Very glad I clicked on this actually bought a tear to my eyes for Mike to admit how selfish he was and Immature. It takes a real man to admit to such things 1985 Bears best defense I ever saw at least for that one year. I will give to the Steelers for best defense for the longest period of time in the 1970's and to the Ravens that year with Dilfer as QB when they didn't score a TD for a month. That defense was punishing offenses didn't even want to go out there.
Crazy thing is Mike and Buddy arguing like teenagers while Joe Gibbs, Bill Parcells, and Bill Walsh were out there winning Super Bowls. It reminds me of the Redskins. Joe Gibbs would run the offense while he delegated responsibility to Richie Pettibone on defense. Both respected each other and it never got to soap opera type of stuff and that's a big reason why they went to 4 Super Bowls and 3 of them in the 80's.
@@Lawomenshoops game was never close go back and watch it for the first time. Joe said "they barely lost" go back and watch the game and see if they "barely lost" YOU CLOWN BOI
Bears had 4 turnovers that game. In spite of that, they won TOP, total yds and first downs as well. Dolphins won the first half and hung on in the second half.
38-24 and the Bears had gotten a bit of momentum. Ditka went for a 4th-and-25 with about 7 and a half minutes left from around midfield instead of punting the ball and letting his defense have a chance to make a play to turn the game. It was a Brandon-Staley-esque decision on his part and doomed any chance the Bears had to come back. Marino didn't have near the success from mid-3rd quarter on in that game that he had in the first half.
Appreciate that Mike mentioned Hampton first. Hampton was the unstoppable monster that the defence was constructed around.
Yep

85. Ayres is at the 86 Bears I called the 86 Bears buddy Ryan.
Buddy and Dicka hated each other
Buddy and Dicka, hate each other
Miami actually blew Chicago out on Monday night. The game was NEVER in doubt. Joe Bucks knowledge of football and its history is painful to listen to.
38-24 was the final score. You decide if 14 points is a blowout.
