Go several miles from your hunting area find a signpost scrape that's hot and being visted often. Take rubber gloves and a scent free container. Scrap up the first two or three inches of dirt out of the scrape. Place some of the dirt in a large hot scrape at your place. Get in your stand and rattle aggressively. The dominant buck in your area won't be able to tolerate this. Get ready to lace a arrow behind his front leg. ♋👍

The duckweed can be dragged out with a rake head back to back with another tied to rope and flung in the pond. Drag it out and you will get the roots also. The winter will do the rest but you need to do the dragging out now before the snow ❄️. Good luck and great to see your vids again 😘

Hi Heidi, here in the United Kingdom if you have pond weed we would normally put a bail of barley straw into the water. You will find the barley kills the pond weed and clears the water so the fish get oxygen. It's worth a try it works here, not sure if you can get barley bails in the USA.
Great videos though I always look forward to them keep up the good work. 😁👍

I lived in western mountains of Colorado for many years. I've always said "No one can go into an Aspen forest in full fall splendor without feeling good ". Just impossible not to feel better. Love your area. It is beautiful too.
We'll forgive forgetting a knife since you did bring your sidearm. We know you do understand the chance you take going into deep forest without a knife. 😊😊

1 reasonable investment is to get a solar powered airater to put oxagen back. i watched a vid where they did. took a little time but the water cleared up.

  • @davidsimons3525

One duckweed removal method is to use a pond rake or debris skimmer to take it off the pond's surface. Duckweed typically prefers stagnant and slow-moving water. By installing a pond aerator, you can eliminate duckweed completely or limit the growth to the edges, which are easily reachable with a hand skimmer

Wood ducks eat the duck weed. You can eat the duck weed it’s high in protein and tastes like spinach. You can put a solar pond pump to add oxygen and water movement to reduce the weed.

22:01 that tree top laying on the ground would be an excellent spot to make a ground blind as nature has already made most of it for you.
Plus it was overlooking a saddle and finger's coming up both sides. Which probably explains why you seen those fresh scrapes, that basically like a four way intersection in the woods. So no matter what wind you have you'll likely see deer sitting there.

Wow, first time viewing your channel, congratulations this is one of the best walkthrough videos I've ever seen. It's a beautiful place for sure.
I'm near Omaha Nebraska, we have a huge valleys in the city with spots that has eagle, hawks, kite and peregrine falcon birds of prey overlooks from many miles away, imagine this with Red, Orange, Pine and Yellow tree leaves with fox dens, deer and turkey blinds in a valley bowl shaped area
I'd go with him for sure, as I don't hunt alone. I'd use a 410 or ten gauge might be a quicker option. We have a lot of 3030 and 308 deer hunting near here.

we have the same problem here in the lakes, happen when the water doesn't run at good speed, some artificial ponds and some natural aswell can get the flux so reduced that that thing grows, try to see what's the cause for this clogging, if it can't be fixed(artificial dams, un-reacheable ones) then the only solution is manual scrapping, I've done it is awefully tiring and smelly but is a good way to eliminate the green thing that suffocates the lakes and ponds.
edit.: I apologise for my manners, Hi! is wonderful to see you, nice that you are ok, and take care!
