    The smiles on Tommy’s face says it all. The mustang is the most squirrelly, entertaining, best sounding, and light up the rear tires at any time. Even with only 250ish hp. Mustang scores as the best sports car of this bunch. And it’s the most Joe Sixpack, rambunctious and irresponsible teenager fun car of the bunch. Perfect.

    this needs an update and do it again in 6 months next spring with everyone spending about 2500$ for whatever he wants to improve to get a better result , repair, new supesnsion, new tires and whatever it might take to improve the performance but of cause staying in the budget.

    • @shitloveaduck
      @shitloveaduck 2 года назад

      True. Tommy has grown leaps and bounds as a driver. He tends to talk with his hands like most of these guys so doesn’t have ANY hands on the steering wheel while hurtling down the road, all too often, but I really only fault him there. Being a retired LEO that did a lot of traffic, that’s a pretty big compliment Tommy.
      This was just for fun of course. The tires were all different ages, the condition of each vehicle was varied, and of course 4 different drivers are going to always come in with different times. That all ok though because this was FUN!
      Can you imagine if they were able to purchase a Vette?? That would have been an even larger gap in times. I think it was optimistic, mind you as far as being under $10,000. Here in Canada the equivalent price would be $13500 (ish) and it was not possible to find a decent example either. The Mustang her was actually really well cared for,,, until “Talladega Tommy” comes out to play,,,,, 😂😂.
      I liked the series fellas! Quite disappointed with the Mercedes mind you. Throw the hard top and sell it as that rare model that didn’t have a convertible,,,,, 😂😂. Let the next guy find out the story works well so you can pretend you didn’t know the top was leaking oil everywhere,,,,,😮😮. I’m not sure if that really was the case or not, but that previous owner really wasn’t too surprised when they discovered the convertible. He even helped them know how to remove the hardtop,,,,,, haha.
      After these results it will be interesting to see what the prices will be. People on here tend to overreact to flaws and features. I would pay the most for the Mustang, but mostly due to condition, then the Jag, same reason. They fixed the damage to the Jaguar when it drove on the boulder, so it just needs some cosmetic repairs. Then I wouldn’t even consider the last two, regardless. Even the Jaguar is a stretch,,,,😅😅.
      Thanks Team TFL!

    Nathan constantly made comments that a 2002 and the 97/98 of his model were the same. Might not be 100% true. Power output might have increased between that year span similar to Mustangs when they swapped to the 99-04 sheet metal also referred to as a SN95. They claimed that the 97 Mustang GT in the series had 215 meanwhile my Dad's 4.6L 98 has 225 and my cousin's '02 with a 4.6L had 240

      The mustang made about the same power as the z28... iirc the z28 made 275? Hp and the cobra made around the same. Not sure why his gt makes 215, only the 94 made such a pathetic number bc of the ancient engine they carried over.
