    I'm seeing this in 2022 and i have the 160 set of ohuhu markers and watching this makes me happy to see tat they have improved there markers as most of the flaws you pointed out have been fixed! such as they added numbers to the pens and 2 swatch sheets and printed ones

    I had the Ohuhu before I got the Tombow...The Ohuhu flayed very quickly and I gave them to my Grand Daughter, who is 12..Interestingly she wrote on my leg with the purple one when I was asleep...It took days to remove...😋

    There's a second way to reduce streaking and improve blending without using watercolor paper. Use a water brush or regular brush with water to go over the water based marker work. To blend, use the marker to put down the two colors to blend, leave some white space between, and blend them with the water brush.

    Quick question can you use the ohuhu waterbased markerset shown in this video with alcohol based markers together on the same illustration? Would you be able to layer them?
    Do they work on cardstock aswell, ie can you blend with the ohuhu watercolour brush markers on the cardstock?

    Thanks for this video, especially the comparison between OH and TB. One "niggle" - you very correctly stress the importance of paper types, but you so often just say "this one" versus "this one", which makes it almost impossible to know which of the two papers you're referring to. The main thing, though, is that I learned a lot here, and "Thanks"!

No epson anymore so i am looking for a new printer. 110lb. Went thru the epson no problem. What brand printer r u using Steve? I havent printed any of my digital images to color in the longest time.

    Water based markers do not bleed. Only alchole based markers do. Only alchole markers need to be stored on their side.

    • @ColoringBliss
      @ColoringBliss  Год назад +1

      It depends on the paper choice but you are right that most water based markers don’t bleed unless you do too many layers. For storage I would suggest checking with the manufacturer for the final word on which direction is right.

    I am a bit confused here. You compared the Tombow blending and the Ohuhu blending. The Ohuhu here are waterBASED, right? While the Tombows are water soluble, aren't they?

    • @hippieartist155
      @hippieartist155 4 года назад

      They are both water based inks which are both watersoluble.
      From tombows faq section “The Dual Brush Pen is a water-based marker with water-soluble ink that can be blended and diluted with water.”
