I've been thinking about getting this monitor for a while now and your review sealed the deal. The only thing I need that really bugs me is the shotty cstand mount but I guess I can always get my own and see if that fixes the issue

And you can also use a VESA-mount like the ones from Inovativ for a more sturdy solution. Costs a bit more but a safer solution in my opinion.

Thanks for the review. It is unfortunate that Osee is still using those membrane style buttons on this monitor, while the new 15" version appears to have click style buttons. Both of these monitors have the sloppy stand mount, which is inexcusable. That mount goes back to the much older 15" version I have (model LCM215-A), and Osee should have come up with a better option to stabilize the monitor. I also wish this monitor was able to split screen to show two inputs simultaneously.

Would this be suitable for also being used as a reference monitor for grading?

Have you had any scaling issues with this monitor? I've noticed when running a camera through the HDMI input that it crops the outer pixels in the frame around 5% or so. So the image appears more "zoomed in" that it actually is. Ever run into this?

WHY did they put the battery plate over the VESA mount??

Hi Tim! You can flip the battery plate horizontally, which gives you access to the VESA mount. It's a quick 2-minute change, allowing you to use the included battery plate and the VESA mount without any problems. Cheers!

is that a custom image you put on the monitor?

Hi! I'm not sure I get your question, but the CineD logo was sent to the monitor as a video input; it's not a screen saver.
      Cheers!
