If you get the farm cat a house for outside, don't put fabric in for warmth as it's likely to get damp and stay damp, use straw or hay instead as it will allow the moisture to go through and will allow for staying warm

When you live in New England, USA, watching you drive down a road at your home is of great interest. It is so different. Listening to your perspective on everyday life is unique. Plus you make great food. And then to top it all off, there's Gooey!

As a Texan, I'm glad to see that nachos are available internationally. Neat touch to put the salsa on before baking them (I'm used to salsa being a cool topping to put on hot nachos).
Also, I love these vlogs! They're super chill and enjoyable to watch

I find these vlogs really calming, and I love cats so them popping up is always a nice bonus! Although it’s 'just' your daily routine, for me the nature, architecture, the different foods you make + the tidbits of culture/customs are lovely to see. I never really planned on visiting even though I have been learning some Korean, but these videos are making me consider a trip there sometime in the future. Thank you for sharing!

Chard can be used any way you use spinach. The stems can be sauteed and used like celery.
Why not make an insulated cat box out of two plastic containers (one about 2" smaller all around than the other), foam insulated panels, a plastic flower pot (end cut off), duct tape, and fresh straw. Directions can be found online.

I love this kind of videos too! I think it portrays, what everyone who thinks about people living in other countries wonders: How do they live? What do they do? How do everyday stuff looks like?
In a Social Media world where everything is about hype, I think it’s quite nice to have just a normal representation of how people live. It almost has a vibe of voyerism (in the best way possible lol)
Keep up the great videos and greetings from Germany :)

Chard idea: I cook some thick cut bacon until crispy but not burnt, remove and cut it into bits with scissors. I cut the chard into ribbons, wash, dry and add to the bacon fat in pan cooking on mid-low. Salt to taste. Add in 3-4 crushed garlic cloves, add back the bacon, and cook everything together a bit. Chard should be wilted but not burnt. I eat with rice and kimchee. It’s one of my kids’ favorite meals.

    Hey Johnny,
I can share a beautiful recipe for chard from my granny in Germany, which I love!
You blanch your chard leaves in water for a few minutes and then take them out.
In a separate pan, you add a diced onion and the diced chard stalks in a little bit of oil or butter - you can choose a fat of your liking really.
You let them sweat until they become soft.
Then you blend the blanched leaves, onion and chard stalks together with some veggies bullion powder and cream.
It is amazing! One of my favorite sides of all time.
Let me know when you have tried it!

To answer your question about what to do with chard. You can cook a delicious Swiss recipe called 'Capuns' with (swiss)chard. It originates in the alpine region of southeast Switzerland called Graubünden, and you can cook it with or without meat; every family has its own recipe. The chard rolls are filled with egg/flour dough and other ingredients. You can cook the rolls in bouillon or first in a frying pan and then bake it in the oven with some cream and bouillon and, of course, a lot of chees. Looking forward to hearing if you like it :D

Love sautéed chard, specifically the stems have a great texture. My fave is with bacon, red onion and. a splash of cider vinegar at the end. Or you could ignore the vinegar and use the mixture to make a quiche. Swiss cheese in with the eggs is bonus. The pie crust you made recently would be great for the quiche. Definitely do more of this style of video. All of your videos are lovely.

You are extremely listenable and this fact echoes in the views- to your credit though, you deserve more watching and subscribing 👌🙌
I am just on half watching. There is a recipe I remember doing that needed chard,to cook in a creamy sauce- either chicken or pork.. some chard is used in a salad (salad leaves)
The peas- would be able to pull aswel off the peas- pea shoots ?? If so they would be delicious too
    😋😋

I love stir fying chard with garlic and chilli, but definitely cut the stems up and do those first (and the bit of stem that goes up the leaf), otherwise its tough and bitter, then add in the rest of the leaves later on!

I think I remember seeing PastaGrammar make an Italian chard dish a while ago. They usually post those recipes on their website so I’d just Google Pasta Grammar Swiss chard.
Looks like it’s an Italian version of Greek spanakopita aka spinach pie. So you could even make both to compare!
