I absolutely enjoyed this video, I'm a 68 year or newbie with near zero knowledge of electronics and yet I followed this video all the way to the end which is a testament to your ability to teach . well done.
Bravo, a typical troubleshooting section when you know what you are doing. Problem is, a lot of techs just don't have the vast knowledge to know what they are doing and they shotgun their approach until they luck up on the defective part(s), if at all. I like troubleshooting circuits. It is like a mystery story as to who done it! Thumbs Up!

Excellent video. I enjoy your repair techniques. Do you do any repairs on Crt tvs? Specifically no high voltage from the horizontal drive section is what I would like to learn more about.
Vrey well done. You first checked the voltage across the two large filter capacitors. How would you proceed if the voltage is not symmetrical across theese? (Zero volts on one of them)
Hi, great work you have done! Do you have fixed some SMPS with the oscillator 1200P60? Could you please explain How does it compare with the family 3843? Are they interchangeable? Thanks a lot and have a nice day. Regards.
Brother i am sorry to ask question out of your topic but maybe u are the right person to ask....wht is the use of impedance sel. at the back of my Sony amplifier thnks a lot Bro for ur time .
Great video also have great tricks My question is about PWM controllers have some protect features (for example over voltage Protection etc) How understand pwm controller's in protect mode ? Because not working power supply and all other components looking normal. For example how can make "Troubleshooting board for IC" * We can try extarnal power supply voltage for PWM controller * We can apply suitable frequency and wave to need IC pin/pins for find problem Could you make a video for a famous PWM controller's "How understand PWM controller's protect mode"
Thank you very much Sir for your valuable information. Sir in this ckt Opto coupler is not used then how the feed back is working to control the output
it is secondary side pwm controller. it uses direct sense line to the PWM controller voltage mode error amplifier. it uses pulse transformer to drive the power driver stage, so pulse transformer provides isolation
This is honestly something you could google 1. MOSFET's are Transistors 2. Transistors have 2 main functions to be a switch to be an amplifier (they have forward gain) Look at the datasheet 3. Transistor pins are BASE, COLLECTOR, EMITTER 4. MOSFET's and JFET's Pins are SOURCE, GATE , DRAIN Here is how to test them ruclips.net/video/2IkAPU9X33k/видео.html
Can you make a video on making one smps dc power supply with every details and breakdown, and items used and where to purchase. A video no one ever made, a class no university ever taught. Thanks
welcome brother first of all i am thankful for your valuable comment second thing. that a power supply design is complete science and it needs a very long, deep and interconnected to each other calculations. so it is really near to impossible to cover this topic in one video. because each step, each component. each parameter needs scientific calculations, so it will much difficult to do it. i will recommend that if you study Pressman's (book name Switching Power Supply Design fourth edition) it is perfect
@@HaseebElectronics Thank you for the suggestion. I would also request that you can make a video on the solar charge controller. That could be a new and demanding topic in recent world electricity shortage cases.
Good night sir I have a few questions the diodes or they connected to emitter and collector and what what or the amperage ratio of the diodes because I want to ad Shockley diodes to my emitter and collector for spike reduction so I want to know if a 1 amp Shockley diodes can withstand the incoming high current of of 200amp to collect so but I can’t find a small diodes the can handle that much current so I want to know if the 1 amp is ok I don’t want to blow up my circuit to find out
Dear brother, thanks for your great explanation and informative videos. I have a 24V SMPS that gives fluctuating output between 4-7 volts and it uses TL494, I check VCC and it was 7.3V, feedback is 5V & Ref is 5V. Pin 8 & 11 are fluctuating and the freq is not stable. What else shall I do to fix it? Your help is highly appreciated.
it is called "PULSE TRANSFORMER" or "SIGNAL TRANSFORMER". it takes drive from the SMPS IC, because the smps ic is in secondary side. so this transformer provides isolation between primary and secondary, and the power mosfets are in primary side (which drive the main transformer) in simple words, it transfers the drive signal from PWM ic to the mosfets
Aslkm. Saya lagi belajar. Alat nya semacam seperti pawer suplay. Mungkin kinerja nya sama yg seperti yg di konten itu. Tp ini pawer suplay yg ada di industrial pabrik di masuk in listrik langsung sort listrik
First RUclipsr he explains very well how to repair, you are good teacher
Thank you very much 🥰
You are welcome

Hi sir namaskaar. This video is very informative.
Can we check the output of the ic TL 494 before replacing the transistors.
Thank you sir 🙏
yes we can
i will explain that we can check drive without transistors
Good video thank you !
Thank you very much

to be an amplifier (they have forward gain) Look at the datasheet

Hey is oky to test transistor in circuit?
Waren de npn transistors geheel defect of maten ze slecht?
Always check the base voltage, before replacing the transistor.
Please make of soldering removing tool which u are using
Or link to buy amazon or aliexpress
Where to buy this type desoldering iron as u own??
it is available online
its model number is WELLER WR3M rework station
made in germany

Sir, please make video on designing of 60-0-60 DC to DC convertor..
Merhaba, bir sorum olacaktı,st13007,TL 494,c1815 transistörleri değiştirdim.Kapasitorleri, dirençleri, diyot, zener diyotleri ölçtüm hepsi sağlam.Fakat büyük smps trafosu gürültü yapiyor.Cikistan 7Volt alıyorum.Arizanin nerden kaynaklı olduğunu yazabilir misiniz, teşekkür ederim.

Sir 3d13009 and small 13009 me defference kya hai? Can I use small where big use?
السلام عليكم
My friend thanks for your work
I want to explain how we can enabled Ac PCB inverter If they are separated
Power PCB and inverter pcb
Obrigado amigo muito bom seus vídeos tô aprendendo muito
Hello my input ac is 210 and diotes in front of transistors are 100v and 180v . where i need to check ?
Thanks for sharing
it is my pleasure
Just curious, what is the smaller transformer for?
it is called "PULSE TRANSFORMER" or "SIGNAL TRANSFORMER". it takes drive from the SMPS IC, because the smps ic is in secondary side. so this transformer provides isolation between primary and secondary, and the power mosfets are in primary side (which drive the main transformer)
in simple words, it transfers the drive signal from PWM ic to the mosfets
