yep, unholy's main damage is magic, not melee attacks like it is on frost. so just reforge all expertise away if you have some on items. when i played unholy i had about 12 expertise or so
thats right, since day 1! i always read every mail, every comment... i just love you guys supporting me, so i try to support you as much as i can :)
you could go regular frost dw and unholy since both focus on max haste - but well, your decission - both are viable
So... the rotation is basically: Spam Scourge Strike, hit Feastering whenever Scourge is down (like without runes), use death coil when it procs and always keep death and decay and diseases? with dark transformation...
gurthalak makes shadowdamage (tentacles) and mastery highers our shadowdamage, and the tentacles do extreme dmg
Depends on your Playstyle, both are good
on b / f use festering... watch video and if it merges your tactics... good job
keybindings doesnt matter since its just for your own comfort ^^ and i'm using mbXtremeUI 3.4.3

they do about 8-9 ticks, and my dmg addon converts those 3 tick parts together. but when i had double proc it was over 100k :P

Valacar you are a BEAST! I have been playing 4.3 just about 2 weeks after release and yet you are about the same ilev as me >_> You beast! Looking forward to more vids :D
more mastery: more shadow damage - and the proc of gurthalak does shadowdamage

i just use it when it gets ready in a normal fight, on others where you need burst i keep him untill then

frost 2h is by far the worst dps spec in a raid so i wont make a guide (but its same to play as dw)

@Tapout3399 You need to stack necrotic strike but u do it in pvp so healers cant heal as when u stack it 6x times it will absorb up to 80k heals. :)

maybe youre used to play frost and unexperienced in unholy gameplay?

Would you recommend pooling RP (not capping ofc) when dark transformation is about to come off your pet or just consistently death coiling to gradually get dark transformation back up? Also I am running ~2450 haste atm and i am still finding periods of down time, I am doing everything you are doing and still have a hard time filling every GCD. Any advice?

Warum hast du nicht 1 oder beide Punkte von Entweihung nach Wiederspenstige Infektion gepackt? Wenn nen Target dann ja ne Krankheit entnommen wird, krigste ja ne Rune wieder..
I've got a little question : Is it better, for unholy, to use ultraxion dps trinket ? Or the random boss loot trinket with the spinny thing?

@Arieswargods Why would you want assa now when sub is so much stronger single target. Only boss where it could be useful is Yor sahj (or whatever xD) for the aoe, other than that combat / sub is the way to go depending on the fight.

Could you please elaborate on why reforging to mastery over crit is better with gurthalak? If its the case it would definitely make it easier to roll frost for certain fights since my gear would be more fitting for it.
So I know this is very late, but to answer your question it’s bc the proc from gurth does shadow damage and it’s damage is increased by your mastery
can u tell me what i suld use in pvp as uh? T1 pvp weap(ilvl 397 i think) ore gurthalak from normel, ore mabye even the mace from warmaster on normel? atm i am traing to find a healer and then working my why to 1750.
i thought it was master>crit tho?
i would run full pvp gear when you are not that experienced ;)

Hey great video, recently I have gotten my dk to 85 and put him as unholy. So I asked the best gear and dps dk on the server for tips(50k+) and he said don't bother with expertise, is that true ???
