This is why pep will only win the ucl and fa cup! Intense fixtures in the ucl then arsenal will only strengthen Liverpool,s hand as they are out of the Europa league? They played 1 game every 5 and a half days across their treble winning season. If that's too much for a professional athlete then there is something seriously wrong with how they are being trained or conditioned. 2 games a week should absolutely not be too taxing on the body for professional athletes, and it's embarrassing that anyone would think otherwise.

Here's the crazy part, they increase fixtures every year, meaning you need a bigger squad to be able to cope, yet you have to spend less money than before with all these restrictions they put in place, how does that make sense? No wonder there's been more injuries this season than ever before because these players are tired and get no rest at all. The January window was dead as well with everyone being scared to spend even a penny. The FA have a serious introspection to do

These clubs have many players. Yes I understand that they play a lot of games but try rotating your players. I've seen coaches bring players on for 10 mins when they are up by 3 goals just to give them game time. Then they talk about player welfare. It's also all about money. Without playing all these games then players and coaches and clubs won't get such high wages. These players want to play every minute if they could. We've seen players sulk off at 60 mins, and players who want to play on despite a head injury.

For example, foden and oscar bobb who can play almost all attacking positions and the centre backs that hes been using as full backs. But when it comes to the number of players and injuries they face they are as affected as the rest of top teams. Instead of 38 or 22 games in Premier League / WSL they should play just 19 and 12 games. FA Cup scrap replays and extra time. League Cup scrap extra time and just go straight to a penalty shootout out. European football (Champions League / Europa League / Europa Conference League) just play 4 group games instead of 8. Knockout out rounds, scrap the two legged ties and go to a straight knockout format. World Club Cup for both genders should be current format. Both Community Shields remain the same.

Remind us again what open chequebook he had at Barca? Didn't he offload Dinho, Deco, Yaya, Marquez & Eto'o for the youngsters like Busquets, Messi, Iniesta, Bojan & Tello?

Give me one name of a big manager who'll go to a championship club? You really need to take your medication, dude.

@peterkirk123 you're just all over the place without making any sense. First, Klopp started at Mainz because he was not known & nobody wanted him. First, it was Bristol that you wanted Pep to go to. & now you've jumped into the bundesliga with Mainz. Pep started at Barca B & promoted the very youngsters that he made history with to the 1st team. Once a coach becomes a household name, they don't downgrade unless if you've passed your sell by date like Mourinho. Football has moved on from the 80s, 90s, & the modern game needs club to spend money in order to bring decent players & win titles. Stop pretending to be a genuine football fan when infact you're just an attention seeking 🤡

Poor you, what's your next excuse? You're trying to make Klopp as if he were this superhero manager who does not have money to spend when infact he spent £75M on van Dijk

Why not just use some that unlimited fund to buy another squad? What's will another 115 chargers do to Man Sheikhy.

OK get a few of the moaning players who say they are tired, to go and work as an Amazon deliverer and see how long it takes for them to beg to to play football matches every day, in 1999 how many games did Gary Neville play and he played that many games in most of their seasons because they, like City were playing to win everything every year, and anyone who thinks they played at a less intense rate is a moron, united were always being pushed and teams always saw games against them as their FA Cup final.
