I loved this interview. This woman is a champion and her words have wisdom and weight. What makes her different from many of your other guests is that we can actually verify her track record. There are guests who appear on this podcast hyping books and selling their philosophies which often sound like a remix of past generations of motivational “ coaches”. Venus Williams is the real deal.I wish you would have more champions on from the sports world who share their ideas about creating the right mindset. Learning how to adapt the right mindset, learning to believe in yourself and learning the right perspective to deal with failure is the foundation of realizing any goal or desire. I’d love to hear from more champions to reinforce these pillars of achievement.
Why do you bring the Rich on. Bring someone on and change there life be the first. There's people that really need advice and help. I guess it's the trend. Be glad when someone do. I need to make it happen. I have the best following because I be having people on that's in my comments. Watch me. Not mad. Just seems nobody doing that

Venus Williams is truly inspirational not just as an athlete but also as a human being. “You have to train to be strong mentally.” I love this quote!
Having a dad's backing is #1 confidence, self esteem, self worth and dignity in oneself, for sure. Venus had her dad's 100% support. That's it. The world can fall apart around you, but a dad's mighty hand holding you will carry you through. All the single mom's who take their children away from their dad unjustifiably ought to be ashamed of themselves. Every child needs a dad.

Taking care of your mental well-being through practices like meditation, positive affirmations, and self-reflection can make a big difference. Venus William has always been a hero to me - she has dealt with the hardest things in life and has such class and dignity, power and strength.

I feel this for my 16 year old girl! I think they need reassurance. Sometimes even parents can be the worst critics of their own kids so just being sensitive and assure others to help build confidence.
So glad you do this for your girl. I m a grown up now still carrying with me the sadness of my parents rejecting m3 for following my vocation. I mean it s hard out there, even without the constant curses and judgement.
Sports can really teach you a lot on self-awareness as you learn how to handle both wins and losses. It’s a constant reminder that there’s always room for improvement in areas where you may lack in. You understand what you’re good at and what you’re not.

Self belief helps when you lack confidence in your skills. Then once your skills level up AMD you have self belief then you are unstoppable.

When you know from a young age growing up you are not the it girl, Americas sweetheart or whatever and you have parents who understand this... "You cannot teach what you learn from sports." So true. I'm an actor, but I played football in high school. Sports taught me that I can accomplish anything if I persevere. Acting has made me a better human being. The combination has made it possible to make a career in this extremely difficult profession.
