@naganut9718 It is the single best selling game though? If you split the sales in half for the game pairs, Legends sold more than most if not all copies of any one singular pokemon game. I don't know where people are getting the idea that it sold poorly.
Since the second DLC is out they post tweets about the old legendaries you can now find in SV. Reshiram and Zekrom are part of this.
None of them got special spotlights like this tho

@penguinman9277 Because for the past remakes of other Pokémon games, they've revamped the regions and characters to a refreshing degree, FireRed/LeafGreen, HeartGold/SoulSilver, OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire, all were pretty good remakes and had some fresh content to them that breathed some new life into their respective regions.
ILCA's version of Sinnoh, however, was too faithful to the original, and did nothing to add onto the region. The chibi artstyle was also a big disappointment because people were expecting a Sinnoh remake with graphics similar to Sword/Shield. Worse yet, it was a remake of only Diamond/Pearl, without any improvements to the story or mechanics that Platinum added. For example, due to D/P's original dex, Elite Four Flint has very few Fire type Pokémon to work with, being only Infernape and Rapidash. Platinum remedied that back then with an expanded Pokédex, but ILCA didn't include those changes.

Personally, I don't see us getting any Unova remakes in any form until after Gen 10 due to the two year gap we've had previously between remakes. Ironically this trend started due to Black and White remakes, so maybe this trend will end with them.
Also I hope they spend time making a game that we actually want to play rather than outsourcing and heavily constraining said remake. It's more than likely that they've already started working on Black and White remakes, just consider that they may have to backpedal so they don't end up with another BDSP.

Legends needed more violence. I thought it was a really neat concept though, u had fun, but I couldn't bring myself to replay with a rom hack, was just too grindey too enjoy twice....

@@AHGavInDaUSA Nah. Objectively. My favourite gen is gen 3 but gen 5 really knocked it out of the park with a great blend of music, dex options, character design, story elements, game mechanics introducing 2 new ways to battle, and sprite art that had godly parallax.
It is the best generation overall.

I mean it was the worst selling pokemon game on one of the highest selling consoles of all time. If you are selling less copies than Let's Go and BDSP....that means a lot of people didnt like the concept.

Legends sold extremely well for being a standalone game. Do you know how many of those sales for the games that sold more than it are just because people are buying BOTH versions? If you cut all of those sales in half (thirds for red/blue/green) then PLA has sold the most copies out of any one singular pokemon game. People need to stop trying to say it sold poorly just because its among games with 2 or 3 different versions that inflate the sale numbers.
Saying PLA didn’t sell very well isn’t accurate at all. Having 2 titles and per release really skews how many people bought the games.
Well black and white remakes still could release sometime after Legends Z we never know, in the meantime I think that possibly they could do a little more with Scarlet and Violet nothing too big raid Den events, Shiny Koriadon and Miriadon I also feel like since tyranitartube and a few other people predicted that there would be a third mythical Pokémon in scarlet and violet besides Pecharunt and possibly stellar forms for Koriadon and Miriadon we may never know

The idea of a remake being needed implies any aspect especially functionality or graphics needs to be updated but that's simply not the case, a lot of the charm and personality of these games would be lost in a remake and I just straight up would not spend money on a remake after bdsp which is a shame because oras was my first game in tbe series

The remakes aren't happening until generation 10, they've followed a pattern of releasing a remake at whatever double the generation the game was made in aside from kanto. For example, the gen 2 remakes were in gen 4, the gen 3 remakes were in gen 6, the gen 4 remakes were in gen 8, so yeah. The gen 5 remakes aren't happening until gen 10

Well, coincidentally the only remakes people didn’t like (BDSP) were not made by Gamefreak. I still don’t know why they didn’t do it, but hopefully if they are the ones working in the next remake, it might be good just like HGSS and ORAS.
