Preach !!! Omg it applies at work and in a relationship. I understand the job concept cause I’m still leaning to lead. I have leadership qualities but actually being in the role at work sometimes it complicated. But I’m a relationship, my current relationship is my first relationship where I had a man take leadership. We pray together we serve together and we have accountability. First relationship where as a woman I didn’t feel like I had to make all the decisions and or take that role and I love that. I trusted his judgement for us from the start. Idk why but it was easy and I submit to him. I never had a problem with submission but with submission you have to have trust and if I can’t trust you then I’m not submitting. Love the video ! you guys relationship are blessed and I’m excited to where God leads you!

Dre is on point! I remember what my relationship was like prior to its destruction. I can say that I did my best to lead as God lead me, and though past pains destroyed us, I see where I was both right & wrong. This love like no other that I have, will be bestowed to a woman again (permanently) one day. Until then, I'll just pray the overwhelming loneliness off, and wait until God speaks.

It is so refreshing to hear a man play the role as a head of the household the way the Lord intended.
I finalized my divorce earlier this year. I married unsaved and I have been saved now for 3 years. I am a new person in Christ and completely different from the way I was before. I recognize a lot of Bri struggles in change relating to submission and money and I have to say that Bri, you are so blessed to have Dre because I have overcome the jezabel spirit of control and the feminist spirit in order to be ready to submit to my future husband( Lord willing). It is a lot harder to do it on your own. You two are a perfect balance.
Please know that the husband is the head authority of the home, he is to protect you, provide for you, make you and your future children the priority and to love you like the Lord does. I give you so much appreciation Dre for being that example for in your household and for other men who watch this video. I pray that Bri will fully submit and let go of her grave clothes completely and realize that if she lets you lead, you both will have a stronger foundation. Bri, at the end of the book of proverbs chapter 31, you will see that a woman is blessed for playing this role. Your role in your family lives will still allow you to have strength, honor and praise

Bri- Dre is the head, but you are like the neck that holds him up. You need to help him lead and you need to encourage him. You are so blessed. I remember my ex would never want to wake me up when I was struggling. He would tell me that is your responsibility, figure it out. When I would try to lose weight no one supported me at home, instead they brought and ate what I should not.
When I heard that Dre supported you in your diet and helped you wake up and encouraged you without criticizing or being judge mental, I had hope and praise God that their can be men out their like this and not a fantasy. Lol.
Bri, I think you are extremely blessed to have him help you with money as if you did it on my own, it would be a lot harder and you most likely would not be in a responsible financial situation. Dre was God send to you. I also believe that you were God sent to him, because you provide a spirit of love, joy and other fruit of the spirit that he needs and great help on the business. Your hard work reminds me of a woman in proverbs 31 because you have an entrepreneurship mind.
I wish most woman and men would realize that these roles are also as obedience to the Lord, if you trust your husband as the head of the Lord, assuming he is playing that role as well, You are walking in obedience to God as well and that is what a God fearing woman does, fear the Lord and choose obedience, yet trust that God will provide for you in everything. This is what submission is about.
God bless you both and thank you Dre for the hope I needed to see that a man can be such a man as God intended. Keep in mind, that I am also praying to the Lord to prepare me for my future husband and to deliver me out of my old ways, bad financial habits, and to transform me and to give me all the fruit that my husband will need. I am praying to be a woman of God and to prepare for submission while still having my strength, my honor and wisdom.
These are a few of my spiritual goals and I thank you both for being transparent. I thank you Dre for being such caring and patient man, provider and not a selfish man.
Bri- kiddos to you for working hard to change and balancing what he needs in the relationship which allows him to love you and want to play that role. He obviously sees your strength and honors you and praises you for your efforts. What you both have is beautiful. I pray that you both stay true to the Lord and may be guide you both to marriage and building your family. I hope you both realize that what you are both doing is building a foundation in Christ and through your obedience and efforts you will both have a house representing a life that will extremely strong in the Lord.
Praise Jesus!! May the Holy Spirit fill you and your home with a Godly foundation for a lifetime. Stay strong through the Lord Jesus in prayer and faith.

I like how you already have the mindset of protecting her. In your marriage you will become the Prophet Poet & Priest. As a Prophet you should be able to decree & declare some things and your wife see it come to past. As a Poet you should be creative and romantic in your marriage. As the Priest in your home you should be able to pray over your wife and wash her with the watering of the Word of God that will bring about healing and transformation. I like y’all but I’m not with the submission. You live on your own as an adult woman for 10 years, and then you fall in love and suddenly you need guidance? I prefer a life partner. The problem with submission as discussed is that only women submit. Im sure there are times when Bre has to tell Dre to lock the door or change shoes (or something to that effect), but somehow that’s not Dre submitting. Like this is my life too, my partner can’t just take my opinion into consideration for my life. We either discussing our life or nothing else. You’re not directing my life with my occasional input and I’m just going along. Just because I trust you to make the right decisions doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t exercise my own agency in *our* life. I would expect him to do the same, both of our agency in take, working together as partners.

At this point, you’re better off alone. Partners work well when they base the relationship around empathy, communication, and trust - in it of itself, this requires both people to play active roles. It’s a bit weird, to me, to have one person be the ‘designated submitter.’
i think you misunderstand leadership. it is first and foremost a servant position. and serving as lead does not mean the wife will never take lead on many tasks or responsibilities. effective and secure leadership makes room for each spouse to shine in their respective strengths. leading also does not entail never discussing major plans with your partner. i love the analogy of the head (husband) and the neck (wife). without the neck, the head could not move or see panoramically and would be useless.

-- There is no problem with submission, as long as the man respects the woman and vice versa. If they are able to cooperate together and support one another, submission is not bad. People did use it to do wrong, which is sad. But if the two individuals value one another, with truth, godliness, loyalty, love, and respect, which is something healthy in a relationship, submission is not bad. That is why knowing what submission truly is, is important and knowing when a man is abusing it or using your gift against you. And then again, you have to take into account the man’s actions and who he is. How he is with people too and with God too. In front and behind, cameras or people.
-- You can be independent, have a job, be strong and still decide to submit to someone that is good and truly loves you. People don’t know the true meaning of submission. We can't change it to what we like, since it will bring confusion. You should be ready to do so with a man you love and feel comfortable with. The man should be godly behind and in front of the cameras or people. It is a natural process that we can allow ourselves or just come like that. It doesn’t mean letting a man take advantage of us in any cases or not supporting one another or both staying humble.
What if he led you in the wrong direction? What if the women's wisdom is wasted ... and because of the the mistake was made?
