It’s helpful but man scraping off your wax it’s difficult if you want to get a good wax job
Very much wrong too!
Brushing twice! once with a coarse brush to structure and get any small wax particles the scraper missed, then hit it with a softer brush (nylon) to really get that structure locked in. You'll be flying.

Aren't you not supposed to push the scraper at that low angle? I remember hearing you can accidentally damage your base. Instead you're supposed to keep that same angle but pull it across the board to get the wax off
Probably if you have a metal scraper. I think he has a plastic one. But what do I knoe
I don’t even scrape. I only put a really thin layer and buff it to shine after. What’s the point in putting on so much wax you gotta scrape excess wax off. Just creating work lol.
@@KevAlberta I’m only speaking based on what I read, not what I absolutely know as fact - but the wax is supposed to be in the base and not necessarily on it. If there is too much wax (ie you don’t scrape it off) it can actually make the board slower

Looks like rubber. I’m sure the binding pushing against the block is what keeps them in place.

It helps repel the water allowing to glide on the snow faster.

Hey guys! I'm a beginner skateboarder and I've been looking at snowboarding for awhile, is it the same principles as skating? Bend your knees, lean forward, etc
No it feels way different, but the spped and balance do translate
its definitely different i used to skate and ditched it for snowboarding much more simple and a way different feel than skating its too complex to word out or describe, its been a year so hopefully youve gotten the chance to shred 🏂
Same principle as skateboarding with turns. Weight on front leg for pistes and back leg for powder

How often do you wax your board?
You wax it when you need to. It really depends on the rider, snow conditions, type of wax, how long you ride, etc.
But for a simple answer just wax it when it feels slow

Paint your walls
Wrong. Remove old wax with brass brush, then clean base with cleaner of choice i.e. alcohol), then let dry, then drip wax, then let wax cool, then scrape with wax scraper, then vinyl brush to remove excess wax, then sharpen edges, then horsehair brush.

How do you know if your scraping of extra wax or if your scraping of wax that you need on your board
Scrape till there is no more was and your good. Just don’t scrape your base away. It’s not that insane of a scrape job
