agi axes on hc are 4th bis, list goes as follows: sd hc's > hom hcs > sd normals > agi axe hcs >hom normals > agi axe normal

this is also a viable frost dw spec (some say its better than the typical frost dw, others say different stuff... but some users requested that guide... so here it is ^^)

Nearly all bosses in DS have Multiple Targets and if you play it perfectly its ahead, for my opinion and many others - but you need 4pt13 aswell (didnt want to make that vid but didnt found any useful stuff anywhere + was requested by many users.

no, some say masterfrost is best spec, some say no... the main reason why i played frost dw standard on spine heroic is, im not allowed to use howling blast in p3.

This is a different type of spec, since it's main attack is HB it means that frost damage will be first priority to increase, not haste. This in turn means that mastery gives greater value than haste(this is not the case with the regular dps that uses obliterate more and is more reliant on the procs that the frost tree provides). I would recommend you tried both before flaming the next time.(Masterfrost does more dps for me, and is more fun imo)
true but from what I see from the rotations part is that you only use Obliterate whenever you need to put a single unholy rune on CD if you don't need to reapply Blood Plague.
True. Figured there would be more ticks to add up to more damage but might not considering how little the dots do do.

you have to play mastefrost perfectly to get the dps you want / need. some say its better then regular frost dw, some say its not. i think its boss depending.

Howlinjg Blast is your Main Spell... if you say thats normal for you then you always played the regular frost dw wrong
i cannot tell you, in my opinion frost dw is better singletarget and masterfrost is awesome at encounters where you can bomb adds or whatever

Howling Blast takes 1 rune, Obliterate takes 2 runes and only that it hits harder doesnt mean that it does more dmg at all. you need to watch the typical Frost DW Guide i made ;) and you will laugh... this spec (masterfrost) should be better in ds on near all bosses because of insane AOE.

did you even watch the video? or know how regular frost dk is played?
like i said, i got my infos from a dk who got double souldrinker hc, double agi axe hc and gurthalak hc. but i dont even understand why we have to argue, i never mentioned to take agi axes, somebody asked for an advice, i gave him the advice, if i am wrong then i am sorry, i just tell people what i know. i didnt test it myself!

nope, not if you would have 2 UH runes on CD then or Blood Plague is about to run off
Nice video, I've been ranking fights with masterfrost(top 25 on heroic warlord, top 5 on some firelands fights, etc) with only 3 pieces of heroic. I love it.

depends on what role you play, but masterfrost should bring you the most dps (but its not that great if you kill your raid with killing blobs ^^)

schwer zu sagen, da gehen die meinungen weit auseinander, ich spiel es erst seit einer woche also kann ich noch nichts genaues sagen. baer rein theoretisch sollte der spec hier besser sein in DS weil sehr viele AOE Situationen bei den Bossen auftreten.

And who says you are right? WTF the agi weapons heroic of deathwing are the best for frost... the procs are insane, and best dps

When the agi weapons proc, it does tons of dmg as master frost (got the info from a guy who has 2x souldrinker hc, 2x agi hc and gurth hc. 2h frost is best frost pvp spec, over frost dw pvp.
this is masterfrost not regular dw... and next time flame with capslock... its even harder then

Good video, but imo, masterfrost priority and mastery reforging isn't good enough to be worth using. Someone on ej.com actually posted some sims which showed normal priority and haste reforging still ahead of its counterpart. Masterfrost also has a harder priority, so it doesn't make things actually easier.

@mbXtremeLive well, i guess it's just some 'extra' - dps you get. i mean you'd do like a good amount of dps without the tentacles, even if gurthalak doesn't have any stats on it, you still do good damage (depending on your gear ofc). that's the way i'd put it :D

you have to be hit and expertise caped then get haste as high as possible

well... to be honest, frost was higher ;) but i had damn luck with tentacles in that unholy video... a double tentacle proc + solo tentacle afterwards... that was like 8k dps increase ^^

because i needed maximum singletarget dps for spine heroic and i dont like masterfrost gameplay :x
unholy is a little more stable in dps, it doesn't depend on procc luck like frost does. as a good dk with equal itemlevel, you'd play both speccs for DS, unholy for the fights like morchok, ultraxion, warlord and maybe yorsahj, and the booster frost for deathwing and blackhorn :> that's my opinion and that's how i did it, when i was still playing :D

well... it depends on your playstyle ;) i always love frost... played frost :) sometimes i played unholy but i dont feel comfortable with pets at all ^^

ich spiel aus leidenschaft frost dw normal, masterfrost hab ich 2-3 ids gespielt aber ist net so meins, obwohls richtig nice bei paar bossen ist

wol doesn't lie you say? clearly u've never seen a bugged log being uploaded. Also one big flaw with your argument, 'read parses of top ranking dk anywhere', in one sense ur right, in another all top ranking dw frost dks will have dual hand of morchok hcs or the better, dual souldrinker hcs and i'm pretty sure its even pretty close between normal sd's and HoM hc's, One things certain, sd's > hom on single target, hom > sd's on heavy aoe. this is due to the proc not working on howling blasts.
@mbXtremeLive Nope. I've only ever used HB during the Rime proc as a last resort or I don't have outbreak coming up. So Master frost has you using HB more often and that is the so called difference? Not much of a difference.

I may have seen you in a HoT you had a 359 jp dodge trinket and were gemming stamina spell pen and agi. as a ele sham but maybe it wasn't you

@NLXREAPER Sadly I don't play much of Frost when I do play my DK as I prefer to play UH when ever I don't tank on him. And I did notice a lack of Obliterate in his rotation despite still glyphing for it. (Guess there's nothing better.) Overall, still not a huge variance compared to the normal outside of less Obliterates and more Frost Strike spam.

frost 2h is the worst dk spec and same gameplay as the regular dw frost build
