Wintergrass 2018: Vintage Guitar Workshop | Fretboard Journal

Every year at Wintergrass, the Fretboard Journal magazine hosts a vintage instrument workshop where great players get to perform and comment on a few dozen rare and vintage guitars. For 2018, guitarists Eli West and Kenny Smith took the stage and auditioned various vintage Martins, Gibsons, Washburns and others.

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop--some of the most tasteful playing and discussion on vintage guitars Wintergrass has ever showcased. The uniqueness of each guitar was very apparent; from the old Washburns and Regals/Recording Kings to the Martins, there was something here for everyone. Bravo!
