Ahhhhh the 1930s, when everything was done in black & white and when it came to movies like this it would be all stop motion and the same scene going over & over, how nice it must've been.
it's sad when kong dies he did not mean to hurt anyone all he wanted was ann cause of her beauty he loved her beauty thats all he wanted twas beauty that killed the beast twas the beast that wanted the beast they wanted to be together but it wasn't meant cause the beast loved love her so much that he died for her and their love would stay strong i thank you all would agree with me when i say this stay strong for your love
A fact that a lot of people don’t know is that this movie’s musical score was very groundbreaking. It was one of the very first movies to have a thematic score instead of background music. The first movie to use a 46-piece orchestra and the first to be recorded on three separate tracks. One being the sound effects, another being the dialogue, and the last being the music :)
The first Kong movie was the best. It also made the most sense. It was best because it was a great metaphor about a guy chasing something he could never achieve, the girl of his dreams who didn't love him.
The colorizing of black and white movies have gotten a lot better, but most of the colors still look cheap and not natural. Some movies just look better in black and white. This is one of them. Plus this music doesn't give it the same meaning as the original score. Get the Bluray version. You won't regret it.
@RnDnproductions Hi!! this video has the music of the new King Kong film, composed by James Newton Howard for Peter Jacskson. The original one is composed by Max Steiner and you con hear it writting: Secuencia Original King Kong 1933. : D

This hapless colorized versions lacks it all and its reason for being.. Max Steiner's ultimate score , its here that Steiner shows what a score can do for a spectrum of emotions CP
It certainly improves the quality of the film, but I think you could have been more daring with the use of colour? Using the sort of colour like they used in Robin Hood!

Just proves how much better the sound is on the original 1933 version. The planes and machine guns are much more distinctly heard, not muffled by incessant "action music" as in the remake. Steiner wisely avoiding scoring this sequence which heightens suspense. He did the same thing with the T-rex fight. The man was a genius.
The thing I hate of the original compared to the 2005 version is that Ann does not give a shit about Kong. There is no real connection between beauty and beast which makes the movie black and white and un emotional. It is a classic which I love but I prefer the 2005 version that was THE King Kong.
The only reason why there is a king kong why you love king kong and why there was a ride in universal on king kong and why theres merchandise on king kong IS BECAUSE OF THE ORIGINAL!!!!! you wouldnt have a king kong if it werent for the original
The point of King Kong is that Kong wanted Ann to like him back, but she never did, ultimately making the story more tragic for Kong. Plus that is what the final line "It was beauty killed the beast" refers to
@@elpepe4445 King Kong was a bad guy in 1933 and people were glad he was dead. King Kong in the 1933 version he stomped on a man who done nothing wrong.

Its because she's hot. If Kong had taken away Phyllis Diller, the crew would have just said, 'oh well, she knew it was a dangerous job. Lets play it safe and wait until the next sacrifice, we'll get a few film shots and head back to NY'
Ok But dont you think its implicit we know that Kong was attracted to Ann Darrow Dont forget its 1932 when it was made and any reciprocation from Ann and the film would have been under siege from the censors of 1933 The phallic presentation of the Empire State Building says a lot for 1933 audiences. I dont like this colorized version of the 1933 film either its phony and makes the whole set look ridiculous...Carl Denham saying " Beauty Killed the Beast " Once Kong Saw beauty he was smitten he was drawn...Max Steners score is superior to this one also but Willis O ' Brien';s stop action has been doctored in this film
Fay Wray was so beautiful. The first scream queen of motion pictures.
The 1933 original is one of my all time favorite movies.

this has been badly edited.
Me too
In terrible old
King Kong’s facial expressions (especially his smile) in the 1933 version always crack me up!

This is awesome. The colorization is nice just for this one video, and the 2005 composition works fantastically.
BRUUUHHHH this is the final part at movie at 33 see in HBOMAX o gonna see :)
It seems to me that it`s just like a miracle such awesome SFX was possible in 1933 when even my mother was not born yet.
This isn’t the actual sound
@matiassolartepena4672 it from the 2005 Peter Jackson not the 1933 one

The Jurassic park of his time, a Master piece

The 1933 version and the 2005 version were great!
1976 was the best.
+SueSnellLives! No way! That version didn't have any Dinosaurs! Only a giant snake which was stupid to not have any Dinosaurs.
yes i agree ,, i was grow up with the king kong ( 1976) and is the best
+paul “hermaphrodite” ibarra The 1976 version wasn't that good. There were no Dinosaurs! 😱

You did an amazing job on colorizing the black and white
Thanks for such a beautiful video I have watched it over 100 times snd continue to watch it I think it is so amazing and thank you for making it.

I seem to like this scene a lot better with the original music, but you did a good job with the editting.
Wow, great improvement on a classic!
i like thisi love 33 version, and the combination with new film works!
A great fusion of then and now. Saw this 10 years ago, just relocated it. Thanks for your great video.
Saludos
It's like King Kong 2005 and king Kong 1935 are similar then there's Kong skull island and king Kong 1976

Excelente trabajo. Partitura fenomenal.
I would aprecciate if you consider this video in a positive or a negative way in order to perceive what's wrong, right...Thanks!
Omg
that was not even an eveloition thst was just editing color to the original movie half of it

Poor Kong the good guy's always get him.
I always liked King Kong. It was and still is, a great metaphor for frustrated male-hood, (i.e. wanting the girl who doesn't want you in return).

Funny thing I was born exactly a month before peter Jackson’s King Kong was released into theaters.
My favourite kong and godzilla 2021
I’ve been searching for this video for a while now
4:20 Notice The Force of the plane pulling down Kong from the roof from the Empire State Building for the breif moment
Keep up the good work.
This might seem a bit strange but the first time I saw King Kong on TV I couldn't help but wonder why so many men had to die just to save one woman!
Said it ahahhaaha
Should do the same work on fights these T-Rex with that intense theme song
aw,kong was crying.give him some space plz😭😞
King King dead blood color RED 1 = like to goodbye to King Kong :(
I only saw the 1976 version as a kid didn't even know the 2005 one was created and I was a kid at that time hah.
Michael Jackson same for me😂😂
The Nation same for me as well
Well believe saw 1933 previw interview then 2005 one, probably saw the kong kong 1974 but not sl sure 2005 even in this video.
Mais alguem ficou com pena do kong?!?!?!😔😔😔😔

How did you get the movie in color?
Not bad for a movie that is almost 90 years old
this death of kong was not sad for me, on the other hand, the one of 2005 was very sad his death to the point of tears a little
Where is Max Steiner's musical score???
was that music in the original movie?
You put the 1976 king kong roar on this video lol.😎

Could you use the original black and white 1933 scene?
