Definitely good to see a sports car being enjoyed on a racetrack, it’s not my intention to embarrass him (hence I blurred the number plate) and if he can afford to write off a DB11 then good for him!
Love how you closed right up from 0:18 onward after he blew by you on the straight. All of human competition is some combination brain and brawn, I just love that car racing leans towards the brain part, while being a whole lot more spectacular than chess.
It was surreal, the car must have been doing about 50-60mph when it went into the tyre wall... you can actually see it lift off the ground from the impact. At least the occupants were ok, aside from a bruised ego I suspect...
@@JTV84 there’s no easy way to position the microphone for induction noise, as I’m running the stock airbox. Plus most people seem like the exhaust pops, which I think pairs well with the footage 😊
As long as he's not driving like a doughnut on the road, it's fine to have fun with these toys where everyone agrees to the game. Better to write-off a car on a track than to prang or even harangue the innocent bloke popping up Woolworths. Goodwood is now a no-go, though.
Definitely... I hope the driver had track insurance, but then he’d have to pay for the damaged tyre wall as well 🤑 On a positive note, at least there were no physical injuries (or so I was told).
Always felt like it's pretty poor form to use someone else's misery for a few cheap view on your channel. Dunno why people are so keen to watch others crash their pride and joy.
Cheap views 😂 You ok hun? It’s not on every track day that you see a big crash, hence the reason for posting… this sort of footage also helps people to learn from other’s mistakes which in this case was braking way too late / not driving with a suitable margin of safety on a non-competitive event.
@@3782MC As I said... Using someone else's misfortune to get views. Bit sh**ty imo. But hey, you do you. Your two crash videos are your most watched by a mile, so people obviously want to see it.
Bit harsh to say the guy has no talent judging on getting one corner wrong. Racing drivers (from club Karters all the way up to F1 drivers) all make braking errors during their careers but that isn’t what defines their talent.
Fair play to the guy for going out and enjoying his car, even professional racing drivers crash so he doesn't really have to be embarrassed about.
bet that has put him off

@@3782MC I pray that it was just body damage and he got it fixed. so sad for someone to lose a car they have worked so hard for
100%, This track looks so unforgiving with short run offs and slippery grass, fair play to him.
It's not a race, it's a track day. That is a pretty big cock-up given the setting.

Dude was using the car well until the last second really unfortunate but holy shit he was fast
He didn't crash, he just de-roaded.

Your 86 sounds so good BTW
Thanks! I usually fix the microphone on my rear bumper close to the exhaust, so the car sounds more “raw” than it actually is 😂
@@3782MC try to get the induction sound instead

very unlucky for him/her hope they where ok
The driver was ok, walked away with no injuries if I recall.
I’ve done that track day and came last out of our whole group as the very slowest ha ha! Nice cars though! 😁🏁

That’s why 86 is more fun, you can juice the power up without worry about running out or lose control.
Definitely agree, you spend more time “flat out” in the 86 and there isn’t much difference in cornering speed at all 👍🏼
🏎️ Did y’all get yours from GR Toyota Gazoo Racing in Mooresville, NC?!?
Your car sounds like the bees knees
No reaction from the 86 driver. Ice in the veins 😂
If you never crash you're not trying hard enough.
I always balls up that corner on GTSport so I feel for them!
Yeah because it’s exactly the same!
It’s a difficult corner to get right, this track guide may be helpful though 👍🏼: ruclips.net/video/EZvZQsBwbDs/видео.html
I managed my warm-up lap ok, (just a pity it was during my last lap) 😂🤣
That was probably some good wood on the fence
Haha I see what you did there 😂
Hahahaha, i felt happy for the lane hogger
nevertheless, good driving bro
*thumbs up
You can't park there mate.
how did that driver get it soo wrong
I suspect he went in too fast and / or braked too late, once the tyres hit the grass he was just a passenger…
oeps

Ran out of talent 🤣
Who tracks a db11 anyways 😂
Best Nobby sells up & gets a Fiesta 1.1L or GL
Nice car but no talent to control it.
Ambition > talent! (Lots of drivers are guilty of that though)
@@3782MC Absolutely 👍🏼
I would say DB11 man got red Light fever and wasn’t focussed on his line / speed. Should polish out…
