Dave Grisman & Kenny Smith-Tone Poems Live-Wintergrass 2013

Wintergrass 2013 in Bellvue Washington David Grisman and Kenny Smith presented a live Tone Poems guitar and mandolin tasting for the public. This was hosted by Fretboard Journal magazine. The room was full with enthusiasts of fine instruments and fans of David and Kenny. The audio is a little muffled because I could not get in front of the speakers or get a board feed, but I've done what I could to capture the moment. I hope you enjoy it.

Great stuff. You can hear long ago music with these instruments, played lovingly by great players. Kenny is world class as a guitar artist.

Great show obviously . . . the Dawg's the Dawg . . . . but unfortunately the camera placement and useage is terrible. Can not see the instruments as they are being described and you can't see the best part . . . the actual picking! Oh well, at least the sound was on and the batteries didn't die! Go around to the other side next time.
