One more thing: Are all Irish women this beautiful..? Feels like it's time to visit Ireland soon, never been there but heard so many great things about your country from other Scandinavians who have been there on golf travels. Anyway, great review and two thumbs up.
consumer reports ranks volvo dead last in 2018 out of 29 manufacturers for reliability. sorry, but the days of the p1800 are long gone. a 2019 mazda cx-5 turbo signature is a far better product for much less money. and that mazda is gonna last. car and driver have done 0-60 mph in 6,2 seconds with a cx-5 signature. nobody does 4 cylinders engines like the japanese. they last forever.
I got the XC40 over the Mazda CX5 because not only does the interior look and feel better, it comes better equipped. At the time you could only get the safety pack if you wanted a diesel CX5 so that was a deal breaker for me... Not only that but Mazda couldn't get anywhere close to the deal I got with Volvo for my XC40 which was a shame. I still see the CX5 and wished I got one but I'm just a car guy who loves all cars so I see most cars and wish I had one too 😂
Picking up my T4 AWD R-Design next week... I can't wait! Such a lovely car.

The screen works on gestures as well so you don’t need to “faff” with the screen as you’re driving.

The XC60 is more the family car. The XC40 is still relatively small.

They are lovely cars but at that price I'll stick with my 2019 Suzuki Jimny..talking of which Sinead are you going to do a review on the Jimny soon?

At 5:53 why do the front headlights blink that way? Noticed that the other day on our XC40.
It's the way LEDs work. They're not on continuously but pulse - usually too fast for the human eye to notice but cameras pick it up

Why are the windows fogged? This should not happen anymore on a modern car I would think (except for Vauxhalls/Opels of course).

Skyactiv engine have a poor reputation for reliability.
Unlike the beautiful Sinead, this car is rather ugly looking! Too boxy and too square. Ungainly looking. Young trendites will be put off by the looks.
