I added a double knit button band to my April cardigan,I just watched a RUclips tutorial and it turned out great, I love it, don’t think anyone would notice about the stitches travelling opposite ways personally.x❤
lovely knits!! I recently knit and finished my first double knit button band and I appreciate your labor of love. My future self will always make one because it is next level and I'm hoping and guessing it won't ripple and stretch out and look "grandma" (even though I am one) as it gets worn.
I attended Shetland Wool Week in 2019-there is a shit load of Shetland wool there! Besides the two biggest companies, Jamieson’s and Jamieson’s of Shetland, there were lots of other smaller producers and some that came from the smaller islands. You would have absolutely NO issues buying wool there. Sorry you got sick and about your grandfather. Glad you got to enjoy the concerts!
Happy first archive trip! I’ve just started going to the archives and you’re so right about the difficulty estimating how long things will take. So glad you had a good trip other than your first week, and I’m really excited to see how your broken rib cardigan turns out
You should visit Tasmania if you like Scotland (I live in Australia but herald from the UK) ....I am sure you will find plenty of yarn and it is quite beautiful. BTW thanks for a very engaging and amusing at times Podcast!
I've only watched a bit so far...need to work today. For your cardigan design....have you ever worked with Juniper Moon Patagonia? I love the sweater I knit with it. A bit rustic, and very affordable. I got mine at Little Red Mitten
😂😂😂 you made me laugh at the very end of your episod. If you are Boring, we all are! Love your work and energy. See you next week! ❤

Ohh the note stretching out thing is a good point.
I love the image of the surly saleswoman.... glad you had a nice trip to Skye after your travails.

Lots of people are knitting 'Look at my Holes' by James Watts.
Yes! This but open!
Not me thinking you keep saying Hoser 😂 #canadianthings
I am trying so hard to make them sound different lol. I think that's why so many Canadians say the name with a french accent.
