One of the most underrated character talents in this series is Clint 1:48 in *AoU* He tossed Cap Shield at him with high skill, showing at the time how accurate he is at not only Arrows (which are notoriously difficult at times, hence their use in medieval days) but with literally anything. @@gogogoooooooooo i mean ye Hawkeye would be better at hitting things with it but cap can throw it much harder hits harder and possibly killsome one if he felt like it the fact the when he really throws it hard it goes in the concrete or in metal
This is something I’ve always pointed out as well, Clint never got enough credit. Fun fact, in the comics after civil war when Cap died, Clint was the first person approached to wield the shield as the next Captain America. He took the suit and shield for a spin one night, kicked a bunch of ass but ultimately decided it would be disrespectful.
You can see how much he progressed from the First Avenger to the later movies in terms of throwing and catching the shield. In Civil War, he cut off Spider-Man’s web and came back to his hand without even ricocheting off of anything.
@@marcuseverett1642 huh? The shield throwing in Whedon's films make more sense. You know that right? Like the original comment says, the shield comes back to him even without ricocheting off anything.
there were a couple good ones in civil war, like how he’s able to rebound it off the ground and wall to hit the soldier, not to mention how he breaks Spider-Man’s web and it still comes back to him.
Eyo Cap is way smarter than people give him credit for, dude's smart enough to almost immediately figure out the angle/trajectory he needs to throw the shield at
A neat little detail The shield serves as an extension to Cap's arm and throws it like a pro Love to see him teach Falcon on the ways to throw and catch his shield with finesse
There was definitely a lot of improvement in each film, specifically Winter Soldier. He went from only being able to throw it directly at targets and catching it while it aimlessly falls to rebounding it off multiple objects and targets and doing kicks with it.
fr it’s so satisfying hearing the vibranium react to different material like other metals and rocks, most satisfying is bucky catching the shield at 0:58 because of that titanium/vibranium contact
I like a lot how it changes throughout the movies. In The first Avenger he throws the shield and it goes up and he just catches it from the sky, but later on the throws look more precise as if every throw was perfectly calculated and the catch is direct and not just like catching a stray ball. In Age of Ultron they undid everything they built up until then with the Magnet thingy, basically confirming that cap doesn't use that but instead uses a weird magnet that brings the shield back, kinda stupid tho. Cap throwing his shield was easily one of the best things to watch in the MCU
Bucky is the literal meaning of unlocking a boss as a playable character 😂 He is badass and almost kills cap in winter soldier but in the future movies not much action includes him and he does not fell that strong
1:54, the sound of the shield whooshing through the air was good... But quicksilver's haymaker sound to his face was very satisfying. Sorry, not sorry 😐
Damn I feel bad for anyone who fights cap. Imagine having a large piece of indestructible metal being thrown at you by one of the strongest men on earth.
Y'know. If you watch it in slow motion, you can see the seams both with the cgi and the logistics of some of the throws. Some of em make sense, some of them don't regardless of it being fiction. Love it anyway
@Meta Man well, i meant more along the lines of consistency. Take the opening of Winter Soldier for example. When he spun and flings the shield it hit the target and then the wall. The shield has a diagonal trajectory that wasn't in line with where he was in order for him to catch it. Or the battle with Spiderman. He cut the web with the shield but we never see or hear what it hit to come back, not that there was anything for it to bounce off of.
I mean after they defeat Thanos, Bruce could still experimenting with the that dual bladespear. whatever material its made of, it could chop Cap's vibranium shield like it was butter
He had magnetic gauntlet to reattract the shield. He would grip his fist or something to disengage it when he throws it and regrip his fist to attract back his shield. 2:21 shows that clearly.
One small detail everyone can miss is that only Cap is physically strong enough to weild the shield. Throwing it and catching it requires immense strength most people couldn't be able to pull off.
Captain America Winter Soldier has the best shielf throwing so far, and for the Age of Ultron thor hitting cap's shield to kill the robots is the most satisfying so far.
In Age of Ultron, the shield didn't have any straps on it. So how did Natasha hold it and fight with it? Cap has magnets on his forearm and hand that are synced with the shield.
So you are telling me that the shield spins very fast and tracked really fast back at him but he somehow always catches it with his entire arms in the straps
In every aspect, Peter Parker is a super soldier but more, comic spider-sense is way too overpowered so imagine what would happen if Peter was given it. (Apart from him giving it away to the Government as he did with Edith and Beck)
