The code switching is so true, as a black woman and our southern accents. I started acting in college at UNC-Greensboro and no accent was the teaching of the day in the early 90’s and before. That’s why Tabitha Brown is so celebrated for me. Truth telling: some of us name our kids non-black sounding names so our kids would have a chance in life. Crazy, but true! Free to be me now, and until you grab hold of yourself, the struggle will be constant!
As a 39 year old woman from North Carolina, who is going after her dream, this is an absolute blessing. ♥️

We are not taught to learn backward or from "bad things." We are to taught to learn from what is good and goes right. Once I figured that out, my entire thinking process changed, and wisdom came. Great luck on your journey, sis!

When she said her biggest fear was dying without letting what was in her be seen literally made me tear up because I so relate I feel this urge and calling but I’m scared because I’m nervous I won’t be successful at being me and that’s crazy to think about !
Do it anyway. If the fear won't leave, you have to do it scared.

What Elizabeth Gilbert did for me in my late 20’s, Tabitha Brown is doing for me in my late 30’s. She’s the next lighthouse, guiding me back to truth!
YES.....My biggest moment was when she said she feared dying with this gift inside of her and it just knocked the wind out of me because that's where I'm at; at 39 years of age. Thank you Lewis and Miss Tabitha from sunny South Africa ❤❤❤❤

My mom named me Shannon, and I asked why she said she wanted me to be able to get a job. In many spaces, I get told I speak well, etc. As if this is a compliment. I still straighten my hair for job interviews. So much of what she is saying, I get it. I'm so glad I found this interview today.

In the process of moving. I envisioned a home with a lake out back. I ended up seeing one online.
I didn't think I'd be able to get it so i applied for another... didn't get it. Though i was qualified. I Applied for the lake house and got it immediately.
It's super close to my work...but not my daughters jobs (age23/25). I want to appease their needs but I feel something inside saying... this is the one. Ive paused the process, to look for something more centrally located for us, but everything is gone or beyond the date I need.
Then i see this! I think I have my answer.
The obedience says it works... for all of us, the sacrifice would be me denying the blessing based on what "I" see and what "I" think is right. I know it will be good for them and me. I trust 🙏🏾

Good Blessed Morning Everyone
When Tabitha talks about gifts I completely agree, when you step into authenticity you feel so much better. Energy doesn't lie.
I can relate I'm over 50 and having this yearning inside of you that just does not settle with working a traditional 9 to 5 anymore. In some instances our families and friends may not understand our dreams as well they think just having a traditional job or any job is a blessing but I never thought like that, how is working for someone else a blessing but I have come to understand some people will not see the path that is set specifically for you and that is ok. I decided to pursue my childhood passion and see where the chips fall, yes im nervous but I'll have more regret not at least trying to pursue my passion and hey it just may work out. Those in limbo of going after what you want just try, take a little step here and there and then just do what you can. The internal joy you will feel is priceless.

I’m in the late stage of giving up my old life & in the early stage of starting my new one. I’ve been so sad/depressed about my current state of being while also knowing it’s time to make some major changes. This video is on time & it scares me. I know very little about Tabitha but I sure am glad that I tuned in. My main takeaways: (1) slow down & pay attention to your inner voice (2) just be yourself ❤

I totally and absolutely can relate to her having visions. Premonitions!!!! I have them all of the time. It's a gift, yet sometimes it feels like a curse. There are some things I don't want to see or know. These visions are vivid! I have never told a few people that I know, about the visions of them that I've seen. Some I have and they ignored it and me. They frequently thought that I was crazy. Until, what I saw, they actually experienced it. Sometimes they would tell me that what I told them actually happened. Then others wouldn't tell me directly, I'd hear about it from others.
I appreciate you actually asking questions to get more depth and for elaboration. Unfortunately, so many podcast hosts don't even attempt to try, and they miss the opportunity for a real conversation. Tab is a joy ❤
