut butter in jars is more likely to be sold as peanut butter not being stored to use later in peanut butter cups.

The first time (and only time) that I ate Reese's Pieces I was shocked to find out I did not like them. Especially since Reese's Peanut Butter cups are my very favorite candy. I could not believe how much different they tasted than the cups. So I bit into another one so I could look at the inside. To my horror I discovered that it contained no chocolate!! Just peanut butter covered in a candy coating! Who would have ever guessed that Reese's Pieces weren't made of peanut butter and chocolate? What idiot management made that decision?
