They should work with Skat-Trak instead for making special impellers for their Stage kits. Skat atleast is an American company and is truly high quality, proven, and reliable, and I have yet to see one snap. Solas is Chinese, and as you know with China, they like to be cheap and make very cheap low quality metals and what not. If Solas was a Japanese company though, they would be really good quality just like Skat-Trak and wouldn’t have these issues with the bad casting of the blades.
@@Duderocks5539 american products are just as garbage if not worse in many cases, that proves nothing. And at double price if you are lucky. At least in China when they design, you dont end up with retarded designs, unlike with american products, where they just make super stupid designs.
I bought the 13/20 Solas from you guys a few months ago but I'm waiting till there's cooler weather to install it so I won't miss any time out on the water while it's warm enough to ride. I am looking forward to installing all the performance products that I have purchase from you in recent months and if they turn out to be as good as the Riva Ride Plate and Sponsons I'm sure I'll be happy with the outcome of the Solas impeller install.
Does it take days to install such an item or is this something you could do in lets say, under 2 hours if you were needing double the amount of time necessary! 🙄🤫🤔
@@R1Kyle If everything goes well you should be able to swap it out in under 30 minutes. But as always Murphy’s law dictates that if anything can go wrong it will go wrong 🤣
Hey I have 2 Kawasaki stx 15f Jetskis and I am a new ski owner so I’m new to the ski world, but I have an issue I would like to see if you can help me figure out, Okay on a recent river trip I had the impeller shaft bearing fail, I replaced the bearings, shaft, cone, impeller and used the original jet pump housing. I used kawiperformance upgrade shaft kit and got a solas impeller with stock pitch. Everything went together nicely, and I have rode the ski several times and have noticed a slight vibration? Is the best I can describe the sound, but it only happens when I am at a consistent speed around 34 mph but if I let off the gas or speed up or turn it will stop until I stay at a constant speed. I have since replaced the jet pump housing to see if maybe that was the issue. And it still makes the vibration. It is very slight, and I wouldn’t notice I guess if I didn’t have another of the exact same ski to compare it to, and I also replaced the shaft and bearings in the other ski with the same upgrade kit. The only thing different is the impeller. So I’m wondering if the impeller is the issue and is that something I should worry about ? Thanks in advance for your input or anyone who reads this.
Whats the difference between SOLAS YAMAHA YV-TP-12/18 TWIN IMPELLER and SOLAS YAMAHA 160MM CONCORD 13/18 IMPELLER? Is there a huge difference in top speed and acceleration? Do you need to tune it inorder to install the 12/18 twin impeller?
I’m in the market for a new impeller for my FZS. It’s all stock and I’m wondering if 13/18 would be an improvement or leave it alone. I’m having the stock impeller repaired but wouldn’t mind an upgrade.
The efect in the velocity and power the is propeller from jet ski is diferent in use on the jetsurf or is similar whit desing for use from performance, i made propeller from jetboard the carbon fiber whit model similar= the propeller jet ski?!? What opinion from format my propeller??? Thanks from Brazil!
Ok i have a solas 14/17 on my spec b1 blaster with a 760 engine 144 pump. Was thinking about going with 10/16 impros hooker impeller. Would my impeller be better then that one with being 1 degree bigger on top end vs lower bottom end? Im looking for a better hole shot but dont want to loose topend.
It's hard to say for sure since we no longer perform performance testing for original WaveBlasters. However, the same rule applies no matter the year, make or model. In order to gain you sometimes have to lose. And vice versa. It is possible to gain bottom-end like you're looking for without losing top end. But, you will likely have to work on customizing the pitch for your setup. There's no way to guarantee dropping in what is perceived as a "better prop" will be the end all fix. Pump tuning takes time due to their being so many variables.
Id like to see you address multiple reports and videos about your Solis props failing and causing damage to jet pumps and hulls.

Are these the one that have the feature that explode and ruin your pump?
....are these still breaking blades & tearing up pumps & hulls???

How does it ride
Whay you dont make a video with oem prop and solas prop to demostrate the real diferences on the stock jet ski, and then with ecu tune....?
Where is the test run video?

@@rivaracing8468 ok well thank you for the info!😏
Looks kinda like a Jay Harman impeller
great video... i wish the music wasnt there...
Looks like increased cavitation and a far shorter lifespan
Bas idea is plastic wear ring. It saves damadge to impeller and cheap to replace. All rest is money pit.
absolutely hideous music choice 🤦♂, makes the whole video so unprofessional and almost impossible to listen to a message on a video.
