Aaaand how do you think ink is removed? By using that product that's more abrasive and it essentially scours off a fine layer of paper, which removes the ink.
They just said the blue had pumice, which provided extra abrasiveness for ink. 13:41 I suppose it would work for heavier pencils, but heavier paper tends to flake away more easily than regular paper.

During some early seasons, the intro for the segment was underscored by the show's theme song, so they had to fit all the information into the length of one 20-second theme song snippet. Hence, the narration was sometimes faster.

Yep, montblanc pens can cost as much as a down payment for a house. Nowadays a lot of fountain pen users are collectors so a normal pen can be sold at $33,000 because it’s a luxury item. Thankfully not all fountain pens are that expensive and you can buy good quality pens for cheap if you’re just interested in having a fountain pen.
I don’t think the blue part of the eraser is meant to erase pen, it’s really just meant for erasing harder pencils on rougher paper… why pink and blue colouring though, I wonder?
Crayons: I used them a few times as a kid. So not entirely accurate. Pencil: upgraded to drawing in pencil at around 6 or 7 Pen: upgraded and integrated pen and pencil, #2 Ticonderoga and Bic stick., mead RSVP, , pilot pens since I was 14, Paint: upgraded at 27 😂 my whole artistic life was less crayon, hell, felt tip marker and permanent marker got more attention than crayons did. Including colored pencil.

be mindful not all ink is erase able. the pen type eraser mate 2 black or blue the problem i always had was ink flow either the ink was old who knows. But if your teaching students to write with ink pens sometimes you gotta scribble or wet your finger tip to lubricate the roller ball. Speed running crayon lore is crazy
They spent so much of the budget getting footage of STAEDTLER pencils and Aurora fountain pens that they had to resort to Rose Art for the crayons 😭
I don't care what the Crayola stans say, RoseArt was always the GOAT.
@@dinohall2595why..?
Rose Art crayons and Guilderstern are dead.
@@X11CHASE The wax rubbed off so much more smoothly than Crayola iirc
Best pencil brand
The blue side of the bi-color erasers is _not_ for ink, but heavier paper that requires a bit more tooth to remove graphite.
ooo i didn't know this and im literally getting my fine art degree next year. womp womp.

Glad you know more than the manufacturer lmao; you know they write/approve the script before the voiceover is done??

Right on time for another good nights rest, thank you science channel ❤️
I also like watching How it’s Made before bed lol
Right
Why is that pencil music such a BOP?
It has no business going so hard. Why am I grooving over here?

Making erasers looks like such a pain. Don't they know they can just go buy some?
Where are you supposed to buy any if nobody's making the erasers so you can buy them?
I think hes joking

Marines eat at least a pack a day of crayons to get through the rigors of basic training. Crayola is their favorite.
It’s “Boot Camp”… and we take the crayons from the Army while they are in nap time! 😂

Man, those Aurora pens are pricey! Then again, they are mostly hand made to perfection.
Explains the $1,000 bare minimum price tag
I’m glad he says crayon right!
Any other Marines lookin at those crayons? 🖍 👀

Marines would *never* go for RoseArt 🤢
They exclusively get Crayola.
Camp that isle if you're looking for Marines. ❤
