I cannot understand why, for a premium product, Volvo have deleted the water temperature gauge. As an engineer I have detected issues with the cooling systems on at least 3 of my previous cars by noting unusual activity of the water temperature. Seems a really cheap, penny-pinching move to delete this feature
Quite right on the low mileage being surprising and not okay. I like the non-standing-out thing, but for a mini-truck that heavy they really should offer a bigger simpler engine which could last longer. Would it get 12 mpg with 5 cylinders? A hybrid would be another 500 kg and save any fuel? I agree this is a lease mobile at least until we see depreciation and maintenance costs, and for the price doesn’t Volvo make much nicer in the S 60?

Worst SUV I've ever driven! It s very drab and lumbering compared to the Range Rover Evoque. Switched to the Evoque because its Range Rover and basically it's better all round.

That noise when turning the wheel is something very wrong. I have the XC40 T3 Inscription and have never had that noise. Needs to be fixed.

There is an option to set the handbrake to come on automatically when you stop the engine, don't get the steering noise on mine!
he should check the tyre pressure, that's probably the noise issue
